9 Best Sales Onboarding Software in 2026
A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.
Sales onboarding software gets new sellers productive faster: it assigns role-based learning paths, checks knowledge with quizzes and certifications, and lets reps rehearse calls before meeting buyers. The best sales onboarding software in 2026 includes Allego, Highspot, Mindtickle, Revspire, SalesHood and Seismic Learning, plus Spekit for in-workflow guidance and Learn:Up or Trainual for general training.
Each tool below is described from its own product and pricing pages, with one limitation and when to choose it. This list covers onboarding new sales hires, not customers.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and is one of the tools on it. Tools are grouped by type, with each vendor’s own published information checked on 19 October 2026. Within each group they are listed alphabetically; the order is not a ranking.
What is sales onboarding software?
Sales onboarding software is the system an enablement team uses to turn a new hire into a rep who can run a first call, a demo and a deal on their own. Unlike an HR onboarding tool, it teaches selling (product, personas, methodology, objections) and tests whether the rep can apply it. Our glossary entry on sales onboarding covers the programme side; this page covers the software.
A typical tool does five jobs:
- Enrols each hire in a path for their role (SDR, AE, solutions engineer).
- Teaches through courses, microlearning and the content reps will send to buyers.
- Checks knowledge with quizzes and skills with scored pitches or AI role-play, ending in a certification.
- Involves managers through review queues, scorecards and coaching tasks.
- Reports readiness by rep and cohort, in some tools linked to pipeline and quota data.
Ramp time is the reason buyers care. The Bridge Group’s 2026 AE Models, Motions & Metrics report (158 B2B companies, published 22 June 2026) puts average AE ramp at 6.2 months, the highest in the study’s history, and its 2025 SDR report (351 companies, published 6 February 2025) puts SDR ramp at 3.0 months. More figures are in our sales onboarding and ramp statistics.
How to choose sales onboarding software
Write the programme before you compare tools: milestones by week, what each role must show, and who signs off. Our sales onboarding plan template gives you that structure. Then score each tool on these criteria:
- Role-based paths and enrolment: can a new AE or SDR be enrolled in the right path automatically on day one?
- Practice and certification: can a path end in a scored pitch or role-play, not only a quiz?
- Content connection: are courses built from the same governed content reps use in deals, so updates reach both?
- Manager workflow: do managers get review queues, scorecards and coaching prompts, or only completion reports?
- Ramp measurement: does it track milestones such as first certification, first call and first opportunity, or only completions?
- Interoperability: SCORM import for existing courses, CRM and HRIS connections, single sign-on.
- Commercial terms: which package includes training, any caps on AI practice, contract length and partner pricing.

Sales enablement platforms with onboarding built in
These platforms run onboarding in the same system sellers later use for content, plays and coaching. Choose from this group when onboarding is one part of a wider enablement programme rather than a standalone course catalogue.
Allego
Allego sells content management, learning, AI role-play and coaching, digital sales rooms and conversation intelligence as products on one platform.
- Standout capabilities: Modern Learning (modified 21 August 2026) uses AI to turn existing material into programmes with courses, reinforcement and reminders, with mobile and offline access and skills dashboards by role or team. AI Role Play & Coaching (modified 12 June 2026) adds unscripted simulations scored against shared rubrics.
- Pricing: per user per month, billed annually upfront; typical term three years, with two- and one-year options; lower list price for channel and partner users; no figures (Allego pricing, modified 7 June 2026, checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the pricing page lists learning and AI role-play as separate products, so confirm which ones a quote covers.
- Choose it if: your new hires sell in the field or through partners and need training that works on a phone, offline.
Highspot by Seismic
Highspot’s sales training product sits inside its enablement platform; the product page states that Highspot is part of Seismic.
- Standout capabilities: role-specific paths for new hires, adaptive learning that lets reps test out of what they know, AI-assisted authoring, blended and on-demand formats, SCORM import, custom certifications, AI role-play tied to deal context and training inside Salesforce (Highspot sales training, modified 13 July 2026).
- Pricing: Good, Better and Best packages, no prices. Training starts at Better (“Train and practice”); Best adds coaching analytics and meeting intelligence (Highspot pricing, modified 7 August 2026, checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the Good package lists no courses or role-play, only AI-generated knowledge checks.
- Choose it if: onboarding paths should sit next to the content and plays new reps will use. Seismic’s merger page says all products will continue to be supported; ask how Highspot training and Seismic Learning will relate.
Mindtickle
Mindtickle describes itself as an AI-powered revenue enablement platform, with training, coaching, content, digital sales rooms and conversation intelligence on one platform (Mindtickle).
- Standout capabilities: tailored onboarding programmes, microlearning, knowledge tests, AI that turns documents into videos and podcasts, AI translation and CRM and HRIS integrations (Mindtickle sales training). New hires rehearse with AI buyers, and certification can be automated against scores you set (AI role-play). The Readiness Index compares each rep with an Ideal Rep Profile and links skills to CRM data such as quota attainment.
- Pricing: not published; the site offers demo requests and its navigation has no pricing page (checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the training page does not mention SCORM import or LMS interoperability, so ask how existing courses move across.
- Choose it if: you want onboarding judged against a defined standard of a ready rep, not only course completion.
Revspire
Revspire’s AI Sales Training & Coaching module shares a platform with its Content Hub, AI Playbook Engine and Digital Sales Rooms, so new hires practise with the battlecards and objections used in current deals.
- Standout capabilities: AI video role-play of buyer conversations; deal-specific objection practice with battlecards; instant AI scoring for clarity, confidence and objection handling; readiness and competency analysis; reinforcement and manager coaching; team readiness tracking. The Content Hub gives new reps one governed place for approved content, and the Partner Portal add-on extends training and certifications to partners.
- Pricing: priced per module rather than per seat, with unlimited user licenses; Content Hub is the base module, with training and certification sold as the Academy module. Pricing is quoted by sales.
- Limitation: conversation intelligence is listed as coming soon, so reviewing new hires’ real calls needs a separate tool for now.
- Choose it if: new reps should be certified on the objections, competitors and content of your live pipeline.
SalesHood
SalesHood is a sales enablement platform with training and onboarding, AI practice and coaching, and digital sales rooms.
- Standout capabilities: an AI Program Builder that turns existing content into onboarding and certification programmes; onboarding paths with milestones and practice; AI role-play and pitch practice; assessments and certifications; readiness analytics (SalesHood Training & Onboarding, modified 1 September 2026).
- Pricing: Essential, Pro and Unlimited editions, quoted on request with no prices. Essential includes Training & Onboarding with 10 learning paths and 10 AI role-play submissions per licence; Pro raises role-play to 80 and adds AI coaching and digital sales rooms; Unlimited removes the caps (SalesHood pricing, modified 4 September 2026, checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: AI role-play and pitch practice are capped per licence on Essential and Pro, which matters when a cohort practises daily.
- Choose it if: you want onboarding and AI practice with usage allowances written into each plan.
Seismic Learning
Seismic Learning is the training product of Seismic’s Enablement Cloud. Seismic still runs a login page for Lessonly accounts that routes legacy Lessonly customers and Seismic Learning customers to their own help resources.
- Standout capabilities: interactive online courses, AI role-plays of customer scenarios, microlearning, AI coaching plans that highlight knowledge gaps, AI-driven assessments, mobile access and integrations with LMS, CRM and content-authoring tools (Seismic Learning). Seismic’s onboarding use-case page adds personalised learning paths with role-specific content.
- Pricing: not published; the pages offer a demo (checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the Seismic Learning page does not mention certifications.
- Choose it if: your sales content already lives in Seismic and you want onboarding to draw on it.
In-workflow onboarding
This approach puts training where reps already work, in the CRM, inbox and browser, instead of a separate portal.
Spekit
Spekit calls itself an AI-native revenue enablement platform built for in-workflow execution, delivered through a Chrome extension, a native two-way Salesforce integration and Slack (Spekit).
- Standout capabilities: learning paths built from the same governed content as its knowledge base, Sidekick assistant and deal rooms, so editing the source updates every path; AI-generated knowledge checks; automatic assignment to new hires by role or team; knowledge-gap reporting; delivery inside Salesforce, Gmail and LinkedIn through the extension (Spekit Learning Paths).
- Pricing: not published; the site offers a demo request (checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the pages we checked describe knowledge checks but no scored AI role-play, so ask how new hires’ talk tracks are assessed.
- Choose it if: your processes or products change often and new reps need answers inside Salesforce more than a course catalogue.
General training platforms used for sales onboarding
These are learning platforms for a whole company. Sales onboarding is one use among several, so they suit teams that want one system for every department, and they do not include sales content management or buyer-facing tools.
Confirm Learn:Up (formerly WorkRamp)
Learning Pool announced it had acquired WorkRamp on 15 October 2025, saying WorkRamp would continue as a core product (announcement). Learning Pool then rebranded as Confirm on 10 August 2026 (Learning Pool release via Training Industry, 10 August 2026). The WorkRamp pages we opened now redirect to confirm.com, where the LMS is sold as Learn:Up, labelled “formerly WorkRamp” (checked 19 October 2026).
- Standout capabilities: onboarding paths; AI role-plays and simulations with feedback; video and written pitch certifications; AI Assist course drafting from uploaded files; skills mapping; SCORM import; integrations including Salesforce, Slack and Okta (Learn:Up, modified 25 August 2026).
- Pricing: from $9 per user per month, billed annually, based on a 200-person company; Practice (AI simulations) from $4 per user per month (Confirm pricing, modified 7 October 2026, checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: it is a general LMS; the product page describes no sales content management or buyer-facing tools.
- Choose it if: you want one learning vendor for employee and sales training, with Academy for customers and partners, and published entry pricing.
Trainual
Trainual combines training, knowledge management and operations documentation, and says it is best suited to companies with 25 to 1,000 employees (Trainual FAQs).
- Standout capabilities: documentation and SOPs, onboarding and training paths, tests with tracking and reporting, AI-assisted documentation and AI knowledge search, HRIS and payroll integrations such as Gusto and BambooHR, single sign-on and Zapier.
- Pricing: Core, Pro, Premium and Enterprise plans; the page shows no dollar prices and says pricing varies with team size and features. A one-time $1,000 fee applies to dedicated implementation support (Trainual pricing, checked 19 October 2026).
- Limitation: the FAQ names no CRM integration and no role-play, so sales-specific practice needs another tool.
- Choose it if: sales is one of several teams you need to onboard and the main gap is written processes, not selling skills.
Which sales onboarding tool fits which team?
Your situation
Start your shortlist with
Enterprise, large hiring cohorts, certification required before first customer call
Mindtickle, Highspot by Seismic, Allego
Sales content already in Seismic
Seismic Learning
Field, retail or channel sellers who learn on mobile, sometimes offline
Allego
Mid-market team that wants AI practice with stated allowances
SalesHood
Reps live in Salesforce and the product changes monthly
Spekit
New reps must rehearse current-deal objections, and content, playbooks and deal rooms should sit in the same platform
Revspire
One learning vendor for employees, customers and partners
Confirm Learn:Up
Company of 25 to 1,000 people documenting processes for every team
Trainual
SDR ramp is about half as long as AE ramp in the Bridge Group figures (its 2025 SDR and 2026 AE studies), so for SDR cohorts weight practice volume and call review more heavily; the SDR onboarding plan template lays out a typical sequence.
Frequently asked questions
Which sales onboarding software is best?
It depends on what onboarding has to prove. If reps must be certified before their first customer call, enablement platforms with scored practice and readiness reporting (Mindtickle, Highspot by Seismic, Allego, SalesHood, Revspire) are the usual shortlist. If the main need is answers inside the CRM, Spekit fits; if you want one LMS for the whole company, look at Learn:Up or Trainual.
What is the difference between sales onboarding and sales training?
Sales onboarding is the first programme a new hire completes, ending when they can sell on their own. Sales training is continuous: product launches, methodology refreshers and skill development for every rep. Most tools on this list handle both; for platforms chosen mainly for ongoing training, see our guide to the best sales training platforms.
Do you need an LMS for sales onboarding?
Not necessarily. Enablement platforms such as Highspot, Mindtickle and SalesHood include learning paths, quizzes and certifications, and Spekit says its learning paths need no separate LMS. Many companies keep a corporate LMS for compliance and HR training; if you do, check for SCORM import (Highspot, Learn:Up) so existing courses can move across.
How long should sales onboarding take?
Plan for months, not weeks. The Bridge Group’s 2026 study reports average AE ramp of 6.2 months and its 2025 study reports SDR ramp of 3.0 months. Measured as time to a first result, Revspire’s sales ramp time benchmark of aggregated customer data found medians of 120 days to a first closed-won deal for enterprise AEs, 75 days for mid-market AEs and 35 days to a first qualified meeting for SDRs.
What is AI sales onboarding software?
It is onboarding software that uses AI to build courses from existing documents, generate quizzes and let new hires rehearse with a scoring AI buyer. Allego, Highspot, Mindtickle, SalesHood, Seismic Learning, Learn:Up and Revspire all describe AI role-play. Test AI scores against your managers’ scores on a sample before using them to certify reps.
How we checked these tools
We described each tool from its own product and pricing pages on 19 October 2026. We did not test the products hands-on or use review ratings or vendor-reported customer results.
