Salesforce CPQ Alternatives in 2026: End of Sale, Pricing and 9 Options
A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.
Salesforce no longer sells Salesforce CPQ to new customers, but it is not switching it off: existing customers can renew, add users and get support. Salesforce points CPQ customers to Revenue Cloud Advanced. Outside Salesforce, the main alternatives are CPQ suites (Conga, DealHub, Subskribe, Zuora), quoting inside HubSpot, and deal rooms with quoting (GetAccept, PandaDoc, Revspire).
The right choice depends on what your CPQ does today. If it only builds quotes with discounts and approvals, you have many options. If it also drives subscriptions, renewals and invoices, the shortlist is shorter. This guide covers what Salesforce has said, what Revenue Cloud costs, nine options grouped by job and a migration checklist.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Disclosure: Revspire publishes this guide. Revspire appears once, in the deal room group, and is not ranked above other options. Revspire does not offer subscription billing, invoicing or revenue recognition. Options are grouped by job and listed alphabetically within each group. Every statement, price and feature below was checked on the vendor’s own website on 27 October 2026.
What is happening to Salesforce CPQ?
Salesforce’s page Navigating the Future of Salesforce CPQ (checked 27 October 2026) describes the product as “end of sale, not end of life”. In plain terms:
- New customers cannot buy it. The page says: “Salesforce is no longer selling new Salesforce CPQ licenses to new customers.”
- Existing customers keep it. Current customers can buy additional users, renew and receive support under their existing terms. CPQ “is not being switched off”, and there is no end-of-life date.
- No new features. CPQ is in a maintenance phase, “supported, but no longer receiving new feature development”. New features go to Revenue Cloud Advanced and Revenue Cloud Billing.
- No forced migration. The page states: “There is no forced migration.”
- The named successor. Revenue Cloud Advanced, part of the Agentforce Revenue Management suite. Revenue Lifecycle Management was an earlier name for it.
The same page says a typical migration to Revenue Cloud Advanced takes 3 to 6 months from discovery to go-live, and warns that “CPQ-specific objects, custom fields, pricing rules, and scripts don’t map directly”. Salesforce’s CPQ Migration page (published 19 August 2026, modified 14 October 2026) lists four migration paths (lift and shift, selective transformation, full rationalization, new business unit or product line) and four rollouts, including a bridge where new deals go to Revenue Cloud Advanced while existing CPQ contracts run to renewal.
So the pressure is not a shutdown date. It is that CPQ gets no new features while Salesforce’s quoting investment goes elsewhere.
What do Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud cost?
Salesforce no longer publishes a Salesforce CPQ price. Its CPQ pricing address, salesforce.com/sales/cpq/pricing, now shows “Revenue Cloud Pricing” with no legacy CPQ edition. Existing customers pay what their contract says. New buyers see:

Staying on Salesforce: Revenue Cloud
If quoting must stay on Salesforce, Revenue Cloud is the path Salesforce recommends.
Salesforce Revenue Cloud (Growth and Advanced)
- What it does: Salesforce’s CPQ product page describes “an agentic, headless CPQ solution built on Salesforce” under the Revenue Cloud name. Growth covers quoting, configuration, order capture and subscriptions. Advanced adds contracts, orders, consumption, invoicing and AI.
- Pricing: Growth $150 and Advanced $200 per user a month, billed annually; Billing is a quoted add-on (Revenue Cloud pricing, checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: it is a new data model, not an upgrade. Salesforce says CPQ objects, custom fields, pricing rules and scripts do not map directly, and a typical migration takes 3 to 6 months.
- Choose it when: quoting is tightly tied to Salesforce opportunities, contracts and orders.
CPQ and quote-to-revenue suites
These products replace the full CPQ job, and some add subscriptions and billing. Our CPQ software guide and DealHub alternatives cover more of this category.
Conga CPQ
- What it does: Conga sells two CPQ products. Advantage CPQ offers rules-based configuration, goods, services, subscriptions and usage on one quote, renewal quotes and approval workflows for out-of-policy discounts. Smart CPQ is “CRM- and ERP-agnostic, running natively on both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365”, with constraint-based logic and AI price guidance. When we checked, the PROS Smart CPQ product address redirected to this Conga page.
- Pricing: not published. Conga’s pricing page offers a customized plan (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: the Advantage CPQ page does not name the CRMs it integrates with, so confirm yours.
- Choose it when: you have a large, complex catalogue and want a CPQ specialist.
DealHub
- What it does: CPQ (adaptive price book, guided configuration, approval-aware pricing, bundles, partner quoting), subscriptions (amendments, proration, renewals), billing (invoices, usage billing, revenue recognition alignment), CLM and a buyer-facing DealRoom. Its pricing page lists Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics integrations.
- Pricing: not published; the page names Growth and Scale tiers (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: features are not clearly mapped to tiers, so ask which modules a quote includes.
- Choose it when: you want CPQ, subscriptions, billing and a buyer room from one vendor.
Subskribe
- What it does: sold as Subskribe CPQ, Subskribe Billing (including revenue recognition) or the combined Quote-to-Revenue platform. The CPQ product lists “Native integration with Salesforce and HubSpot” (Subskribe pricing).
- Pricing: not published; CPQ and Billing can be bought separately, and integrations are included (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: no list prices, so you need a quote to compare cost.
- Choose it when: you sell subscriptions and want quoting, billing and revenue recognition from one vendor.
Zuora CPQ
- What it does: Zuora’s documentation describes it as “a managed package built on the Salesforce platform”. Reps quote new subscriptions, amendments and renewals, then send them to Zuora for invoicing.
- Pricing: not published in the documentation we checked (27 October 2026); ask Zuora for a quote.
- Limitation: it is built around Zuora as the billing system.
- Choose it when: you want to stay on Salesforce for quoting and use Zuora for subscriptions and invoices.
Quoting inside your CRM: HubSpot
If you are moving to HubSpot, or already run sales there, its native quoting may be enough. Our HubSpot pricing guide covers the Sales Hub side.
HubSpot Revenue Hub
- What it does: HubSpot’s knowledge base (updated 21 September 2026) says “A Revenue Hub subscription is required to use HubSpot CPQ”. You create and approve quotes, buyers review, accept and pay, and subscriptions handle recurring payments.
- Pricing: the Revenue Hub pricing page shows Professional from $85 a seat a month (also shown as $95) and Enterprise from $140; quoting needs one of the two, and quote rules are listed for Enterprise (checked 27 October 2026). The Sales Hub pricing page lists required onboarding fees of $1,500 (Professional) and $3,500 (Enterprise).
- Limitation: it only works if HubSpot is your CRM, so leaving Salesforce CPQ this way means a CRM migration too. The pricing page does not mention revenue recognition.
- Choose it when: your quotes are fairly standard and you are on or moving to HubSpot.
Deal rooms with quoting
If your CPQ mostly produces a priced proposal, a deal room or proposal tool with pricing tables and approvals may replace it. These tools do not handle subscriptions or invoicing. See our PandaDoc alternatives for more options in this group.
GetAccept
- What it does: deal rooms, proposals and pricing tables. Professional includes up to 3 products in the product library; Enterprise adds CPQ (GetAccept pricing).
- Pricing: eSign $25 per user a month; Professional $49 per user a month, minimum 5 users, billed annually; Enterprise custom; 12-month agreements. HubSpot and native Salesforce integrations are listed as add-ons (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: a 3-product library will not hold a real catalogue, so most CPQ replacements need Enterprise.
- Choose it when: you want the quote and the buyer conversation in one room.
PandaDoc
- What it does: documents and quotes. Business and Enterprise include quotes, a product catalogue, pricing tables and approval workflows; “Configure price quote” is a paid add-on on Enterprise (PandaDoc pricing).
- Pricing: Free; Starter $19 and Business $49 per seat a month, billed annually; Enterprise custom. The Salesforce integration is marked as a paid add-on on Business and Enterprise (checked 27 October 2026).
- Limitation: CPQ is an add-on on the top plan only, so Business covers quotes, not configuration rules.
- Choose it when: the main need is clean, approved proposals rather than complex configuration.
Revspire
- What it does: an AI sales enablement platform with a CPQ module: guided configuration with product rules and nested dependencies, global price books with currency rules and floor-price protection, approval routing by margin, discount depth or contract value, real-time discount and margin guardrails, and proposal generation. Digital Sales Rooms carry the quote to the buyer with mutual action plans and buyer engagement analytics. Revspire lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM and Pipedrive among its CRM integrations.
- Pricing: priced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average. Content Hub is the base platform, and CPQ is added to it (Revspire pricing).
- Limitation: Revspire does not list subscription billing, invoicing or revenue recognition, so teams that rely on Salesforce Billing or Revenue Cloud invoicing need a separate billing system.
- Choose it when: you want guided quotes with margin guardrails inside a buyer room, plus governed content, and you bill elsewhere.
Salesforce CPQ implementation and migration checklist
Whichever path you pick, start with an inventory of what your CPQ actually does.
- Read your contract. Note the renewal date, user count and price.
- Inventory product rules. Export and count product rules, price rules, option constraints and bundles. They will not map directly to any new system.
- List custom code. Find calculator plugins, Apex triggers, flows and custom fields that touch quotes. Each is a migration task.
- Map approvals. Write down who approves which discount, margin or term.
- Check templates. List every quote template, language and currency in use.
- Decide where billing lives. If CPQ feeds subscriptions, renewals or invoices, keep those jobs in scope.
- Pick a migration path. Salesforce’s four paths are a useful frame for any vendor. Cleaning the catalogue first cuts the rules you move.
- Pick a rollout. A bridge rollout avoids moving live subscriptions mid-term.
- Plan the data. Decide which historical quotes and contracts move and which stay in CPQ as history.
- Test with real deals. Rebuild your five hardest recent quotes in each shortlisted tool and compare totals line by line.
Our guide to CPQ and CRM integration covers the data mapping side in more depth.
Worked example: pricing the options for 40 quoting users
Tallow Ridge Software (fictional) has 40 reps quoting in Salesforce CPQ and a renewal in nine months. It sells annual licences, invoices from its ERP, and has about 60 product rules and three discount approval levels.

Because Tallow Ridge invoices from its ERP, Growth is its like-for-like Salesforce option. Its 60 product rules rule out pricing-table tools. The team renews CPQ for one year, rebuilds its five hardest quotes in three tools, and plans a bridge rollout. Your numbers will differ; the method is the point.
How do you choose a Salesforce CPQ alternative?
- Start with billing. If CPQ drives subscriptions and invoices, look at Revenue Cloud, DealHub, Subskribe or Zuora. If not, quoting tools and deal rooms are in play.
- Decide on the CRM first. Staying on Salesforce keeps Revenue Cloud, Conga Smart CPQ and Zuora CPQ close to your data. Moving to HubSpot opens Revenue Hub.
- Count your rules. Dozens of rules need a configuration engine; a handful fit in pricing tables.
- Price the whole contract. Ask about add-ons, integration and onboarding fees, minimum users and term. Several vendors here charge for the Salesforce integration separately.
- Do not rush. There is no end-of-life date and no forced migration, so your next renewal can buy planning time.
If you want quotes with approval guardrails inside a buyer room, book a Revspire demo and bring one of your real quotes.
Frequently asked questions
Is Salesforce CPQ being discontinued?
Not for existing customers. Salesforce calls it “end of sale, not end of life”: new customers cannot buy it, but current customers can renew, add users and get support. It gets no new features, and there is no end-of-life date.
How much does Salesforce CPQ cost?
Salesforce no longer lists a CPQ edition price. Its CPQ pricing address now shows Revenue Cloud: Growth at $150 and Advanced at $200 per user a month, billed annually, with Billing as a quoted add-on. Existing CPQ customers pay what their contract states.
What is the difference between Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud?
Salesforce CPQ is the older product, now in maintenance. Revenue Cloud is its successor family, with Growth for quoting and subscriptions and Advanced adding contracts, invoicing and AI. CPQ rules and scripts do not carry over directly.
How long does a Salesforce CPQ migration take?
Salesforce says 3 to 6 months from discovery to go-live for Revenue Cloud Advanced, longer for complex setups. Moving to another vendor needs similar planning, because rules and custom code are rebuilt either way.
What is the best Salesforce CPQ alternative?
It depends on billing and CRM. To stay on Salesforce, Revenue Cloud. For full quote-to-revenue, DealHub or Subskribe. For complex configuration, Conga. For quoting in HubSpot, Revenue Hub. For priced proposals inside a buyer room, GetAccept, PandaDoc or Revspire.
