What to weigh before choosing Highspot

Looking for a Highspot alternative? Revspire suits mid-market and enterprise B2B teams that want content, AI playbooks, AI role-play and sales rooms in one workflow, at published per-user prices. Highspot, a Seismic product brand since 18 August 2026, still fits large, settled enterprise deployments.

What does the Seismic merger mean for Highspot?

Seismic and Highspot signed a definitive merger agreement on 12 February 2026 and completed the deal on 18 August 2026. Highspot continues as a product brand, "Highspot by Seismic".

What the sources say

  • At announcement, both companies said the platforms would stay supported. Nothing published says Highspot is being retired (press release).
  • Seismic's first in-depth roadmap was due at Seismic Shift (12 to 15 October 2026); we found no published product decisions.

Frequently asked questions about Highspot

Is Highspot being merged with Seismic?

Yes. The merger was announced on 12 February 2026 and completed on 18 August 2026. The combined company operates under the Seismic name, and Highspot continues as a product brand called "Highspot by Seismic". Seismic reports about 2,500 customers, 3.5 million users and planned R&D spending above $100 million a year (Highspot blog, 2026-08-18). Terms were not disclosed, and Permira, which has backed Seismic since 2020, stays the controlling shareholder (Seismic press release, GeekWire). Seismic CEO Rob Tarkoff leads the combined company, and Highspot founder Robert Wahbe joins its board.

Is Highspot being discontinued?

No published statement says so. At announcement, Seismic and Highspot said both platforms would continue to be supported after closing. Seismic has not yet published how the two product lines will converge, how they will be packaged or what renewals will cost. Highspot's merger page does not address contracts, pricing or renewals and names your account or customer success contact as the first point of contact, so get those answers in writing before you sign another multi-year term.

How much does Highspot cost?

Highspot pricing is quote-based, with Good, Better and Best packages. Vendr reports a median contract of $60,005 a year across 351 purchases (February 2026), but actual cost depends on seats, packages and term. Highspot builds its packages around equipping and engaging, training and practice, and coaching and reinforcement.

When should you choose Highspot instead of Revspire?

Stay with or choose Highspot if:

  • Highspot is well adopted, wired into the 100+ integrations it lists, and your contract runs beyond the post-merger roadmap decisions.
  • You need analyst-validated enterprise scale: Highspot is a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms.
  • Your teams rely on Highspot's Deal Agent, GTM Agent or its MCP server in ChatGPT and Claude.
  • You run a large, multi-region rollout where switching cost clearly outweighs any feature gap.

Is Revspire a good Highspot alternative for mid-market teams?

Revspire is built for B2B teams with complex, multi-stakeholder deals, typically from about 300 employees upward. It covers content, AI playbooks, AI role-play coaching and digital sales rooms, and it publishes per-user prices. Very large global deployments that depend on Highspot's 100+ integrations may find switching costs too high. Choose Revspire if:

  • You want content, plays, AI role-play and buyer rooms on one platform and one revenue workflow (check pricing for which suite and add-ons include each module).
  • You want to see list prices before a sales call. Revspire publishes per-user prices for two of its three suites.
  • You want content and learning activity tied to pipeline and revenue in the same system, so enablement can show its impact.
  • Your renewal falls before Seismic has published how Highspot will be packaged and priced, and you would rather not commit blind.

What are the main Highspot competitors?

The other Leaders in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms were Allego, Bigtincan, Mindtickle, SalesHood, Seismic and Showpad. Seismic and Highspot are now one company, and Bigtincan has merged into Showpad. Revspire competes for teams that want content, playbooks, coaching and sales rooms in one workflow.
