How much does AI sales role-play software cost?

AI sales role-play pricing is rarely published: of 10 vendors checked, only Yoodli ($8 and $20 a month for individuals) and Confirm Practice (from $4 per user a month) list paid prices. Second Nature's own G2 note puts its minimum average deal at 20K USD.

Most AI role-play software is sold by quote, whether it is a standalone trainer or a module inside an enablement suite. Of the 10 vendors below, two publish a paid price, two more publish only a free plan, and the rest send you to a demo. Dated third-party data is thin: the only figures with a sample size are Vendr medians for whole platforms that include role play among other things.

OutdooFree plan onlyFree plan with 60 minutes of role-play credits and unlimited team members; Growth is a "Custom quote by team size" and Enterprise is custom (Outdoo pricing). No dated benchmark
MindtickleNoNo pricing page or plans. Vendr treats the Core Readiness Platform, which includes AI role play, as the base, with Call AI and other add-ons (Mindtickle pricing guide).Whole platform: Vendr median $44,356 a year; range $11,157 to $138,726 (65 purchases, February 2026).
AllegoModel onlyAI Role Play is one of four bundles, priced per user per month and billed annually upfront; Allego says it never charges extra for AI, and three-year terms are typical (Allego pricing guide). No dated benchmark
Gong EnableNoAI Trainer voice role play is listed on Enable and not on Enable Essentials, both added to Gong's Foundation license, which is priced per user plus a platform fee (Gong Enable pricing guide). No Enable-specific benchmark. Gong-wide: Vendr median $55,430 a year; range $11,502 to $203,598 (1,146 purchases, March 2026).
SalesHoodNoEssential, Pro and Unlimited editions by quote. AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice are capped at 40 submissions per license on Essential and 80 on Pro, and unlimited only on Unlimited (SalesHood pricing guide). No dated benchmark
WorkRamp Practice (Confirm)Starting pricePractice from $4 or £3 per user per month, billed annually and based on a 200-person company. Learn:Up, from $9, also lists AI Simulations as a core feature, so ask whether you are quoted one line or two (WorkRamp pricing guide).WorkRamp-wide: Vendr median $19,300 a year (185 purchases, February 2026), before Confirm's current price list.
RevspireNo: quoted by salesPriced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average. AI role play, scoring and certification are covered on its AI Sales Training & Coaching page (Revspire pricing). Not applicable
Vendor pages checked between 19 and 31 October 2026, as dated in the sources; SalesHood's submission caps were re-checked on 30 October 2026 and Outdoo's pricing page was read on 26 October 2026. "No dated benchmark" means we found no third-party price data that states both a date and a sample size. Revspire has one entry, and Revspire publishes this page.

Two cautions on reading the table. The Vendr medians for Mindtickle, Gong and WorkRamp cover each whole platform, so they size the suite you would be buying with role play inside it. And Second Nature's 20K USD is the vendor's own description of an average minimum on G2, last updated in November 2025; it does not say whether that is a hard floor, so ask.

Some role-play figures quoted online come from competitors' blogs or from review sites without a date or a sample. We leave them out. For Second Nature in particular, our Second Nature pricing guide sets out every public claim and who made it.

Seats, sessions or submissions: what is the meter?

AI role play is metered in more ways than most enablement software, and the meter decides whether a busy certification month raises the bill. These are the structures on the vendors' own pages:

AI sales role-play pricing models and what each one meters
MeterWho uses itWhat it means for the bill
Per userConfirm Practice, Allego's AI Role Play bundle, Yoodli Business and Enterprise (per seat), and Gong (per user plus a platform fee).Every rep who practices needs a license. Gong gives people without a seat free Collaborator access with limited features.
Sessions on individual plansYoodli Starter (5 lifetime roleplays) and Pro (up to 10 a week); unlimited practice starts on Advanced.A rep practicing daily outgrows Pro, so the plan follows practice habits more than headcount.
Credits or minutesOutdoo's free plan, measured in 60 minutes of role-play credits. The free tier runs out by usage. Paid Growth and Enterprise plans are quoted.
Submissions per licenseSalesHood: 40 on Essential, 80 on Pro, unlimited on Unlimited.Certification with retries consumes the cap quickly, and running out is an edition change.
Tier or bundle inside a suiteMindtickle's Core Readiness Platform, Allego's bundles, Gong Enable, Highspot's Better package and Showpad's Advanced plan.Role play arrives with a wider package, so the price reflects training, content or coaching features you may not need.
Minimum deal sizeSecond Nature, whose G2 note gives a minimum average deal of 20K USD.A small team may pay the floor whatever its headcount.

Here is what the published rates give before discounts. Confirm Practice at its $4 starting rate costs $9,600 a year for 200 users, the basis its page uses, though "Starting from" does not promise that rate at your headcount. Yoodli's individual plans come to $96 a year for Pro and $240 for Advanced, billed annually, but they are for one person; a sales team buys Business or Enterprise, which Yoodli quotes per seat.

Inside the suites, role play is rarely priced on its own. If Highspot, Showpad, Mindtickle or Allego is already on your shortlist for training or content, ask for the role-play feature as a separate line so you can set it against a standalone tool. Our sales training platform pricing guide covers the suites in more depth.

Which AI role-play tools have a free tier or trial?

Three of the 10 have a free plan, each capped. Yoodli's Starter tier allows five roleplays in total, Hyperbound's Free plan gives 45 prebuilt AI role plays and example scorecards without stating a time limit, and Outdoo's free plan includes 60 minutes of role-play credits with unlimited team members. WorkRamp's help centre offers Learn:Up customers Practice with full access free for up to 30 days, subject to eligibility.

The suites are less open. Gong says Enable has no free trial, and Mindtickle's homepage has a "Try AI Role Play" entry point without describing what it includes. For the others, ask for a scoped pilot with a written success measure.

What else changes the cost of AI role play?

The license is the visible part. These conditions on the vendors' own pages, and in Vendr's dated data, change what a role-play program really costs.

  • Languages. WorkRamp's help centre says Practice is fully supported in English only, SalesHood allows two languages on Essential and six on Pro, and Gong's help centre lists AI Trainer in 24 languages. A multi-region team should get language coverage written into the quote.
  • Data use. Yoodli's pricing page says Advanced is the lowest individual plan that excludes your roleplay data from AI training. Ask every vendor how recordings are stored and whether they train models.
  • Scenario building. Vendr puts Mindtickle content creation and consulting at $5,000 to $50,000 or more (February 2026). Writing scenarios, personas and scorecards is the work that makes role play useful, so ask who does it and at what price.
  • Practice caps. SalesHood's 40 and 80 submissions per license and Yoodli Pro's 10 roleplays a week are hard limits. Count the attempts a certification with retries needs.
  • Tier gating. Gong lists AI Trainer only on Enable, Showpad starts Roleplay AI on Advanced and Highspot puts role play in Better. A pilot on the entry tier may not include role play at all.
  • Two lines for one feature. Confirm lists AI Simulations inside Learn:Up and sells Practice separately. Ask what each covers before you pay for both.

How to compare AI role-play quotes

Role-play vendors quote on very different meters, so the first job is putting them on the same one. This checklist uses only what the vendors publish.

  • Agree the unit. Ask each vendor whether it charges per licensed user, per active user, per session, per minute or per submission, and how it defines the unit.
  • Model a real program. Price the same scenario count, reps, certification rounds and retries with every vendor, then compare annual totals.
  • Ask about minimums. Second Nature's G2 note describes a minimum average deal of 20K USD, and Confirm's rates assume a 200-person company. Ask what changes for a smaller team.
  • Run a pilot first. Use a free tier where one exists, or ask for a scoped pilot with a written success measure and the full-rollout price agreed up front.
  • Get data and language terms in writing. Confirm the languages your contract covers and whether practice recordings are used to train models, before the first rep logs in.

Frequently asked questions

Hyperbound and Outdoo publish free plans without paid prices, and Allego publishes its per-user model without rates. Second Nature, Quantified, Mindtickle, Gong Enable and SalesHood publish no prices.

Is there free AI role-play software for sales?

Yes, with limits. Yoodli's Starter tier allows five roleplays in total, Hyperbound's Free plan includes 45 prebuilt AI role plays, and Outdoo's free plan gives 60 minutes of role-play credits with unlimited team members. WorkRamp offers Learn:Up customers Practice free for up to 30 days, subject to eligibility.

How much does Second Nature cost?

Do enablement suites charge extra for AI role play?

It depends on the suite. Allego says it never charges extra for AI, though AI Role Play is one of its four bundles. Gong lists AI Trainer on Enable and not on Enable Essentials, Showpad starts Roleplay AI on its Advanced plan, Highspot puts role play in its Better package, and SalesHood caps submissions below its Unlimited edition.

Is there AI role-play software that is not priced per user?

Partly. Yoodli's individual plans are priced per person, Outdoo's free plan by minutes of credits, and Second Nature describes a minimum deal size. Revspire is priced by module with unlimited user licenses; about $25,000 USD a year on average.
