How does the Revspire Salesforce integration work?
Revspire connects to Salesforce in both directions. Accounts, contacts, opportunities, owners, stages, amounts and close dates sync into Revspire every 15 minutes; deal room activity, buyer views, content shares and enablement attribution flow back to Salesforce in near real time. Salesforce stays the system of record for the fields it owns.
| Data | Direction | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Accounts, contacts, opportunities and their owners | Salesforce to Revspire | Incremental sync every 15 minutes |
| Deal stage, amount (ACV), currency and close date | Salesforce to Revspire | Incremental sync every 15 minutes |
| Other CRM fields you map | Salesforce to Revspire | Incremental sync every 15 minutes |
| Deal room activity and buyer views | Revspire to Salesforce | Near real time |
| Content shares and other engagement events | Revspire to Salesforce | Near real time |
| Enablement attribution (content and rooms on each deal) | Revspire to Salesforce | Near real time |
What does Revspire read from Salesforce?
Revspire reads the records a deal is built on: accounts, contacts, opportunitys and their owners, plus deal stage, amount (ACV), currency and close date, and any other Salesforce fields you map. Changes sync incrementally every 15 minutes, so a deal room, a playbook or a report in Revspire always reflects the current stage and value.
Salesforce stays the system of record for the fields it owns. Revspire uses them to link deal rooms to the right opportunity, recommend content for the stage and report on deals, but it does not take over those values.
What does Revspire send back to Salesforce?
Revspire sends what buyers and sellers do with your content: deal room activity, buyer views, content shares and other engagement events, in near real time. It also sends enablement attribution, which content and deal rooms were used on each opportunity, so you can report on it next to pipeline and revenue in Salesforce.
This is the same join Revspire’s digital sales room benchmark is built on: closed opportunities synced from Salesforce or HubSpot, joined to the activity of the deal rooms linked to them. In that data, deals with an active deal room were won 35% of the time against 28% without one.
How does field mapping work?
Mapping is configurable for account, contact, opportunity, owner, stage, amount, currency, close date and activity fields. Map the fields your team actually uses, including custom ones, and Revspire reads them on the 15-minute sync. Activity fields carry engagement such as buyer views and content shares back to the opportunity.
What do reps see inside Salesforce?
A Revspire component sits on the Salesforce Opportunity page, so reps work on a deal without switching tabs. It has four tabs:
- Content: find Revspire content for the opportunity they are on.
- Request Content: ask the content team for an asset that does not exist yet.
- Deal Rooms: work with the deal rooms for that opportunity.
- Meeting Hub: open Revspire Meeting Hub for that opportunity.
How do you set up the Salesforce integration?
The Revspire Salesforce package ships with the sign-in pieces it needs, so setup is configuration, not development. The Academy guide has every value; the outline is:
Step 1: Create an OAuth connection in Revspire
An admin creates the connection in Revspire setup and copies its client ID and secret.
Step 2: Add the credentials to the packaged provider
The admin pastes them into the Revspire OAuth provider that the package installed in Salesforce, leaving the packaged endpoints as they are.
Step 3: Give users access
Assign the Revspire permission set to the users who should see Revspire in Salesforce.
Step 4: Add the component to the Opportunity page
Place the Revspire component on the Opportunity record page.
Step 5: Each user authorizes once
Every user signs in to Revspire from Salesforce one time (per-user OAuth), so Revspire works as that user.

Can AI agents update Salesforce through Revspire?
Yes, through the Salesforce bridge in the Revspire MCP server. An agent such as ChatGPT or Claude can read the Salesforce opportunity linked to a Revspire deal room and propose updates. Every change is shown as a preview and written to Salesforce only after an explicit confirmation, and only for CRM-linked deal rooms the user can edit. The MCP Salesforce Bridge Reference lists the fields and actions it supports.
Frequently asked questions
Does Revspire integrate with Salesforce?
Yes. Revspire syncs accounts, contacts, opportunities, owners, stages, amounts and close dates from Salesforce every 15 minutes, sends deal room activity, buyer views, content shares and enablement attribution back in near real time, and adds a Revspire component to the Opportunity page.
Do we need a developer to install it?
No. The Salesforce package includes the OAuth provider and credentials Revspire needs, so an admin configures it: create the connection in Revspire, paste its details into the packaged provider, assign the permission set and add the component to the Opportunity page. The Salesforce Connection guide has each step.
How often does Revspire sync with Salesforce?
CRM records sync incrementally every 15 minutes, so a change to a opportunity, its stage, amount or close date reaches Revspire within that window. Buyer engagement travels the other way in near real time: deal room views, content shares and other engagement events are sent to Salesforce as they happen.
Is the Salesforce integration two-way?
Yes. Accounts, contacts, opportunitys, owners, stages, amounts and close dates come into Revspire from Salesforce; deal room activity, buyer views, content shares, engagement events and enablement attribution go back to Salesforce.
Will Revspire overwrite data in Salesforce?
No. Salesforce stays the system of record for the fields it owns, such as stage, amount and close date. Revspire reads those fields and writes back engagement and attribution, so the two systems do not fight over the same value.
Can we choose which fields sync?
Yes. Field mapping is configurable for account, contact, opportunity, owner, stage, amount, currency, close date and activity fields, so you can match your own Salesforce setup, including custom fields you want available in Revspire.
Which other CRMs does Revspire connect to?
Besides Salesforce, the Revspire Academy has connection guides for HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive. See all integrations.
