Seismic Learning (Lessonly) Alternatives for Sales Training in 2026

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

The best Seismic Learning (Lessonly) alternatives in 2026 depend on what you need to replace. For a full readiness suite with AI role-play and certification, look at Allego, Mindtickle, SalesHood or Showpad. For AI practice alone, Hyperbound or Second Nature. For an LMS with published prices, Confirm Learn:Up. Highspot is now part of Seismic.

Lessonly has been part of Seismic since 2021 and its product is now sold as Seismic Learning, under Seismic’s Learning & Coaching capability. This guide confirms its current status with dated sources, compares ten replacements on practice, certification and price, and covers what to check and export before you leave.

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and sells one of the tools on it. Revspire has one entry. Tools are listed alphabetically in the table and grouped by type below. Capabilities and prices were checked on each vendor’s own website on 30 October 2026.

What happened to Lessonly?

Lessonly was a training, coaching and enablement tool. Three steps led to today’s product:

  • 16 August 2021: Seismic announced it had acquired Lessonly and closed a $170 million Series G round led by Permira. The announcement published by Permira (16 August 2021) said Lessonly had more than 1,200 customer companies.
  • Today’s naming: on 30 October 2026, lessonly.com redirects to Seismic’s Learning & Coaching page. That page’s description calls the product Seismic Learning, and Seismic’s homepage lists Learning & Coaching as a capability of the Seismic Enablement Cloud. Customer help lives in the Seismic Learning Help Center.
  • 18 August 2026: Seismic completed its merger with Highspot and the combined company operates as Seismic under CEO Rob Tarkoff (Highspot blog, 18 August 2026). See our Highspot and Seismic merger guide.

How is Seismic Learning packaged? Seismic publishes no prices, and its Enablement Cloud page lists no editions. Vendr’s Seismic pricing page (last updated February 2026) says Seismic Learning is priced separately, usually as a per-user fee added to the core enablement platform. It reports a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year across 415 purchases. More in our Seismic pricing guide.

Why do teams look for Seismic Learning alternatives?

Common reasons:

  • A renewal with a new shape. Seismic Learning may now be quoted as an add-on to Seismic’s platform. Ask which products, user counts and term the quote covers.
  • Two training products under one owner. Highspot’s pricing page sells training and role play from its Better plan and states that Highspot is part of Seismic. The merger post does not say which training product continues, so ask for the roadmap in writing.
  • More AI practice. Seismic’s Learning page names AI-powered role-plays, but teams that want practice at the centre also look at specialists.

For the whole category, see our guides to sales training platforms and the best sales readiness platforms. This page stays on the switch itself.

What to check before you leave Seismic Learning

Seismic Learning’s help articles describe five behaviours that shape a migration.

  • SCORM files do not copy with lessons. Add eLearning (SCORM) Files to Lessons (dated 17 August 2026) says duplicating a lesson copies only the Seismic Learning content. You can download the latest uploaded package from the lesson overview. The same article says eLearning analytics are per package, with no question-level scores.
  • SCORM export is not documented. The SCORM FAQs (dated 17 August 2026) cover importing packages, not exporting lessons as SCORM. Ask Seismic in writing which formats you can export.
  • Certifications are paths with badges. So says Copy Lessons, Paths, and Certifications (dated 17 August 2026). Map each to the new tool’s equivalent, including expiry rules.
  • Results export one lesson at a time. The Export Report (dated 17 August 2026) is a CSV per lesson with scores, completion dates and responses. It does not mention paths or certifications, so budget time for every lesson that matters.
  • Other features. The help centre also covers events, the Skills App and integrations. List the ones you use so vendors can show an equivalent.

Readiness and enablement suites

These replace Seismic Learning’s courses, practice and coaching, and add content management and usually buyer rooms.

Allego

  • What it does: Allego’s pricing page lists four product areas: learning with conversation intelligence, AI Role Play, content management and digital rooms. Role-play uses AI video avatars, managers score against rubrics, and certification paths and badges are included.
  • Pricing: not published; per user per month, billed annually upfront. Three-year terms are typical, with one- and two-year options, and AI and support are included.
  • Limitation: the pricing page does not mention SCORM, so ask how your Seismic Learning eLearning files would come across.
  • Choose it when: you want coaching, role-play, content and call insights from one vendor. Its Buyout Program offers migration help for teams under another contract, with no published terms.

Highspot by Seismic (stay with the same parent)

  • What it does: Highspot’s pricing page lists Good (content, sales plays, digital sales rooms), Better (adds training, practice and role play) and Best (adds coaching support and meeting intelligence).
  • Pricing: not published. Vendr reports a median Highspot contract of $60,005 a year across 351 purchases (Vendr, last updated February 2026).
  • Limitation: it is the same company that sells Seismic Learning, so the roadmap question remains, and certification is not listed for its sales plans.
  • Choose it when: you want to stay with Seismic and content management matters as much as training.

Mindtickle

  • What it does: Mindtickle’s homepage names sales training, AI Sales Role Play, coaching, a Readiness Index, content management, digital sales rooms and conversation intelligence. Its sales training page covers onboarding and assessments, and its certification page describes certification tiers and test-out options.
  • Pricing: not published; the site asks for a demo. Vendr reports a median of $44,356 a year across 65 purchases (Vendr, last updated February 2026).
  • Limitation: the pages we checked do not mention SCORM, so confirm how existing eLearning packages would be handled.
  • Choose it when: readiness scoring and certification are the centre of your programme.

Revspire

  • What it does: Revspire is an AI sales enablement platform. Its AI Sales Training & Coaching module offers AI video role-play of buyer conversations, deal-specific objection practice with battle cards, instant AI scoring for clarity, confidence and objection handling, team readiness tracking, and seller onboarding, training and certification without a separate LMS. Content Hub, the AI Playbook Engine and Digital Sales Rooms cover content, battlecards and buyer collaboration.
  • Pricing: priced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average (Revspire pricing). Training is sold as the Academy module, added to the Content Hub base platform.
  • Limitation: SCORM import and export are not among Revspire’s listed capabilities, so eLearning packages from Seismic Learning would need rebuilding or a separate LMS. Its Conversation Intelligence module is listed as coming soon.
  • Choose it when: you want practice tied to the approved content, battlecards and deal rooms reps use with buyers, at a cost that does not grow with headcount.

SalesHood

  • What it does: SalesHood’s homepage describes an AI-powered revenue enablement platform with content management, training and onboarding, AI coaching, AI role play, guided selling and digital sales rooms, and says sellers can prove readiness through certifications.
  • Pricing: not published; the pricing page lists Essential, Pro and Unlimited editions and asks you to build a package with its team.
  • Limitation: AI Pitch Practice and AI Role Play submissions are capped at 40 per licence on Essential and 80 on Pro, with no cap on Unlimited.
  • Choose it when: AI-scored pitch practice is your main need and you can size the edition to how often reps practise.

Showpad (owns Brainshark)

  • What it does: Showpad’s pricing page puts courses on the Professional plan and Roleplay AI, knowledge checks and certifications on Advanced. Its Brainshark page says Brainshark is now part of Showpad and lists SCORM import and export, video coaching and pitch certification with custom rubrics.
  • Pricing: not published; per user, Professional, Advanced and Expert plans by quote. Vendr reports a median Showpad contract of $34,875 a year across 50 purchases (Vendr, last updated February 2026).
  • Limitation: certifications and Roleplay AI start on the Advanced plan. The pages do not use the Showpad Coach name, so ask which product a quote covers.
  • Choose it when: your Seismic Learning catalogue relies on SCORM courses and you want a tool whose site documents both SCORM import and export.

Training, practice and in-app learning specialists

These replace one part of Seismic Learning, usually courses or practice.

Confirm Learn:Up (formerly WorkRamp)

  • What it does: Learn:Up is an AI-first LMS with structured onboarding paths, AI role plays and simulations, and video and written pitch certifications. Its FAQ lists SCORM support. Learning Pool announced its acquisition of WorkRamp on 15 October 2025.
  • Pricing: Learn:Up from $9 and Practice from $4 per user a month, billed annually and based on a 200-person company (Confirm pricing). Vendr’s WorkRamp median is $19,300 a year across 185 purchases (Vendr, last updated February 2026).
  • Limitation: Learn:Up and Practice are priced separately, so add both when comparing with a suite.
  • Choose it when: you used Seismic Learning mainly as an LMS for onboarding and certification and want published prices.

Hyperbound

  • What it does: Hyperbound Practice runs role-plays against AI buyers built around your ideal customer profiles and sales process, and Hyperbound Perform scores real calls against your methodology (Hyperbound). The homepage names onboarding and certification as use cases.
  • Pricing: not published. The pricing page names Free, Practice and Perform plans and says pricing is per user, with separate Practice and Perform licences.
  • Limitation: the homepage says it works alongside an LMS but does not mention SCORM, so courses stay in another system.
  • Choose it when: AI practice and scoring of real calls matter more than formal courses.

Second Nature

  • What it does: AI role plays for discovery, cold calls and objections, video avatars, gamified certification and AI coaching on live deals. The homepage says it connects to any LMS through SCORM or LTI.
  • Pricing: not published; pricing questions go to a demo request.
  • Limitation: with no prices or plan names published, you cannot estimate cost before a demo.
  • Choose it when: you want AI avatar practice and certification while keeping courses in an LMS you already run.

Spekit

  • What it does: Spekit’s pricing page describes its Just-in-Time Enablement package as covering sales training, onboarding and digital adoption, with dynamic learning paths and pass/fail knowledge checks. A GTM Acceleration package adds deal execution features.
  • Pricing: not published; per seat, quoted by package and team size.
  • Limitation: AI Role Play Practice is an add-on, not part of either package.
  • Choose it when: you used Seismic Learning mostly for short lessons and knowledge checks and want them alongside a knowledge and content system.

How do you migrate lessons and certifications off Seismic Learning?

A move has two parts: timing the contract and getting your training history out. Our sales enablement migration plan template has inventory, mapping and cutover sheets.

Contract timing

  • Find the dates. Renewal, notice period and auto-renewal terms; work back from the notice deadline.
  • Check how Learning is billed. If it sits on a platform contract, ask whether it can be dropped on its own.
  • Export early, while you still have admin rights.

What to export

Rebuild, do not copy

Practice scenarios and rubrics rarely move cleanly, because scoring differs by tool. Rebuild your five most-used scenarios as AI role-plays and pilot with one team. If role-play is new to you, see our guide to AI sales role-play software.

Illustrative example (ours): a 150-rep team renewing on 30 June with 90 days’ notice gives notice in March, exports reports and SCORM files in April, rebuilds its onboarding path in May and moves new hires first in June.

How we evaluated these tools

We started from what Seismic’s Learning page and help centre say the product does: lessons, paths and certifications, AI role-play, coaching and SCORM import. We picked vendors whose own sites describe at least two of those jobs, opened their product and pricing pages on 30 October 2026, and checked ownership changes against a press release or vendor post. Vendr medians appear only where Vendr gives a date and purchase count.

We did not run trials or use review scores. Confirm every figure in writing, and see our sales enablement software pricing guide for category pricing.

To see AI role-play built from your own objections next to governed content and deal rooms, book a Revspire demo. Replacing all of Seismic, not only Learning? Our Seismic alternatives page covers the full platform.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lessonly still available?

Not under that name. Seismic acquired Lessonly in August 2021, and lessonly.com now redirects to Seismic’s Learning & Coaching page. We found no published end-of-life date.

What is Lessonly called now?

Seismic Learning, sold under the Learning & Coaching capability of the Seismic Enablement Cloud. Its help site is the Seismic Learning Help Center.

Seismic Learning vs Mindtickle: which is better?

It depends on your programme. Seismic Learning documents detailed SCORM and eLearning support and sits inside Seismic’s content platform. Mindtickle leads with readiness scoring, certification tiers and AI role-play. Neither publishes prices.

Who are Lessonly’s main competitors?

In readiness and enablement suites: Allego, Highspot (now part of Seismic), Mindtickle, SalesHood and Showpad. In AI practice: Hyperbound and Second Nature. LMS-led options include Confirm Learn:Up, formerly WorkRamp, and Spekit for in-app learning.

Can I export my courses from Seismic Learning as SCORM?

Seismic Learning’s SCORM FAQs cover importing SCORM, xAPI, cmi5 and AICC packages but do not describe exporting lessons as SCORM. You can download the eLearning files you uploaded, and results export as a CSV per lesson. Ask Seismic in writing which other formats your contract allows.
