9 Best Conversation Intelligence Software in 2026

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

The best conversation intelligence software in 2026 depends on where your calls already happen and who acts on what they reveal. Standalone platforms (Attention, Avoma, Gong, Jiminny) record and analyze calls in any stack; Chorus, Outreach and Salesloft build it into data or sales engagement platforms; Allego and Mindtickle connect call review to coaching and training.

Below are nine of the best conversation intelligence platforms, A to Z, with each vendor’s published pricing model, one limitation and the team each suits.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list. Its own Conversation Intelligence module is listed as coming soon, so it is not included; tools are listed alphabetically, with each vendor’s published information checked on 20 October 2026. Alphabetical order is not a ranking.

What is conversation intelligence software?

Conversation intelligence software records, transcribes and analyzes sales calls and video meetings so teams can see what is actually said to buyers. Buyers also search for it as sales call recording and analysis software, but recording is only step one. Our complete guide to conversation intelligence covers how it works and how to roll it out.

Conversation intelligence tools do five jobs:

  • Capture video meetings, dialer calls and, in some tools, in-person meetings.
  • Transcribe and summarize each conversation, with action items and draft follow-ups.
  • Analyze topics, talk patterns, competitor mentions, objections and buying signals.
  • Coach through scorecards, comments, call playlists and, in some tools, live guidance.
  • Update systems : write notes and fields to the CRM and flag deals at risk.

Conversation intelligence vs revenue intelligence: what is the difference?

Conversation intelligence analyzes the conversations themselves. Revenue intelligence combines that data with email, CRM and activity data to judge deal health and the forecast. Many vendors sell both: Gong describes a Revenue AI platform with a separate forecasting module, and Salesloft says its buyer signals feed forecasting. If your question is “how do our reps sell?”, you are buying conversation intelligence; if it is “which deals will close this quarter?”, you are buying revenue intelligence.

General AI meeting note-takers, such as Otter and Fireflies, are a third category: they record, transcribe and summarize meetings for any team, and both market sales features such as CRM sync. Sales conversation intelligence centers on methodology scorecards, deal inspection and coaching workflows. If you mainly need searchable notes, a note-taker may be enough.

How to choose conversation intelligence software

  • Capture coverage: video platforms, your dialer, mobile and in-person meetings, and whether a bot joins the call.
  • Consent and compliance: recording announcements, regional rules, one-sided recording, retention and access.
  • Configurable analysis: scorecards for your methodology (MEDDICC, SPICED) and trackers for your competitors and objections.
  • Coaching workflow: comments, scorecards, call playlists, and a route from a weak call to practice.
  • CRM write-back: which fields, notes and next steps update automatically, in which CRMs.
  • Deal signals: risk alerts, buying-group coverage and competitor mentions in open opportunities.
  • Pricing model: per recording seat, free or paid listeners, platform fees and contract length.

Pricing models change what the same team costs. Take 40 people: 25 reps record calls, and 15 managers, enablement and product marketing staff only listen. Avoma’s pricing page says viewers are free; Outreach lists Listener Licenses as an add-on; Gong prices licenses per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users. Ask every vendor to quote the same 25-plus-15 split.

What types of conversation intelligence tools are there?

  • Standalone platforms (Attention, Avoma, Gong, Jiminny): bought for call and deal analysis in any stack.
  • Built into engagement or data platforms (Chorus by ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesloft): best when reps already work there.
  • Built into enablement platforms (Allego, Mindtickle): feed training and coaching rather than the forecast.

The 9 best conversation intelligence tools, A to Z

Allego

Allego Conversation Intelligence sits alongside Allego’s revenue enablement platform (Allego conversation intelligence, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: recording and transcription across meetings and dialers in many languages, with searchable transcripts; sharing key moments and showreels of top calls; scoring to find coaching moments, with winning behaviors reinforced through connected learning and practice; flags for deals losing momentum; one view of buyer engagement across calls, email, content and digital sales rooms.
  • Pricing: the Allego pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) prices “Modern Learning + Conversation Intelligence” per user per month with no amount, billed annually upfront on 1, 2 or 3-year terms (3 is typical); channel and partner users get a lower list price.
  • Limitation: on the pricing page, conversation intelligence appears only in a package with Modern Learning, not as a standalone purchase.
  • Choose it if: enablement owns coaching and you want good calls to flow into learning paths and practice.

Attention

Attention presents itself as a platform of AI agents that learn from your best sales conversations, with call recording as the starting point (Attention homepage, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: botless recording across major meeting platforms; AI scorecards against MEDDIC, BANT or a custom framework; CRM auto-update; deal health scored from call and email signals; AI agents built from plays described in plain language, with user approval before actions run; an MCP server giving Claude, ChatGPT and other tools access to calls and deals. The homepage claims 100+ languages and 200+ integrations.
  • Pricing: no prices or pricing link on the homepage (checked 20 October 2026); it offers a self-serve “Get started” sign-up.
  • Limitation: the homepage does not mention a dialer or how phone calls are captured, so phone-heavy teams should confirm coverage.
  • Choose it if: you want call data to drive AI follow-up and deal actions.

Avoma

Avoma sells an AI meeting assistant for recording users, with conversation intelligence and revenue intelligence as add-ons (Avoma pricing, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: AI scorecards aimed at every call, with methodology templates or custom criteria; a Live Answer Assistant showing reps answer cards for objections during calls; Smart Trackers for deal risks, churn signals and competitor mentions, with email or Slack alerts; integrations including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, HubSpot and dialers such as Aircall and Dialpad (Avoma conversation intelligence, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: recorder seats from $19 per month billed annually or $29 monthly (Startup, up to 25 paid seats); Enterprise’s plan card shows $39 per seat per month, annual only, 10-seat minimum. The Conversation Intelligence add-on is $29 per seat per month billed annually or $35 monthly. Viewers are free, with a 14-day free trial of the Organization plan and all add-ons (checked 20 October 2026).
  • Limitation: full scorecards, coaching recommendations and trackers are a paid add-on (the Organization plan includes only limited conversation intelligence), so per-rep cost is seat plus add-on.
  • Choose it if: you want published per-seat prices and a trial on your own calls.

Chorus by ZoomInfo

Chorus is ZoomInfo’s conversation intelligence product. ZoomInfo announced its plan to acquire Chorus.ai on 13 July 2021 for about $575 million in cash (ZoomInfo press release filed with the SEC).

  • Standout capabilities: analysis of calls, meetings and emails with instant transcripts; winning behaviors and methodology adherence; deal momentum, churn mitigation and CRM sync; why deals are won or lost, and competitive insights; ZoomInfo contact and company data alongside conversation history (ZoomInfo Chorus, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: the ZoomInfo pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) publishes no prices and lists Chorus in no plan’s features or add-ons; the Chorus page offers a demo.
  • Limitation: with Chorus tied to no named plan, sales must confirm whether it is included, bundled or an add-on.
  • Choose it if: you already buy ZoomInfo data and want call insight linked to contacts.

Gong

Gong calls its product a Revenue AI platform, describes conversation intelligence as “the heartbeat” of its AI operating system, and names modules for engagement (Gong Engage), coaching and training (Gong Enable) and forecasting (Gong Forecast) (Gong conversation intelligence, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: calls, emails, meetings and CRM data in one place; detection of objections, competitor mentions, topics and buying signals; automatic transcription, summaries and CRM field updates; AI agents such as AI Tasker and AI Deal Predictor; scorecards and coaching recommendations; alerts for quiet deals or unaddressed objections.
  • Pricing: the Gong pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) says licenses are priced per user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users; no amounts, integrations are free, and buyers request a custom proposal.
  • Limitation: with no published prices and a platform fee on top of licenses, total cost is unknown until a proposal.
  • Choose it if: you want call analysis, deal inspection, coaching and forecasting from one vendor at scale.

Jiminny

Jiminny positions itself as a conversation and revenue intelligence platform that captures emails, phone calls and video calls (Jiminny homepage, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: call recording and transcription with AI summaries; coaching insights for managers; automatic CRM filling; call libraries and playlists; Ask Jiminny questions across conversations; pipeline risk views and executive reporting. Products: AI Notetaker, Conversation Intelligence and GTM (Revenue) Intelligence.
  • Pricing: no prices on the homepage (checked 20 October 2026); a 14-day free trial of full features, no credit card required.
  • Limitation: the homepage shows no prices or pricing link, so post-trial cost comes from sales.
  • Choose it if: you want a specialist vendor and a trial before a sales process.

Mindtickle

Mindtickle’s Conversation Intelligence, also called Mindtickle Call AI, is part of its revenue enablement platform (Mindtickle conversation intelligence, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: automated recording and transcription; scorecards on behaviors such as talk time, pace and questions asked, with manager-set benchmarks; an AI copilot for summaries and follow-up drafts; coaching forms, comments and tags; recordings and snippets reused as training content; competitor, objection and buyer-question tracking; CRM updates for Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Pricing: no prices on the page, which offers a demo; mindtickle.com/pricing returned “page not found” (checked 20 October 2026).
  • Limitation: with no pricing page found, even the pricing structure has to come from sales.
  • Choose it if: you run readiness on Mindtickle and want call evidence beside each rep’s training record.

Outreach (Kaia)

Outreach’s conversation intelligence is powered by Outreach Kaia, inside the Outreach platform (Outreach Kaia, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: Kaia joins and records live meetings with real-time transcription; live battlecards and content cards during the call; summaries, follow-ups, action items and auto-updated fields; topic reports by sales stage; playlists of top recordings. One-sided recording (seller side only) supports compliance, and Kaia can translate summaries and transcripts.
  • Pricing: the Outreach pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) lists Amplify Essentials, Core, Plus and Pro, each “Request pricing”; Essentials is described as for teams that need conversation intelligence at the center of their stack, and Listener Licenses are an add-on.
  • Limitation: scope varies by plan: Amplify Core lists the Outreach Voice dialer and call insights, not the real-time transcription listed for Essentials and Plus.
  • Choose it if: your reps already sequence in Outreach and want live in-call guidance.

Salesloft

Salesloft Conversation Intelligence is sold by Clari + Salesloft. The two companies announced a definitive agreement to merge in August 2025 (Business Wire), and a Clari + Salesloft release from May 2026 refers to “its December 2025 merger”. On 20 October 2026, Clari’s Copilot product page redirected to Salesloft’s conversation intelligence page.

  • Standout capabilities: automatic recording, transcription and analysis of calls; AI summaries, smart chapters, action items and drafted follow-ups; in-call battlecards and coaching cards triggered by keywords such as “discount”; coachable moments turned into tasks; automatic call scoring; sentiment, objection and at-risk signals, with buyer signals fed into the forecast (Salesloft conversation intelligence, checked 20 October 2026). A Clari + Salesloft launch release (14 July 2026) adds in-person meeting recording on mobile devices.
  • Pricing: the Salesloft pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) publishes no plans or prices and routes buyers to sales.
  • Limitation: the page does not describe language support or name integrations.
  • Choose it if: you run cadences in Salesloft, forecast in Clari, or use Clari Copilot today (ask for the roadmap in writing).

Before you switch on automated scoring, agree what a good call looks like. A sales call scorecard defines the criteria, and our free sales call scorecard template gives you a starting point. For the research behind coaching from calls, including how old some widely quoted call-analysis figures are, see our sales coaching statistics.

Conversation intelligence shows where reps struggle, and closing the gap usually takes practice and the right content, so it pairs well with an enablement platform such as Revspire’s AI Sales Training & Coaching, where reps rehearse a weak objection in AI role-play and get scored before the next call.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best conversation intelligence software?

It depends on your stack. Teams wanting one revenue AI vendor at scale can shortlist Gong; teams living in Outreach or Salesloft should test the built-in option first; enablement-led teams should look at Allego or Mindtickle. Test any shortlist on your own calls.

How much does conversation intelligence software cost?

Of the vendor pages we checked, only Avoma’s shows prices: recorder seats from $19 per month billed annually, plus $29 per seat per month for the full Conversation Intelligence add-on (checked 20 October 2026). Gong charges per user plus a platform fee, and the others quote through sales, so ask each to price the same mix of recording and listening users.

What happened to Clari Copilot?

Clari and Salesloft announced an agreement to merge in August 2025, and a May 2026 Clari + Salesloft release refers to “its December 2025 merger”. On 20 October 2026, the Clari Copilot product page redirected to Salesloft’s conversation intelligence page. Copilot customers should ask what this means for their contract.

What is the difference between conversation intelligence and AI sales coaching?

Conversation intelligence analyzes real calls during or after they happen; AI sales coaching tools let reps practice simulated conversations and get scored before a live call. Our roundup of the best AI sales coaching software covers the practice side.

Do you need consent to record sales calls?

Recording rules vary by country and state, and some require every participant’s consent; the consent section of our conversation intelligence guide summarizes the main US and UK rules. This is general information, not legal advice.
