Frequently asked questions about Bigtincan

Is Bigtincan part of Showpad now?

Yes. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Bigtincan Holdings on 23 April 2025, taking it off the ASX, and combined it with Showpad on 30 October 2025 under the Showpad brand, led by CEO Apratim Purakayastha. Showpad's homepage now lists Brainshark, Bigtincan Hub, Zunos and ClearSlide as Showpad tools. For the combined company's plans, see Revspire vs Showpad.

What happened to Brainshark?

Brainshark was a Bigtincan product (G2 lists it as Bigtincan Readiness, formerly Brainshark), so it moved to Showpad with the rest of Bigtincan. Showpad's Brainshark page now calls it Showpad Brainshark, says it "powers many of Showpad's readiness features" and that it "can also be purchased standalone for organizations that don't require a full sales enablement system". It lists courses, AI-assisted authoring, video coaching, Roleplay AI, Coaching AI, readiness scorecards and SCORM export. When we checked on 26 October 2026, the page made no statement about roadmap or migration for existing customers.

Is Bigtincan being discontinued?

No published statement says so. Showpad says Bigtincan Hub "remains fully supported and continues to be actively developed with new innovation and AI", and that Zunos is fully supported and actively developed; ClearSlide "remains supported for existing customers". None of these pages gives an end-of-support date or explains how existing Bigtincan contracts carry over, so get the roadmap, the support term and any migration terms in writing before you renew.

How much does Bigtincan cost?

Bigtincan publishes no prices. Its pricing page lists Essential and Elite editions, Readiness, Content Hub and Engagement starter packages, and Bronze to Platinum support, all by quote. G2's 2024 listings describe per-user billing, and Showpad licenses its own plans per user by quote. We found no dated third-party benchmark with a stated sample size for Bigtincan; the Bigtincan pricing guide has the detail.

When should you stay with Bigtincan or Brainshark instead of Revspire?

Stay with Bigtincan or Brainshark if:

  • Your reps sell in the field and need content offline on iOS, Windows or Android devices, which Bigtincan supports and Revspire does not advertise.
  • Your training runs on Brainshark courses, video coaching and SCORM export into an LMS, and rebuilding it would cost more than it saves.
  • You use Brainshark beyond sales, for compliance, HR, leadership or financial advisor training, which Showpad lists as uses.
  • Your contract fixes the roadmap, support level and price for the whole term, so the move to Showpad's brand carries little risk for you.
  • You want an analyst-recognised vendor: Bigtincan and Showpad were both Leaders in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms.

Who should choose Revspire over Bigtincan?

B2B teams with multi-stakeholder deals that want governed content, AI playbooks, AI role-play coaching and digital sales rooms in one workflow, with unlimited user licenses. Field teams that depend on offline content are better served by Bigtincan or Showpad. Choose Revspire if:

  • You want battlecards, objection plays and win/loss analysis as a dedicated module; Bigtincan's pricing page lists no playbook module.
  • You want mutual action plans and stakeholder maps in the buyer room, which Bigtincan's digital sales rooms page does not mention.
  • You want unlimited user licenses rather than per-user pricing. Revspire prices by module, and its average customer pays about $25,000 USD a year.
  • You would rather decide your renewal on one platform than wait for Showpad to publish how Bigtincan editions map to its plans.

What are the main Bigtincan competitors and alternatives?

The tools most often weighed against Bigtincan are Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, Mindtickle and Allego, alongside Revspire. Which of them fits depends on whether you need an enterprise suite, content in the flow of work, a digital sales room, or training and AI role-play. Each one has its own comparison and a dated pricing guide on this site.

  • Highspot: Enterprise enablement suite; a Seismic product brand since the merger completed in August 2026.
  • Seismic: Enterprise enablement leader with financial-services depth and 150+ integrations; now also owns Highspot.
  • Showpad: Field-sales enablement platform that merged with Bigtincan in 2025. Per-user licences.
  • Mindtickle: Calls itself a sales readiness platform: training, coaching, AI role-play, content and sales rooms.
  • Allego: Revenue enablement for regulated industries: learning, coaching, content and sales rooms, AI included.
