How much does a sales training platform cost?

Sales training platform pricing is almost all quote-based: of 10 readiness and coaching vendors checked, only Confirm (formerly WorkRamp) publishes rates, from $9 per user a month. Vendr's February 2026 medians run from $19,300 (WorkRamp, 185 purchases) to $60,005 (Highspot, 351 purchases) a year.

Most sales training, readiness and coaching software is sold by quote. Of the 10 vendors below, Confirm publishes per-user starting rates for the former WorkRamp products, Allego publishes its pricing model without the rates, and the rest ask you to talk to sales. The outside data comes from Vendr, a software purchasing marketplace that publishes median contract values from its own transactions. We show a Vendr figure only when the page states both a date and a sample size.

Brainshark (Showpad Brainshark)Not publishedShowpad says Brainshark powers many of its readiness features and can still be bought standalone, with courses, video coaching and Roleplay AI. G2's August 2024 listing for Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) shows annual subscriptions priced by user count, marked "Contact Us".No dated benchmark
AllegoModel onlyPer user per month, billed annually upfront. Modern Learning + Conversation Intelligence and AI Role Play are two of its four bundles; AI and success services are included and three-year terms are typical (Allego pricing guide). No dated benchmark
SalesHoodNoEssential, Pro and Unlimited editions, quoted per license. AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice are capped at 40 submissions per license on Essential and 80 on Pro (SalesHood pricing guide). No dated benchmark
Gong EnableNoGong licenses per user plus a platform fee; Enable Essentials is added to the core Foundation license, and AI Trainer role play is listed only on Enable. Gong's chief product officer told VentureBeat in February 2026 that Enable costs "in the tens of dollars per seat per month" (Gong Enable pricing guide). No Enable-specific benchmark. Gong-wide: Vendr median $55,430 a year; range $11,502 to $203,598 (1,146 purchases, March 2026).
WorkRamp (Confirm Learn:Up)Starting pricesLearn:Up from $9 and Practice (AI role play) from $4 per user per month, billed annually and based on a 200-person company; Academy by quote (Confirm pricing; WorkRamp pricing guide).Vendr median $19,300 a year; range $4,990 to $69,154 (185 purchases, February 2026, before Confirm's current price list).
RevspireNo: quoted by salesPriced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average. Training, AI role play and certification are covered on its AI Sales Training & Coaching page (Revspire pricing). Not applicable
Vendor pages checked between 19 and 31 October 2026, as dated in the sources; SalesHood's submission caps were re-checked on 30 October 2026. "No dated benchmark" means we found no third-party price data that states both a date and a sample size. Revspire has one entry, and Revspire publishes this page.

Most of the Vendr figures above are whole-platform contracts. Highspot, Seismic and Showpad sell content management with their training, so their medians include both, and Mindtickle's includes whatever add-ons each buyer took. Only the WorkRamp figure comes from a product sold mainly as a learning system, and it predates the per-user prices Confirm now publishes. Vendr also shows medians for SalesHood and Bigtincan without a purchase count, so we leave them out.

Ownership matters on a multi-year training contract. Highspot has been part of Seismic since 18 August 2026, Bigtincan and its Brainshark product combined with Showpad under the Showpad brand on 30 October 2025, and WorkRamp's products are now sold by Confirm, which was Learning Pool until August 2026. Ask each vendor which product your renewal covers and whether it sits on a committed roadmap for the full term.

How do sales training platforms price as the team grows?

The pricing model decides what happens to the bill when you add reps, managers or partners to a training program. The vendors in this guide use five structures, often in combination:

Sales training and coaching pricing models and how each scales
ModelWho uses itWhat it means for the bill
Per user, by quoteHighspot and Seismic (per named user, according to Vendr), Showpad, Allego, SalesHood and Bigtincan Readiness.Every rep you train adds a license. Allego lists lower prices for channel, partner and non-revenue users, and Showpad mentions additional license types for adjacent teams without naming them.
Per user, with published starting ratesConfirm Learn:Up and Practice (formerly WorkRamp). The published figures are floors for a 200-person company. Confirm says price varies with the products, the scale of your workforce and the support required.
Platform fee plus seatsGong, with Enable added to the Foundation license.A base fee that depends on users supported, then per-user licenses; people without a seat join as free Collaborators with limited access.
Packages and modulesHighspot's Better package, Seismic Learning, Mindtickle's add-ons, Bigtincan's Readiness package and Allego's four bundles.Training can be a tier upgrade or a separate line, so the package you need moves the price as much as the seat count.
Usage capsSalesHood's AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice submissions.A certification program with retries can force the top edition whatever your headcount: 40 submissions per license on Essential, 80 on Pro.

Here is what that means at Confirm's published starting rates, before any discount, and assuming the floor holds at your headcount, which "Starting from" does not promise. Learn:Up for 200 users comes to $21,600 a year, and adding Practice at $4 brings the pair to $31,200. For 100 users the same rates give $10,800 and $15,600. No other vendor here publishes a per-user rate, so the same arithmetic is not possible for them until you hold a quote.

Gong is the only other vendor with a public per-seat signal, and it is a spoken one: its chief product officer described Enable as "in the tens of dollars per seat per month" in a February 2026 VentureBeat interview. Treat that as a direction to test against a quote. For AI role-play tools sold on their own, our AI sales role-play pricing guide compares 10 vendors.

Which sales training costs sit outside the license?

Licenses are only part of a training budget. Most figures below come from Vendr's dated vendor pages (February 2026), which rest on Vendr's own transactions and are not independently verified; the rest come from the vendors' own pages.

  • Implementation and program build. Vendr puts Mindtickle onboarding and implementation at $10,000 to $50,000 or more and content creation and consulting at $5,000 to $50,000 or more, and Highspot training and enablement services at $5,000 to $25,000. Allego includes implementation, key integrations and training in its Premium Success Services.
  • Tier jumps for practice. Highspot puts training and role play in its Better package, Showpad starts Roleplay AI, knowledge checks and certifications on Advanced, and Gong lists AI Trainer on Enable and not on Enable Essentials. A pilot scoped on the entry tier may not include the practice features at all.
  • Practice volume. SalesHood caps AI role-play and pitch-practice submissions at 40 per license on Essential and 80 on Pro. Count the attempts a certification with retries needs before you accept an edition.
  • Languages. SalesHood allows two languages on Essential and six on Pro, WorkRamp's help centre says Practice is fully supported in English only, and Gong's help centre lists AI Trainer sessions in 24 languages. A multi-region team should get language coverage written into the quote.
  • Support tiers. Vendr says Mindtickle's premium support costs 10 to 20% of annual contract value, while Allego says it never charges extra for support or AI.
  • Renewal escalators. Vendr reports annual increases of 3 to 7% as common at Highspot, Seismic and Mindtickle. Ask for the cap and the notice period in writing.

How to get a comparable sales training quote

This checklist uses only what the vendors and Vendr publish. Our business case template has a one-page structure for the approval that follows.

  • Ask for training as its own line. Highspot's Better package, Seismic Learning, Mindtickle's add-ons and Allego's bundles are each priced differently. A separate line lets you compare a suite's training cost with a standalone platform.
  • Count who really needs a license. Allego lists lower prices for partner and non-revenue users and Gong gives people without a seat free Collaborator access. Ask how managers who only review practice, and partners who only take courses, are licensed.
  • Size practice before choosing an edition. Work out how many role plays a rep will submit in a year, then check the number against SalesHood's caps or any limit in your quote.
  • Pilot before you sign. WorkRamp's help centre offers Learn:Up customers Practice free for up to 30 days, subject to eligibility, while Gong says Enable has no free trial. Ask the rest for a scoped pilot with a written success measure.
  • Protect against ownership changes. Highspot is now part of Seismic, Bigtincan and Brainshark part of Showpad, and WorkRamp part of Confirm. Get product support, packaging and price protection for the full term in writing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a sales training platform cost?

Where Vendr has dated data (February 2026), median annual contracts run from $19,300 for WorkRamp (185 purchases) through $44,356 for Mindtickle (65 purchases) to $60,005 for Highspot (351 purchases), though the Highspot figure covers its whole platform. Only Confirm, which now sells WorkRamp, publishes rates: Learn:Up from $9 per user per month, billed annually.

Which sales readiness platforms publish their prices?

Of the 10 vendors in this guide, only Confirm publishes prices, as per-user starting rates for Learn:Up and Practice. Allego publishes its pricing model without the rates. Highspot, Seismic, Mindtickle, Showpad, Bigtincan, Brainshark, SalesHood and Gong Enable quote through sales.

How much does sales coaching software cost per user?

Few vendors say. Confirm lists Practice, its AI role-play product, from $4 per user per month and Learn:Up from $9, both billed annually for a 200-person company. Gong's chief product officer has said Enable costs "in the tens of dollars per seat per month". Allego, Showpad, SalesHood and Seismic price per user without publishing the rate.

Is there a free sales training platform?

None of the suites here has a free plan. WorkRamp's help centre offers Learn:Up customers Practice free for up to 30 days, subject to eligibility, and Gong says Enable has no free trial. Some standalone AI role-play tools have free tiers; see the AI sales role-play pricing guide.

Is there sales training software that is not priced per user?

Not among the vendors here: each prices per user, or per user plus a platform fee in Gong's case. Revspire is priced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average, so adding reps to a training program does not add licenses.
