Does Avoma publish its prices?

Avoma pricing is published per "recorder" seat per month: Startup $19, Organization $29 and Enterprise $39 billed annually; Startup and Organization cost $29 and $39 billed monthly. Viewers and collaborators are free, and three add-ons cost $29, $29 and $19.

Yes, for all three plans and both billing terms. Avoma's pricing page, headed "Fair, flexible, and affordable pricing without compromising advanced value", prices every card "Per 'recorder' seat per month." With the annual toggle selected on 21 October 2026, Startup reads $19, Organization $29 and Enterprise $39; with the monthly toggle, Startup reads $29 and Organization $39. Enterprise is the exception: its card reads "Billed annually only. Viewers are free.", where the other two read "Billed annually. Viewers are free." The billing toggle is labelled "Save Up To 33%", and on the cards the annual rate is $10 per seat per month below the monthly rate on both Startup and Organization.

The page shows only a dollar sign, never a currency code, and it does not say whether annual plans are paid upfront or in monthly instalments. There is no platform fee and no setup fee on the page. The important thing to read twice is what is in a plan and what is not: conversation intelligence and revenue intelligence are sold as add-ons, not as tiers, so the plan price is a floor rather than a total for teams that want call scoring or forecasting.

What do Avoma's three plans include?

Each card is the one before it plus a layer, and each is priced per recording seat with free viewers on top:

Avoma plans as its pricing page shows them with both billing toggles, checked 21 October 2026
PlanPer "recorder" seat per monthWhat the card says
Startup$19 annually, $29 monthly"Unlimited AI Meeting Assistant and 1:1 Scheduler for small teams." Up to 25 Paid Seats, Unlimited Free View-only Seats, Unlimited 1:1 Scheduling, Automatic Video Recording, Unlimited Real-time Transcription, Unlimited AI Summary Notes, "Ask Avoma" for a Meeting, AI Email Follow-ups, Auto Save Notes to CRM Records, Dialer Integration
Organization$29 annually, $39 monthly"Custom AI Notes and Group Scheduler for growing organizations." Everything in Startup plus Up to 100 Paid Seats, Custom AI Topics & Templates, Group and Round-robin Scheduling, Limited Conversation Intelligence, Smart Playlist & AI Automations, Translate Transcription & Notes
Enterprise$39, "Billed annually only.""Strict compliance and advanced access controls for enterprises." Everything in Organization plus Quarterly Business Reviews

Two details on those cards decide which plan a team can actually use. The paid-seat caps are published - up to 25 on Startup and up to 100 on Organization - and the page does not say what applies above them, so a team heading past either number should ask. And Organization's conversation intelligence is listed as "Limited Conversation Intelligence" without the limit being stated, which is the line to get in writing if call scoring is the reason you are buying.

Avoma's own help centre uses a different set of names, which is worth knowing before you compare a quote with the website. Its undated pricing article lists five licence types with no prices at all - Basic, Starter, Plus, Business and Enterprise - and sets seat minimums of 1 for Starter, 3 for Business and 10 for Enterprise. By its description, Basic is for non-revenue teams and caps recorded minutes at 300; Starter adds up to 40 meetings per user a month of up to 60 minutes each, a custom bot name and a 2,400-minute recording limit; Plus adds unlimited meetings, CRM and dialer integration including Salesforce and AI-generated chapters; Business adds round-robin and advanced lead routing, AI call scoring, advanced insights, deal risk alerts, forecasting and pipeline review; and Enterprise adds implementation support, custom data retention and customised analytics. No Avoma page maps those five licences onto the Startup, Organization and Enterprise cards, so ask which licence a quoted price buys.

What do Avoma's add-ons cost?

This is the part of Avoma's pricing most comparisons get wrong. Conversation intelligence and revenue intelligence are not plan names: they are add-ons listed under the plan cards, each priced "Per seat per month. Billed annually."

Avoma add-ons as the pricing page lists them, checked 21 October 2026
Add-onPer seat per monthBilling as labelled
Conversation Intelligence$29"Billed annually."
Revenue Intelligence$29"Billed annually."
Lead Router$19"Billed annually."

So the features a conversation intelligence buyer is shopping for - call scoring, talk-pattern analysis, deal risk and forecasting - sit beside the plan rather than inside it. On Avoma's homepage, the conversation intelligence module is listed as "Live Answer Assistant, AI Call Scoring, Talk-pattern Insights, Custom Smart Trackers, Activity & Engagement Insights" and the revenue intelligence module as "Deal & Churn Risk Alerts, AI Sales Methodology Scoring, Pipeline Review & CRM Updates, Forecasting & Reports, AI Win-Loss Analysis". A team that wants both buys a plan plus two $29 add-ons, which more than doubles the Organization rate. All three add-ons are shown with annual billing only; whether they can be bought monthly is not stated on the page.

Who needs a paid Avoma seat?

Only the people whose meetings are recorded. The pricing page puts it in two lines - "Only pay for meeting recorder users" and "Viewers and Collaborators are always free" - and every plan card repeats "Viewers are free." Startup also lists "Unlimited Free View-only Seats" among its features. That is Avoma's main pricing idea, and it changes how you count: managers, enablement staff, customer success and executives who watch recordings, read notes and comment do not consume a paid seat. Count the reps and CSMs who run recorded meetings, and nobody else.

With no platform fee on the page, the arithmetic is that head count times the plan rate. Ten recorder seats on Organization billed annually come to 10 x $29 x 12 = $3,480 a year. The same ten billed monthly are 10 x $39 x 12 = $4,680 a year, so the annual term is $1,200 cheaper. Ten Startup seats are $2,280 a year billed annually and $3,480 billed monthly; ten Enterprise seats are $4,680 a year, and Enterprise offers no monthly option. Twenty-five Organization seats are $8,700 a year billed annually and $11,700 billed monthly.

Then add the add-ons, which are priced per seat in the same way. Conversation Intelligence for those same ten Organization seats is another 10 x $29 x 12 = $3,480 a year, taking the bill from $3,480 to $6,960. All three add-ons for ten seats come to 10 x ($29 + $29 + $19) x 12 = $9,240 a year on top of the plan, or $12,720 in total. The add-ons are what make Avoma's published floor and a real quote diverge, so price the feature list you need rather than the headline rate.

What does the free trial include?

Fourteen days of the middle plan with nothing switched off. The pricing page states a "Free 14-day trial of the Organization plan" and an "Unrestricted trial with all Add-ons enabled", which means the trial shows you the conversation and revenue intelligence features you would otherwise pay $29 each for. Avoma's enterprise page describes the same length as "Try Avoma unrestricted for 14 days." with "No Credit Card required."

Because the trial runs on Organization with the add-ons on, the end of it is the moment the real decision happens: a team that liked call scoring is choosing between dropping it and paying for it. Use the fourteen days to work out how many people genuinely need to record, since that is the only number on the bill, and ask what an account can and cannot do once the trial ends - the pricing page does not say.

What do Avoma's AI agents add to a quote?

Nothing the pricing page prices. Avoma's agentic AI platform page, headed "Keep revenue moving between human decisions", names a Revenue AI Agent and an Avoma AI Agent and lists ten pre-built agent templates: note-taking, CRM entry, follow up, sequence, roleplay, coaching, battle card, win-loss analysis, forecasting and risk detector. Agents are scoped as personal, able to reach every meeting that person can access including private ones, or cross-team, limited to organisation-wide and publicly visible meetings. The page states no prices, names no plan and does not say whether agent runs are metered.

The modules those agents sit on are set out on Avoma's homepage: AI Meeting Assistant, Scheduler & Lead Router, Conversation Intelligence, Revenue Intelligence and an Agentic Platform marked "New" holding Ask Avoma, MCP and an API Platform. Since two of those modules are the paid add-ons, the agent question is really an add-on question: ask which of the forecasting, risk detector and coaching agents need the Revenue Intelligence or Conversation Intelligence add-on, and whether agent use is capped. The plan cards themselves name only one agent-style feature, "Ask Avoma" for a Meeting on Startup.

What do teams actually pay for Avoma?

Vendr says the "Median buyer pays $23,112 per year" for Avoma, with a range of $12,471 to $35,154 and "Last updated: February 2026". Two caveats: the page gives no purchase count, so the sample size behind the median is unknown, and its header labels the same figure "Avg Contract Value" while the body calls it a median. These are Vendr estimates from purchase data, not Avoma prices.

Against the published rates, that median is a long way above a bare plan. At $29 per seat a month billed annually, $23,112 is roughly 66 Organization seats; at Organization plus all three add-ons, about $1,272 per seat a year, it is roughly 18 seats. So the typical Vendr buyer is either large or buying the intelligence add-ons, which is the most useful thing that figure tells you. Vendr also uses three tier names of its own - "Avoma uses a per-user, per-month pricing model with three primary tiers: Starter, Plus, and Business" - which are not the names on Avoma's pricing page, and the list figures it quotes do not match the page either, so treat Vendr as a guide to contract totals and negotiation rather than to list prices.

On negotiation, Vendr reports what it sees in its dataset: 15-25% better pricing on annual than monthly contracts, a further 10-20% on two- to three-year terms, 20-35% off list for buyers committing 25 or more seats upfront, and 5-15% more for buyers evaluating Gong, Chorus.ai or Fireflies. Vendr says these are observed outcomes, not guarantees. For the quote-based alternatives in the same category, see our ZoomInfo Chorus pricing and Gong pricing guides, and the ZoomInfo Chorus vs Avoma comparison.

What does Avoma say about security and consent?

Avoma's enterprise page states its compliance position as "Avoma supports key standards such as SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, EU-US DPF, and CPRA, as well as SSL encryption." It names no ISO certification there, and lists no retention schedule or single sign-on detail, although the help centre puts custom data retention on its Enterprise licence and the Enterprise card is described as "Strict compliance and advanced access controls for enterprises." Those are Avoma's own statements; ask for the current reports and a sub-processor list during procurement.

Recording consent is handled as a product feature rather than a contract term. Avoma says it offers organisation-wide policies that "Enforce Enterprise-grade recording compliance with automated consent policies and permission modes", requiring explicit permission before recording begins, and that if a participant declines the meeting is not recorded. Which plan carries those controls is not stated on the pricing page, so if consent enforcement is a requirement in your markets, confirm the plan it needs before you compare prices. Avoma is private and venture-backed: it says it raised "$12M in Series A funding" led by Headline with Storm Ventures, Global Founder Capital, Zoom Apps Fund, Operator Partners and Industry Ventures (Avoma); that post is undated and refers to growth "in 2022 and beyond", and we found no later round.

What should you ask Avoma before signing?

  • How many people genuinely need a recorder seat, and is everyone else set up as a free viewer or collaborator?
  • Does the quote include the Conversation Intelligence or Revenue Intelligence add-on at $29 per seat a month, or only the plan?
  • What exactly is limited about Organization's "Limited Conversation Intelligence", and what does the full add-on add?
  • What happens above the published caps of 25 paid seats on Startup and 100 on Organization?
  • Is the annual price paid upfront or monthly, and can the add-ons be bought monthly at all?
  • Which licence does the quote name - a Startup, Organization or Enterprise plan, or one of the help centre's Basic, Starter, Plus, Business and Enterprise licences?
  • Which plan carries the consent and permission controls, what is the retention period, and is call content used to train models?
  • What is the renewal uplift, and what happens to recordings, transcripts and scorecards if we leave?

Frequently asked questions

How much does Avoma cost?

Avoma publishes three plans priced per "recorder" seat per month. Billed annually they read $19 for Startup, $29 for Organization and $39 for Enterprise; billed monthly, Startup is $29 and Organization $39, and Enterprise is annual only. Add-ons are $29 for Conversation Intelligence, $29 for Revenue Intelligence and $19 for Lead Router. Prices checked 21 October 2026.

Do you pay for everyone who joins an Avoma meeting?

No. Avoma's pricing page says "Only pay for meeting recorder users" and "Viewers and Collaborators are always free", and every plan card repeats "Viewers are free." Startup lists "Unlimited Free View-only Seats". So count only the people who run recorded meetings; reviewers, coaches and executives cost nothing.

Are conversation intelligence and forecasting included in an Avoma plan?

No. On the pricing page both are add-ons at $29 per seat per month, billed annually: Conversation Intelligence and Revenue Intelligence. The Organization plan includes "Limited Conversation Intelligence" without saying what the limit is, and a Lead Router add-on is $19 per seat per month.

Does Avoma have a free trial?

Yes. The pricing page offers a "Free 14-day trial of the Organization plan" and describes it as an "Unrestricted trial with all Add-ons enabled", so the paid intelligence features are included for those 14 days. Avoma's enterprise page adds "No Credit Card required." What an account can do after the trial is not stated.

Why do Avoma's plan names differ from its help centre?

Avoma's pricing page names three plans - Startup, Organization and Enterprise - while its undated help-centre article lists five licences with no prices: Basic, Starter, Plus, Business and Enterprise. No Avoma page maps one set to the other, and Vendr uses a third set of names, so ask which licence your quote covers.

Is Avoma cheaper than Gong or ZoomInfo Chorus?

Avoma publishes prices and the others do not, so only the models can be compared directly. Vendr reports a median Avoma contract of $23,112 a year (last updated February 2026, no purchase count shown) against $55,359 for Gong (1,145 purchases, March 2026) and $33,500 for ZoomInfo (1,577 purchases, February 2026). Those are Vendr estimates.
