Best Sales Certification Software in 2026: 13 Tools Compared
A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.
The best sales certification software depends on what you certify. For certification inside a readiness platform, look at Mindtickle, Highspot, Showpad, Seismic Learning, SalesHood, Allego or Revspire. For AI role-play certification, Second Nature, Hyperbound, Yoodli or, in regulated industries, Quantified. For certification tracked in a company LMS, Docebo or Learn:Up.
Sales certification confirms that a rep can do something, such as pitch a new product or handle a pricing objection, before they do it in front of a buyer. This guide compares 13 sales rep certification platforms with published pricing, one limitation each and when to choose them. For how to design the programme itself, see our guide to building a sales certification program.

What should sales certification software do?
A certificate is only as good as the test behind it. Course completion shows a rep watched something; a scored pitch or role-play shows they can do it. Check for these:
- Scored practice: an AI role-play or recorded pitch scored against a rubric, not only a quiz.
- A pass mark you set: per criterion, so a rep cannot pass on delivery while getting the pricing wrong.
- Human review: managers can review fails and borderline passes, and override the AI score.
- Retakes: a rule for how many attempts reps get and how long they wait.
- Expiry and recertification: certificates that lapse when the product, pricing or regulation changes.
- Audit trail: a record of who passed what and when, which regulated industries need.
- Partners: the same certification for channel partner reps, reported by partner company.
“AI sales certification” usually means the AI scores every attempt first and managers calibrate. Before trusting it, have the AI and two managers score the same ten attempts and compare. Our sales skills assessment template gives you a rubric to start from.
Certification inside sales readiness platforms
These platforms combine training, practice and certification for revenue teams. Our guide to readiness scorecards and AI role-play certification covers how teams use them.
Allego
- What it does: AI-scored simulations with scorecards aligned to defined skills, in 32 languages (Allego AI coaching); Allego lists certification programmes alongside role-play and just-in-time content for product launches (Allego life sciences).
- Pricing: per user per month, billed annually upfront; no figures; typical contract three years (Allego pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: its public pages say little about how certifications are configured, such as pass marks or expiry.
- Choose it when: you certify reps in several languages.
Highspot
- What it does: “easy-to-build rubrics, skills assessments, and certifications”, manager scorecards and AI-powered 360 assessments (Highspot coaching), plus role-based certifications in its training product (Highspot training).
- Pricing: not published; training starts on the Better plan (Highspot pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: neither product page explains how certifications are scored or renewed, and Highspot is now part of Seismic.
- Choose it when: certifications should sit next to the content reps use.
Mindtickle
- What it does: pitch certification using AI role-plays, with AI reviewing submissions and “automated certification based on scores that you set”; practice and feedback in 25+ languages (Mindtickle AI role-play).
- Pricing: not published (Mindtickle pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the page gives no detail on retakes or recertification rules.
- Choose it when: you need to certify hundreds of reps on a new pitch quickly.
Revspire
- What it does: Revspire’s AI Sales Training and Coaching module, sold as Academy (training and certification), covers seller onboarding, training and certification without a separate LMS. Reps certify through AI video role-play of buyer conversations and deal-specific objection practice with battle cards, scored instantly for clarity, confidence and objection handling, while managers track readiness by team. Partner Portal runs partner certifications on the same engine, with certification analytics by partner.
- Pricing: priced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average (Revspire pricing).
- Limitation: Revspire’s site does not describe certificate expiry, recertification scheduling or SCORM export, so regulated teams should confirm how records reach their compliance LMS.
- Choose it when: you want reps and partners certified on the objections in real deals, using the same approved playbooks they sell with.
SalesHood
- What it does: an AI Program Builder turns existing material into certification programmes, and certifications confirm readiness before sellers contact customers (SalesHood learning management).
- Pricing: not published; Essential, Pro and Unlimited, with AI role-play and pitch practice at 10, 80 or unlimited submissions per licence (SalesHood pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: on Essential, 10 AI practice submissions per licence leaves little room for retakes.
- Choose it when: you want certification programmes built from content you already have.
Seismic Learning
- What it does: certifications are learning paths that issue a shareable certificate and badge; they can never expire, expire once or expire on a recurring basis, with reassignment 30 days before expiry and email reminders (Seismic Learning help: certifications); the product adds AI role-plays and coaching plans (Seismic Learning).
- Pricing: no prices on the Seismic pages we opened (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the help article describes certification as completing a path; it does not describe a scored pass mark.
- Choose it when: recurring recertification with automatic reminders is the main need.
Showpad
- What it does: automated certification workflows, Pitch AI that can certify sellers on company narratives, Roleplay AI and competency evaluations (Showpad Sales Readiness).
- Pricing: not published; “Knowledge Checks and Certifications” and Roleplay AI are listed from the Advanced plan; licensed per user (Showpad pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the entry Professional plan includes courses but not certifications.
- Choose it when: field teams should certify in the same app they sell from.
AI role-play certification tools
These specialists focus on scored conversation practice. Our AI sales role-play software guide and Hyperbound vs Second Nature compare them in more depth.
Hyperbound
- What it does: roleplays with AI buyers, AI scorecards built on your methodology and scoring of real calls; onboarding and certifications is a listed use case (Hyperbound).
- Pricing: Free, Practice and Perform plans, no prices shown (Hyperbound pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: its public pages give few details on certification mechanics such as pass marks or expiry.
- Choose it when: you want to certify in practice and then check the same skills on real calls.
Quantified
- What it does: AI roleplay with personas such as physicians and payer reviewers, scoring against your exemplars, and certification “on demonstrated behavior” with an audit-ready record; Compliance AI flags off-label language; it works with Salesforce, Veeva and your LMS (Quantified).
- Pricing: no prices on the homepage; its pricing page could not be opened on 27 October 2026.
- Limitation: it is built for life sciences and regulated industries, so personas fit other B2B sales less well.
- Choose it when: certification must stand up to a compliance review.
Second Nature
- What it does: admins set evaluation criteria and passing thresholds, managers add manual evaluations for certification, and it integrates with Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors and Adobe Learning Manager (Second Nature FAQ); role-play covers discovery, objections, demos and cold calls (Second Nature).
- Pricing: not published (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: no plans or prices are listed, even in the FAQ.
- Choose it when: the certificate should be recorded in the LMS you already run.
Yoodli
- What it does: sales roleplays scored on criteria such as discovery questions and objection handling, with a sales onboarding and certification use case and integrations including Docebo, Seismic, Showpad, Highspot and Workday (Yoodli); Business includes custom rubrics and LMS, CRM and MCP integrations (Yoodli pricing).
- Pricing: individual Pro $8 and Advanced $20 a month, billed annually; Business is priced per seat with no figure shown; Enterprise by contact (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the published prices are for individuals; team certification needs a Business quote.
- Choose it when: you want custom rubrics and certification results inside an existing enablement or learning tool.
Certification tracked in an LMS
Docebo
- What it does: the Elevate plan includes “certification and compliance tracking” and AI content creation, and Enterprise adds extended enterprise for external audiences (Docebo pricing).
- Pricing: not published; priced on active learner usage (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the pricing page lists no role-play or scored conversation practice, so pair it with a practice tool for skill-based certification.
- Choose it when: HR and compliance need every certification in one system of record.
Learn:Up (formerly WorkRamp)
- What it does: Confirm’s AI-first LMS, formerly WorkRamp, with video and written pitch certifications and AI simulations where reps rehearse and certify on talk tracks before customer calls (Learn:Up).
- Pricing: no prices on the product page (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the page does not describe pass marks, retakes or expiry.
- Choose it when: one LMS should hold both employee training and sales certification.
Worked example: certifying reps on new pricing
Northfield Analytics (fictional) changes its packaging and needs 40 account executives certified within three weeks. Its enablement lead sets up the programme like this:
Element
Decision
Task
A five-minute AI role-play with a finance buyer who asks why the price went up
Rubric
Four criteria scored 1 to 5: explains the new packages, handles the price objection, applies discount rules, agrees a next step
Pass mark
Average of 4, with no criterion below 3
Review
AI scores every attempt; managers review every fail and a sample of passes
Retakes
Two attempts a week, with coaching between attempts
Expiry
Lapses at the next pricing change, then recertify
Illustrative only. Set your own rubric and pass mark from the skills that matter in your deals.
Before launch, two managers and the AI score the same ten pilot attempts. Where they disagree, the lead rewrites the rubric wording, not the pass mark.
How do you choose sales certification software?
- Decide what you certify. Product knowledge suits quizzes in an LMS; pitches and objections need scored practice.
- Check where records must live. If HR or compliance needs them, confirm the export to your LMS.
- Read the plan tier. Certifications start on Advanced at Showpad and on Better at Highspot; practice submissions are capped on lower SalesHood plans.
- Test calibration. Compare AI and manager scores on the same attempts before launch.
- Include partners. If partner reps sell your product, check partner access and reporting by partner company.

Frequently asked questions
What is sales certification software?
Sales certification software tests whether reps can perform a sales skill, such as a pitch or objection response, and records who passed. Modern tools score recorded or AI role-play attempts against a rubric and track expiry and recertification.
What is AI sales certification?
AI sales certification uses AI to score each certification attempt, usually an AI role-play or recorded pitch, against your rubric and pass mark. Managers then review fails and borderline passes. Mindtickle, Second Nature and Yoodli are examples.
How do you certify sales reps?
Define the skill, write a rubric with three to five criteria, set a pass mark per criterion, and test with a scored role-play or pitch. Allow retakes with coaching in between, and record who passed and when.
How often should sales reps recertify?
Recertify when the thing you certified changes: a new product, pricing or core message. Regulated teams often add a fixed cycle. Tools such as Seismic Learning can expire certificates on a recurring basis and reassign them automatically.
Can you certify channel partners with the same software?
Yes, in several tools. Revspire’s Partner Portal runs partner certifications with analytics by partner, Mindtickle lists partner enablement as a use case for its training programmes, and Docebo’s extended enterprise serves external audiences.
