Does Bigtincan still publish its pricing?
Bigtincan pricing is not published. Its pricing page lists Essential and Elite editions plus Readiness, Content Hub and Engagement packages, all quoted. Since Vector Capital combined Bigtincan with Showpad on 30 October 2025, Showpad presents Bigtincan Hub as its own product, without prices.
No. The Bigtincan website is still live and Bigtincan-branded, and it does not redirect to showpad.com, but its pricing page showed no prices when we checked on 19 October 2026. Under the headline "Design your ideal package with our team." it gives no currency, billing unit, minimum seat count, free plan or free trial, and its pricing calls to action are "Get Pricing" and "Contact us".
What the page does show is packaging: two platform editions, three smaller packages for buyers "starting smaller", and four support levels.
| Package | Type | What bigtincan.com lists |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Platform edition | Training, coaching, content, built-in AI, digital sales rooms, analytics and scorecards. |
| Elite | Platform edition | Adds automated content shares, dynamic practice, instant feedback and meeting summaries. |
| Readiness | Starter package | Training, role-play practice and an AI tutor. |
| Content Hub | Starter package | Content plus an AI assistant. |
| Engagement | Starter package | Video meetings and digital sales rooms drafted with AI. |
| Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum | Support package | Four support levels, each linked to a PDF, with no price on the page. |
The page also lists the same ten capabilities (Learning & Coaching, CoachingAI, Content Management, SearchAI, Digital Sales Rooms & Shares, MeetingsAI, Analytics, Scorecards, RolePlayAI and Genie Assistant) under both editions, so its text does not show which edition includes which. Its FAQ asks "How is your pricing structured?", "How long are your standard contracts?" and "Are there any upfront costs or fees?", but the answers do not appear in the page text, so put those three questions to sales yourself.
AI comes in standard and Pro versions. Bigtincan's GenieAI page names Genie Assistant and Genie Assistant Pro (podcast generation, voice chat, image analysis and external knowledge sources), and AuthoringAI and AuthoringAI Pro (digital avatars, audio and translation in 30+ languages). Neither page says whether the Pro versions, or RolePlayAI, cost extra.
Who owns Bigtincan now, and is it part of Showpad?
Yes, Bigtincan is now part of Showpad. Launched in Sydney in 2011 and listed on the ASX in 2017 (Bigtincan), it was taken private and then combined with Showpad in 2025, in two steps led by the private equity firm Vector Capital. On 23 April 2025 Vector completed its acquisition of Bigtincan Holdings for A$0.22 a share in cash, about A$183 million; the shares left the ASX and the company became privately held. On 26 August 2025 Vector agreed to buy Showpad and combine the two, saying the combined business would operate under the Showpad brand.
That deal closed on 30 October 2025. Showpad and Bigtincan now operate as one company under the Showpad name, with Apratim Purakayastha as CEO; Showpad's About page still lists him in October 2026. The combined company cites more than 2,000 customers in 50 countries. In plain terms, Bigtincan is no longer an independent vendor, and Showpad now presents each Bigtincan product as part of its own range:
| Product | Origin at Bigtincan | Status on showpad.com |
|---|---|---|
| Bigtincan Hub | Bigtincan's own platform, launched 2014 | Now "Showpad Bigtincan Hub", previously called Content Hub. Showpad says it "remains fully supported and continues to be actively developed" with new AI, and users still log in at identity.bigtincan.com (Showpad). |
| Brainshark | Acquired 2021 | Now "Showpad Brainshark". It powers many of Showpad's readiness features and can still be bought standalone, with courses, video coaching, Roleplay AI and SCORM export (Showpad). |
| Zunos | Acquired 2018 | Now "Showpad Zunos", mobile-first microlearning for frontline teams, which Showpad says "is fully supported and continues to be actively developed" (Showpad). |
| ClearSlide | Acquired 2020 | Its page reads "ClearSlide is now Showpad." and says it "remains supported for existing customers"; the page's call to action is a Showpad demo (Showpad). |
The Bigtincan website is only partly updated. Its homepage leads with "Two leaders. One bold future.", says Bigtincan and Showpad are building "a revenue effectiveness solution with fully integrated AI" and links to Showpad, while its merger page still says the companies "will be joining forces later this year". Both pages are set to noindex; the pricing page is not. We found no date for retiring the Bigtincan site or brand, and no statement on whether the Essential and Elite editions are still sold to new customers or only renewed.
How much does Bigtincan cost per user and per year?
There is no reliable public figure. Bigtincan publishes no per-user or annual price, and we found no dated third-party benchmark with a stated sample size for Bigtincan.
The per-user information that exists is old. G2's Bigtincan Content listing shows Bigtincan Hub Standard, Enterprise and Ultimate editions, each "Contact Us" and billed per user per month, with each tier including the one below; G2 says that pricing information was last updated on 9 October 2024, about six months before Vector Capital bought Bigtincan. G2's Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) page, last updated on 5 August 2024, says the vendor lists no price there and that the product is sold as annual subscriptions priced by number of users. Neither listing uses today's Essential and Elite names, so treat them as evidence of a per-user model, not of current packaging.
Vendr's Bigtincan page shows contract figures but no purchase count and no update date, and its median figure sits close to the top of its own range, so we do not repeat it. The page is more useful as a list of line items Vendr has seen: the Bigtincan Core Platform on an Essential plan, Gold, Silver and Platinum Support, "Bigtincan EH Audio: Pay As You Go", "Bigtincan Coaching Standalone BNSK" and a "Bigtincan EH Salesforce Connector".
For the combined company's main brand, Vendr reports a median Showpad contract of $34,875 a year, ranging from $13,690 to $129,240, based on 50 purchases and last updated in February 2026. That page does not mention Bigtincan, so it describes Showpad deals, not Bigtincan renewals. Showpad's own pricing page licenses its Professional, Advanced and Expert plans per user by quote and lists Bigtincan Hub only as a menu link under additional tools: it shows no Bigtincan prices and no mapping from Bigtincan editions to Showpad plans. The Showpad pricing guide covers those plans in detail.
What drives the cost of a Bigtincan contract?
Bigtincan publishes no cost drivers. Its pricing page, the G2 listings and Vendr's line items point to these:
- Edition. Elite adds automated content shares, dynamic practice, instant feedback and meeting summaries to what Essential covers.
- Scope. A single starter package (Readiness, Content Hub or Engagement) is offered as a smaller alternative to a full platform edition.
- Users. G2's 2024 listings describe per-user billing for Bigtincan Hub and user-based annual subscriptions for Readiness, and Showpad licenses its current plans per user. No per-user rate or seat minimum is published.
- Support level. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum support are separate packages, and Vendr lists Gold, Silver and Platinum Support as add-ons.
- Add-ons and fees. Vendr's line items include pay-as-you-go audio, standalone coaching and a Salesforce connector, and Bigtincan's own FAQ raises upfront costs or fees without answering on the page.
- AI tier. Genie Assistant Pro and AuthoringAI Pro sit above the standard AI features; Bigtincan does not say whether they are priced separately.
Is Bigtincan still a good choice after the acquisitions?
It can be, mainly if you already run it. Showpad says Bigtincan Hub and Zunos remain fully supported and actively developed, and that Brainshark powers many of its own readiness features; none of the three pages gives an end-of-support date. Bigtincan was also named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, in a report dated 10 November 2025, alongside Showpad and five other vendors (Gartner).
Its strengths suit field-heavy teams. Bigtincan says its apps are "device agnostic, compatible with iOS, Windows, and Android", and lists industry pages for life sciences, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, technology, retail, government and energy (Bigtincan); its content page promises "Work online, offline (and on any device)" (Bigtincan Content).
The risks are about direction rather than today's features. A new buyer is in effect buying into Showpad, whose pricing page does not show how Bigtincan editions map to its plans. Bigtincan's GenieAI page does not mention AI agents or an MCP server, while Showpad's Expert plan lists Genie Agent Studio and a remote MCP server, so ask whether new AI will reach Bigtincan Hub or only Showpad's plans. Bigtincan's digital sales rooms page does not mention mutual action plans, and Showpad says ClearSlide "remains supported for existing customers".
In short, renewing a Bigtincan product you already use can be reasonable if the contract fixes the roadmap, support and migration terms for the whole term. If you are buying new, compare Showpad's current plans with other vendors rather than judging Bigtincan as a standalone company.
What should you ask at a Bigtincan renewal?
Neither the Bigtincan website nor Showpad's pricing page explains how existing Bigtincan contracts carry over, so get these answers in writing:
- Product roadmap. Which product does the renewal cover (Bigtincan Hub, Brainshark, Zunos or a Showpad plan), and is it on a committed roadmap for the whole term? Will features such as Genie Agent Studio or the MCP server come to your product, or only to Showpad's Expert plan?
- Support term. Which support package, from Bronze to Platinum, is included, what response times does it promise, and is support guaranteed until the contract ends? ClearSlide customers should ask for an end-of-support date.
- Migration. If you are asked to move to Showpad's platform, who migrates content, users, courses and integrations, on what timeline and at whose cost? Will logins at identity.bigtincan.com and connectors such as Salesforce keep working until then?
- Price mapping. How do Essential, Elite or the older Standard, Enterprise and Ultimate editions map to Showpad's Professional, Advanced and Expert plans, and is your renewal price protected if you switch?
- Contract terms. What are the standard contract length, any upfront fees, the renewal cap and the notice period? Bigtincan's pricing FAQ asks these questions but does not show the answers.
- AI and add-ons. Are RolePlayAI, Genie Assistant Pro and AuthoringAI Pro included, and do audio, standalone coaching or connector line items still apply?
Frequently asked questions
How much does Bigtincan cost per user?
Bigtincan publishes no per-user price. G2's listings, last updated in August and October 2024, describe Bigtincan Hub editions billed per user per month and Readiness (formerly Brainshark) sold as annual subscriptions priced by user count, all "Contact Us". Showpad, which now presents Bigtincan's products as its own, also licenses per user by quote.
Is Bigtincan part of Showpad now?
Yes. Vector Capital took Bigtincan private in April 2025 and combined it with Showpad under the Showpad brand on 30 October 2025. Showpad now presents Bigtincan Hub, Brainshark, Zunos and ClearSlide as Showpad products, and says ClearSlide remains supported for existing customers.
Is Bigtincan still a good choice after the acquisitions?
For existing users it can be: Showpad says Bigtincan Hub and Zunos remain fully supported and actively developed, and Bigtincan was a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms. Before renewing, get the product roadmap, the support term and any migration to Showpad's plans in writing.
Does Showpad's pricing include Bigtincan products?
Not visibly. Showpad's pricing page lists Professional, Advanced and Expert plans, licensed per user by quote, and mentions Bigtincan Hub only as a menu link. It shows no Bigtincan prices and no mapping from Bigtincan editions to Showpad plans.
Does Bigtincan offer a free trial?
No free plan or free trial appears on Bigtincan's pricing page, which leads only to "Get Pricing" and "Contact us". G2 lists no free trial for Bigtincan Hub or Bigtincan Readiness either.
Is there a Bigtincan alternative that is not priced per user?
Yes. Revspire prices by module with unlimited user licenses, so cost does not grow with headcount; its average customer pays about $25,000 USD a year, quoted by sales. See Revspire vs Showpad or the alternatives hub.
