Best Stakeholder Mapping Software for Sales: 12 Tools Compared (2026)

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

Stakeholder mapping software helps B2B sellers record who sits on a buying committee, the role each person plays, how much influence they hold and whether they support the deal. The right tool depends on scope: account-planning tools for strategic accounts, deal rooms for live opportunities, CRM-native maps for Salesforce teams, and whiteboards for one-off diagrams.

Below: 12 tools in four categories, each with its published price and one limitation, then how to choose and a fictional worked example.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list, and Revspire’s Digital Sales Room includes AI stakeholder mapping. Revspire appears once, in the deal-room category, and is not ranked above other tools. Tools are grouped by category and listed alphabetically. Prices come from each vendor’s own page, checked on 26 October 2026; “Not published” means we found no price on the vendor pages we could open.

What is stakeholder mapping software?

Stakeholder mapping software (also sold as relationship mapping or org chart software for sales) turns the people in a target account into a structured record: reporting lines, each person’s role in the decision, their influence, their stance toward you, and how well your team covers them. The method itself is covered in our guide to stakeholder mapping for the B2B buying committee; this page compares the software.

Three things separate it from a plain diagram:

  • Structured fields: role, influence and support are values you can filter and report on.
  • A link to the deal or account: the map sits on the CRM record or deal room where the seller plans the next step.
  • Signals that keep it current: engagement data, alerts when a new person joins, or AI suggestions for missing contacts.

If you only need the vocabulary, see the glossary entries for stakeholder mapping and the buying committee.

Account-planning tools with relationship maps

These tools treat the map as part of a strategic account plan. Choose them when the map must outlive any single deal.

Altify

Altify is Upland Software’s account and opportunity planning product. Its relationship map guide (Winter ’20, v9.0) describes formal and informal influence lines, a level of support (mentor, supporter or nonsupporter), your level of contact with each person, and placeholders for vacant positions.

  • Pricing and limitation: no price on the Upland pages we opened. The public guide dates from Winter ’20, and uplandsoftware.com/altify now redirects to altify.com, which we could not open; confirm current features in a demo.
  • Choose it when: the map belongs to a formal, multi-year account plan.

DemandFarm

DemandFarm’s Org Chart page (modified 6 June 2025) describes AI-built org charts, contact recommendations, who is pushing or pulling a deal, champion and detractor identification, C-suite engagement tracking and engagement plans, “without leaving your CRM”.

  • Pricing and limitation: the DemandFarm pricing page (modified 24 June 2026) sells Relationship Maps in tiers by company size with no prices shown. The org chart page does not name the CRMs it runs in.
  • Choose it when: key account managers need org charts built quickly across many large accounts.

Kapta

Kapta is a key account management platform. Its product page describes Kapta Org Charts (formal structure plus power centres, influencers, blockers and champions), stakeholder coverage, health scores, whitespace analysis and QBR workflows, with integration logos for Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Pricing and limitation: no published price. Sentiment is presented as an input to health scores rather than a field on each contact.
  • Choose it when: retaining and growing existing key accounts matters more than new-logo deals.

Deal-room and mutual action plan tools

These tools put the map inside the workspace you share with the buyer, next to the mutual action plan and engagement data. For the wider category, see our comparison of digital sales room software.

Accord

Accord’s own stakeholder mapping article (28 July 2026) describes an enterprise deal platform with stakeholder mapping, digital sales rooms, mutual action plans, Accord Agents and CRM connectivity.

  • Pricing and limitation: the Accord pricing page lists Starter from $99 and Growth from $119 per user per month plus a platform fee whose amount is not published.
  • Choose it when: your process runs on mutual plans for large, multi-month deals.

Aligned

Aligned’s pricing page (modified 12 October 2026) lists a Stakeholder Map on every plan, including free Starter, covering roles, influence, coverage gaps and reporting lines. Its stakeholder mapping guide (modified 24 October 2026) adds engagement analytics that update the map and automatic stakeholder identification.

  • Pricing and limitation: Starter is free (up to 4 active rooms per seat); Basic is $35 and Pro $60 per seat per month, or $29 and $49 with annual billing. Two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync is Enterprise only.
  • Choose it when: a small team wants a working map this week and can live without CRM sync.

Dock

Dock’s sales deal room page says sellers can keep contacts and account maps alongside the opportunity, review activity by person, and get alerts when a new stakeholder joins.

  • Pricing and limitation: the Dock pricing page lists Free, Standard at $350 a month with 5 users, Premium at $1,000 a month billed annually with 10 users, and $50 a month per extra seat; external collaborators are free. The sales page does not describe role, influence or sentiment fields.
  • Choose it when: engagement by person matters more than a detailed political map.

Revspire

Revspire’s Digital Sales Room builds the buying-committee stakeholder map automatically with AI, showing champions, decision makers and blockers in one view and identifying risks in the deal, plus mutual action plans with owners and due dates and real-time buyer-engagement analytics, in rooms curated from approved Content Hub assets.

  • Pricing and limitation: priced per module with unlimited user licenses, about $25,000 USD a year (Revspire pricing). It is not a standalone map: Deal Room is added to the Content Hub base platform, so a team that only wants a map pays for more than it needs.
  • Choose another tool when: you only want maps on Salesforce records (Prolifiq) or a single diagram (a whiteboard).

Org chart and relationship intelligence tools

These tools help you find missing people and keep the map tied to CRM or LinkedIn data. Choose them when the problem is coverage.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

LinkedIn’s plan comparison page describes Relationship Map, in Advanced and Advanced Plus, as dynamic org charts with alerts on key leads and visibility into buying committee gaps. TeamLink uses your company’s network to find paths into an account.

  • Pricing and limitation: LinkedIn’s compare plans page (updated 27 September 2026) lists Advanced from US$159.99 a month or US$1,799.88 a year per license, as estimates that may exclude tax. CRM integration needs Advanced Plus, which is priced by quote.
  • Choose it when: your maps are full of gaps and you need to find people before you can classify them.

Prolifiq

Prolifiq’s relationship mapping page describes maps built from Salesforce contacts with roles (champion, blocker, economic buyer and others), influence (low, medium or high) and a support status, each stored on a Salesforce object so it is reportable. AI-built maps from “Reports To” data are in beta and need a Crush license.

  • Pricing and limitation: the Prolifiq pricing page lists Relationship Map at $27 and Crush at $54 per user per month, billed annually, for 1 to 10 users. It is Salesforce only, sold through AppExchange.
  • Choose it when: RevOps wants coverage reports built from structured CRM fields.

Whiteboard and diagram tools

For one diagram before an account review, a whiteboard is cheaper and faster, but it is a drawing: it does not update when someone changes jobs and is not attached to the opportunity.

Lucidchart

Lucid’s plans article (updated 12 October 2026) lists data import from CSV, Excel and Salesforce, useful for turning a contact export into an org chart.

  • Pricing and limitation: Individual is $9 a month plus tax per Lucid’s trial page. Those imports are one-time on Free, Individual and Team plans.
  • Choose it when: you need a presentable diagram, not a system of record.

Miro

Miro is a collaborative whiteboard, useful for live account-mapping workshops; its pricing page lists more than 7,000 templates on the free plan.

  • Pricing and limitation: Starter $8 and Business $20 per member per month, billed yearly. On the free plan only the three most recent boards stay editable.
  • Choose it when: the team already works in Miro and the map is a workshop output.

Mural

Mural’s stakeholder mapping page offers a template for mapping influence and interest and identifying decision makers, champions and blockers, with Mural AI and map building from LinkedIn profiles.

  • Pricing and limitation: the Mural pricing page lists Team+ at $9.99 per member per month billed annually and Business at $17.99. The free plan allows three editable murals at a time.
  • Choose it when: you want a stakeholder template without buying a sales tool.

How to choose stakeholder mapping software

  • Account or deal? A multi-year strategic account points to account-planning tools; a live opportunity points to a deal room.
  • Where must the data live? If RevOps wants coverage in CRM reports, pick a tool that stores fields on CRM records or offers two-way sync, and check which plan includes it.
  • Finding people or reading them? If your maps are half empty, start with a discovery tool such as Sales Navigator. If you know the names but not their stance, you need role, influence and support fields.
  • Do you want buyer engagement on the map? Deal rooms show who opened what.
  • What is the full annual cost? Per-seat prices (Accord, Aligned, Prolifiq, Sales Navigator) grow with headcount, Dock bundles users into plans, and Revspire is priced per module with unlimited users. Ask for platform fees and CRM sync costs too.

In a demo, ask the vendor to map one of your real accounts, set role, influence and stance for three people, and show where that data appears in your CRM.

What should a stakeholder map capture?

Check that your tool can hold these five things for every person. Our free stakeholder map template has the same columns for a spreadsheet start.

Field

What to record

Why it matters

Role

Champion, economic buyer, decision maker, technical evaluator, legal or procurement, blocker

Shows whether each part of the decision has a buyer-side owner

Influence

High, medium or low, plus who influences whom

A low-title person can carry a high-title decision

Sentiment

Supporter, neutral or opponent, with the evidence

Separates hope from proof

Coverage

Who on your team owns the relationship and when you last spoke

Exposes single-threaded deals before they stall

Next action

One dated step per key person

Turns the map into a plan instead of a picture

Worked example: one deal, three tool choices

The company and people below are fictional.

Harbourline Freight, a fictional 1,200-person logistics company, is evaluating a route-planning platform. The seller knows a VP Operations (likely champion), an IT architect (technical evaluator), a procurement manager and the CFO (economic buyer, not yet met). Legal and the head of the largest depot are unknown.

  • Whiteboard: the account executive draws six boxes before the forecast call. Fast, but out of date as soon as the depot head is identified, and the CFO’s stance is invisible to the manager.
  • Discovery plus CRM: Sales Navigator’s Relationship Map surfaces the depot head and the legal lead; the seller adds them to Salesforce and records role, influence and support in a CRM-native tool, so the CFO gap shows up in pipeline review.
  • Deal room: the seller maps the six people in a deal room and shares the mutual action plan. Engagement data shows the CFO has not opened the business case, so the next action is a CFO meeting brokered by the VP Operations.

The choice is whether you need a picture, a CRM record or a live view of buyer engagement; you can also pair one discovery tool with one deal or account tool. If the deal-room route fits, book a Revspire demo to see the stakeholder map, mutual action plan and buyer analytics together.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best stakeholder mapping software for sales?

It depends on what the map is for. Account-planning tools such as Altify, DemandFarm and Kapta suit strategic accounts, deal rooms such as Accord, Aligned, Dock and Revspire suit live opportunities, and Prolifiq suits Salesforce teams that want reportable fields. A whiteboard is enough for one diagram.

What is relationship mapping software?

It records the people in an account and how they connect: reporting lines, informal influence, each person’s stance toward you and who on your team knows them. In sales it is largely another name for stakeholder mapping software, though some relationship tools focus on finding warm paths through your own network.

Is there free stakeholder mapping software?

Yes. On 26 October 2026, Aligned’s free Starter plan listed a Stakeholder Map, Dock had a free plan, and Miro and Mural both offered free plans limited to three editable boards. Check room, board and CRM sync limits before rolling one out to a team.

Can I use LinkedIn Sales Navigator as org chart software for sales?

Partly. Relationship Map in Advanced and Advanced Plus builds org charts and flags buying committee gaps, which makes it strong for discovery. CRM integration requires Advanced Plus, so you may still record roles and stance in your CRM or deal room.
