8 Best Sales Dialer Software in 2026

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

A sales dialer is software that places outbound sales calls faster than dialing by hand, using click-to-call, power, parallel or predictive dialing, and logs every call to the CRM. The best sales dialer software in 2026 includes Orum and Nooks for parallel dialing, PhoneBurner and Kixie for power dialing, and Aircall, CloudTalk, Dialpad and JustCall as phone systems with dialers.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and does not sell a sales dialer tool, so it is not included. Tools are grouped by type, with each vendor’s own published information checked on 20 October 2026. Within each group they are listed alphabetically; the order is not a ranking.

What is sales dialer software?

Sales dialer software automates the dialing part of outbound calling: reps work a list from the CRM or sales engagement platform, the dialer places the calls, and outcomes, notes and recordings are written back to the record. Most dialers cover:

  • Dialing modes: click-to-call, power, parallel (multi-line) or predictive.
  • CRM logging: activity, dispositions and recordings synced to Salesforce, HubSpot or another CRM.
  • Caller ID management: local presence, number rotation, branded caller ID and spam-label monitoring.
  • Voicemail drop: a pre-recorded message left with one click.
  • Recording and coaching: live listening, whisper coaching, transcripts and AI summaries.

A dialer speeds up calls; who you call and what you say still decide the result. Our cold outreach tips cover the rest of an outbound programme.

Power dialer vs parallel dialer vs predictive dialer: what is the difference?

The mode decides how many numbers ring at once and who hears the answer.

Mode

How it dials

Named or described by (as published)

Click-to-call

The rep clicks a number in the CRM or browser; one call at a time.

Aircall, CloudTalk, Kixie, Orum, Outreach, Salesloft

Power

Dials the next number automatically when the last call ends; one line per rep.

Aircall, CloudTalk, Dialpad (Support), JustCall, Kixie, Nooks, Orum, PhoneBurner

Parallel (multi-line)

Dials several numbers at once for one rep and connects the first person who answers.

CloudTalk (add-on, up to 10 numbers), Kixie (Multi-Line PowerDialer, up to 4 lines), Nooks, Orum

Predictive

Dials several contacts per agent across a team and routes answers to whoever is free.

JustCall (SalesPro, up to 10 lines)

With predictive dialing, JustCall’s help centre (10 July 2025) says a call is marked “Abandoned” if the contact answers while every agent is busy, which matters for compliance.

How to choose a sales dialer

  • Dialing mode: parallel for high-volume lists, power or click-to-call for named accounts, predictive only after a compliance review.
  • CRM write-back: your CRM on the plan you will buy; some vendors put Salesforce on a higher tier.
  • Number reputation: local presence, caller ID rotation and spam monitoring, and whether each costs extra.
  • Voicemail and screening: voicemail drop and detection of voicemail, phone trees and gatekeepers.
  • Recording and coaching: retention, transcripts and live listening; score calls with a sales call scorecard.
  • Compliance controls: do-not-call scrubbing, calling-hour limits by time zone and consent records.
  • Seat minimums and add-ons: both change the real price per rep.

  • Limitation: no Power Dialer or voicemail drop on Essentials, and its pricing and Power Dialer pages list no parallel or predictive mode.
  • Choose it if: sales and support share one phone system and reps need a sequential dialer in the CRM.

CloudTalk

  • Standout capabilities: click-to-call on every plan, a smart dialer from Essential, a power dialer (add-on, included in Expert) and a parallel dialer add-on that dials up to 10 numbers at once; voicemail drop with the dialer add-ons; recording on all plans; local numbers in 160+ countries. • Limitation: dynamic and predictive dialing require SalesPro, which has no published price.
  • Choose it if: you want calling and SMS that can grow from a power dialer to predictive team campaigns.

Dialers inside sales engagement platforms

If reps already run sequences in a sales engagement platform, check its dialer first; our guide to sales engagement platforms covers them.

  • Outreach: its Amplify Essentials, Core and Plus packages list an “Outreach Voice Integrated Dialer” (Pro includes everything in Plus), all priced on request (Outreach pricing), and its support article describes click-to-call from a prospect’s number with in-call recording controls.
  • Salesloft: its Dialer + Messenger page describes one-click calling and texting, LocalDial local area codes, pre-recorded voicemail drop and Live Call Studio for managers (Salesloft dialer).

Neither page names parallel dialing; Orum and Nooks both list integrations with Outreach and Salesloft.

Worked example: what 10 reps cost per month

At each page’s per-user price for a plan with a dialer, before tax, numbers and usage: Aircall Professional 10 × $50 = $500; JustCall Pro 10 × $49 = $490 billed annually; PhoneBurner Standard 10 × $140 = $1,400 billed annually; CloudTalk Expert plus Parallel Dialer 10 × (€49 + €39) = €880 billed annually, plus the 11% fee where it applies. Orum and Nooks quote; check Kixie’s page. Compare cost per live conversation in a trial, not cost per seat.

Calling rules and compliance: questions to ask

This is not legal advice. Calling and texting rules apply to how you use a dialer, so check each vendor’s compliance features and your own obligations with counsel.

  • US, TCPA: 47 U.S.C. § 227(b)(1)(A) bars calls using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice to cellular numbers without prior express consent, except emergencies (Cornell LII). In a declaratory ruling adopted 2 February and released 8 February 2024 (FCC 24-17), the FCC treats AI-generated voices as “artificial” under the TCPA (FCC). Ask counsel how this applies to voicemail drop, AI voice agents and mobile numbers.
  • US, Do Not Call: the FTC says most calls to a business to sell to it are exempt from the Telemarketing Sales Rule’s do-not-call provisions; consumer calls need the registry checked at least every 31 days (FTC, modified 8 October 2026).
  • US, abandoned calls: for telemarketing the rule covers, a call is abandoned if no sales representative connects within 2 seconds of the greeting; the safe harbour caps abandonment at 3% of answered calls per campaign or 30-day period (16 CFR 310.4, up to date as of 16 October 2026).
  • UK: the ICO says live B2B calls should be screened against TPS and CTPS and automated calls need specific consent (ICO, 22 May 2025, under review).

Ask every vendor, in writing: how numbers are scrubbed against national and internal do-not-call lists; what happens when two people answer at once on a parallel line; which calling-hour limits apply by time zone; and how caller IDs are registered and monitored for spam labels.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best sales dialer?

It depends on your calling motion: parallel dialers such as Orum and Nooks for high-volume SDR teams, PhoneBurner for AEs making fewer calls, and Aircall, CloudTalk, Dialpad or JustCall for one phone system across sales and support.

What is the difference between a power dialer and a parallel dialer?

A power dialer calls one number at a time and dials the next when the last call ends. A parallel dialer rings several numbers at once for one rep and connects whoever answers first; ask the vendor what happens when two people answer.

What is an auto dialer for sales?

A loose term for software that dials from a list without the rep typing numbers. JustCall’s outbound dialer guide uses it for sequential list dialing; other vendors mean power, parallel or predictive dialing, so confirm the mode.

How much does sales dialer software cost?

On 20 October 2026, published US-dollar prices ran from $29 per user a month (JustCall Team, billed annually, which has no power dialer) to $183 (PhoneBurner Premium, billed annually; $215 billed monthly); CloudTalk shows euros, from €19. Orum and Nooks quote; see Kixie’s pricing page for its plans.

Is it legal to use an auto dialer for B2B cold calling?

It depends on the country, the numbers you call and how the dialer works. In the US, the TCPA restricts autodialed and prerecorded or artificial-voice calls to mobile numbers without prior express consent, while the FTC exempts most business-to-business sales calls from its do-not-call provisions. Take legal advice before launching campaigns.
