Visual Summary Behavior

  • reporting_preview_run returns chart-ready visual summaries for tabular numeric output.
  • For summary-style object payloads, MCP emits KPI-style visual_summary so ChatGPT/Codex can render compact metric cards.
  • If no numeric signal exists, visual_summary is returned as null .

  1. Run reporting_preview_run with selected fields and filters.
  2. Save with reporting_save and capture internal_report_url .
