12 Best AI Sales Tools for B2B Teams in 2026, by Category
A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.
AI sales tools use large language models and machine learning to take over parts of a seller’s job: account research, outreach drafts, call notes, CRM updates and practice. The best AI sales tools in 2026 by job are HubSpot and Salesforce (CRM agents), Apollo.io and Clay (research), Amplemarket and Outreach (outreach), and Fathom and Gong (calls).
For coaching and buyer-facing work, add AI role-play (Hyperbound or Second Nature) and an enablement platform with AI search and digital sales rooms (Seismic or Revspire). Each of the 12 tools below has what its AI actually does, the vendor’s own published price and one factual limitation.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list. Revspire appears once, in the enablement and digital sales room group, and is not ranked above other tools. Tools are grouped by the job they do and listed alphabetically within each group; numbers are for navigation only. Prices come from each vendor’s own website, checked on 16 October 2026, in USD before tax or discounts. Exceptions are noted in the entry.

What do AI sales tools actually automate?
Most of the value is in the work around selling. In Salesforce’s 2024 State of Sales survey of 5,500 sales professionals, reps said they spend 70% of their time on non-selling tasks (Salesforce, 25 July 2024). The Bridge Group’s 2026 study of 158 B2B companies found the most common AI-assisted account executive workflows were post-call summaries, account research and email personalisation, and that a plurality of respondents rated 10 of 11 AI use cases “hit or miss” (The Bridge Group, 22 June 2026).
The adoption evidence is associational. Companies in the Bridge Group’s top third for AI engagement reported 57% of reps at quota against 39% in the bottom third, a gap the authors flag as observational. Gartner found that sellers who partner effectively with AI were 3.7 times more likely to meet quota, but also that 50% of sellers felt overwhelmed by the amount of technology they need (Gartner, 16 September 2024). More sourced figures are on our AI in sales enablement statistics page.

Some AI sales features are easy to switch on and hard to defend. Inferring a prospect’s personality type from a social profile, cloning a rep’s voice or face for personalised videos, and auto-sending replies to buyers all carry accuracy, consent and brand risk. Run them past legal and marketing first, and keep a rep approval step on anything a buyer will read.
AI assistants inside the CRM
If your CRM vendor already sells agents that work on your CRM data, start there: no new integration, and admins control what the agent sees. The trade-off is that AI usage is usually metered on top of seats.
1. HubSpot Sales Hub
HubSpot’s sales CRM, sharing one database with its marketing and service products.
- What the AI does: the Breeze Prospecting Agent automates prospecting and outreach campaigns; HubSpot’s June 2026 updates opened it to every paid hub from Starter, charged in HubSpot Credits (MarTech, 24 July 2026).
- Best for: SMB and mid-market teams that want CRM, sequences and AI in one place, especially if marketing already runs on HubSpot.
- Pricing: Free plan for up to two users. Starter is shown at $7 or $20 and Professional at $90 or $100 per seat per month, depending on the billing option (Pay Annually is marked best value); Enterprise starts at $150 per seat per month. Professional and Enterprise add one-time onboarding fees of $1,500 and $3,500 (HubSpot pricing, checked 17 October 2026).
- Limitation: agents draw on HubSpot Credits, so AI cost grows with usage on top of the seat price.
2. Salesforce Sales Cloud (Agentforce for Sales)
Salesforce’s CRM, with Agentforce AI agents running on the same platform and data model.
- What the AI does: Agentforce for Sales and the AI add-ons listed for Core cover prospecting, lead nurture, pipeline management, sales signals, call summaries, lead scoring and predictive forecasting; the list varies by edition.
- Best for: mid-market and enterprise teams already on Salesforce that want agents working inside their existing permissions and territories.
- Pricing: Starter Suite $25 and Pro Suite $100 per user per month; Core $195, Advanced $395 and Max $550, billed annually, with yearly Flex Credits of 500,000, 1 million and 2.75 million per org respectively; free trials on every paid edition except Max (Salesforce pricing, modified 21 September 2026).
- Limitation: the page says AI can be added from Core upwards; on Core and Advanced, Agentforce for Sales is listed as available for purchase, and only Max includes it.
AI prospecting and account research
Research tools find who to contact and why now. Choose a database-plus-sequencer when reps need contacts fast; choose an enrichment workbench when RevOps wants to build its own research logic.
3. Apollo.io
A B2B contact database with sequencing, a dialer and AI research in one product.
- What the AI does: AI research on the Professional plan, and an AI Assistant for agentic workflows, launched out of beta on 4 March 2026 (Apollo, 4 March 2026); Apollo also acquired Pocus on 19 March 2026 (Apollo, 19 March 2026).
- Best for: startup, SMB and lean mid-market outbound teams that want data and sequencing under one contract.
- Pricing: Free plan. Apollo’s plan guide lists Basic at $49 per user per month billed annually, Professional at $79 and Organization at $119 with a three-user minimum (Apollo, 17 September 2026). The pricing page showed plan names but no figures on 16 October 2026.
- Limitation: credits do not roll over between billing cycles, so unused capacity resets (Apollo plan guide above).
4. Clay
A spreadsheet-style workbench for enrichment and research, combining 150+ data providers with an AI research agent.
- What the AI does: Claygent, Clay’s AI research agent, is on every plan, including Free; paid plans add signals such as job changes and company news, scheduled enrichment and email campaigns.
- Best for: RevOps and growth teams that design their own research and enrichment workflows rather than buying a fixed database.
- Pricing: Free plan with 500 actions and 100 data credits a month. Launch from $185 a month, or $167 a month billed annually; Growth from $495, or $446 billed annually; Enterprise custom. Each price combines an actions allowance with data credits, and seats are unlimited (Clay pricing).
- Limitation: CRM integrations and HTTP API integrations start on the Growth plan.
AI outreach and sequencing
These tools run the email, call and LinkedIn steps and use AI to decide who to contact and what to say. Amplemarket packages data, signals and a copilot for smaller outbound teams; Outreach is built for larger teams that also want deal and forecast features.
5. Amplemarket
An outbound platform combining contact data, intent signals, multichannel sequences and the Duo AI features.
- What the AI does: Duo Copilot (every plan) finds and researches prospects and prepares sequences for review; Duo Copywriter drafts personalised emails; Growth adds Duo Voice for AI voice messages. Sequences cover email, phone and social, with 100+ contact-level intent signals.
- Best for: outbound teams that want data, signals, sequencing and AI drafting in one contract.
- Pricing: Startup $600 per month for two users on an annual term; Growth (four users) and Elite (ten users) are priced on request; 14-day free trial (Amplemarket, 5 March 2026).
- Limitation: only the Startup plan has a published price; Growth and Elite are tailored to team size, outreach volume and features.
6. Outreach
A sales execution platform covering sequences, a dialer, deal management, conversation intelligence and forecasting.
- What the AI does: named agents for research, deals, meeting prep, revenue and personalisation, plus an MCP server and client. Omni, launched on 27 April 2026, is a conversational agent for the whole revenue team, also available in Slack and on mobile; Agent Studio lets RevOps build its own agents (Business Wire, 27 April 2026).
- Best for: mid-market and enterprise outbound teams that want engagement, deal inspection and forecasting from one vendor.
- Pricing: quote-based. Per-user seats plus AI credits, from 10,000 (Amplify Essentials) to 100,000 (Amplify Pro); the page says there are no platform fees (Outreach pricing).
- Limitation: AI forecasting features, including forecast projection and the scenario planner, are listed only on Amplify Pro, the top package.
AI meeting notes and conversation intelligence
Post-call summaries top the Bridge Group’s 2026 list of common AI-assisted AE workflows. Choose a note-taker when the goal is accurate notes and CRM fields at a known per-seat price; choose conversation intelligence when managers also want deal risk, coaching and forecast signals across every call.
7. Fathom
An AI note-taker that records, transcribes and summarises meetings.
- What the AI does: instant call summaries and action items; Ask Fathom answers questions about a call; the Business plan adds CRM field sync, a Deal View summary, coaching metrics and AI scorecards.
- Best for: teams that want reliable notes and CRM updates without a conversation-intelligence contract.
- Pricing: Free plan with unlimited recordings and transcription. Per user per month, billed annually (monthly in brackets): Premium $16 ($20), Team $15 ($19) and Business $25 ($34); Team and Business need at least two users (Fathom pricing).
- Limitation: CRM field sync and Deal View start on the Business plan; Free, Premium and Team do not list them.
8. Gong
A revenue AI platform that records and analyses customer conversations, with Gong Engage, Gong Forecast and Gong Enable products.
- What the AI does: call and deal analysis, risk signals and forecasting. On 30 September 2026 Gong announced Gong Activate (always-on agents that guide reps through revenue plays), Gong Enrich, an Agent Builder and a Deep Mode research agent in Gong Assistant (Gong, 30 September 2026).
- Best for: mid-market and enterprise teams that want call analysis, coaching insight and deal signals in one system.
- Pricing: quote-based: per-user licences plus a platform fee that depends on the number of users; integrations are free (Gong pricing).
- Limitation: no figures are published, and the platform fee sits on top of per-user licences.
AI role-play and sales coaching
AI role-play lets reps rehearse calls with a simulated buyer and get scored before a real meeting. In Revspire’s sales skills gap benchmark of more than 2,000 scored AI role-plays across 20 B2B companies (October 2025 to September 2026), reps scored 4.4 out of 5 on product knowledge but 3.0 on closing and 3.2 on objection handling; the status quo objection was hardest, at 2.9. That is an observed pattern in customer data, not a test of any tool, but check that a tool lets you build closing and status-quo scenarios, not only product pitches. For a longer comparison, see our best AI sales role-play software guide.
9. Hyperbound
An AI role-play and call-scoring platform that describes itself as a revenue activation platform, sold as Hyperbound Practice, Hyperbound Perform and Kota Activate.
- What the AI does: AI sales role-plays and coaching, plus scoring of real calls, with Kota agents alongside (Hyperbound).
- Best for: SDR and AE teams that want frequent call practice and real-call scoring at scale.
- Pricing: a Free plan is listed next to paid Practice and Perform plans, which are bought through a demo with no prices shown (Hyperbound pricing).
- Limitation: it covers practice, call scoring and coaching, not content management or buyer-facing deal rooms.
10. Second Nature
An AI role-play platform for sales training and certification, with AI personas that include moving video avatars.
- What the AI does: scored role-plays for discovery, objection handling, cold calls and custom scenarios. Scores weight knowledge 70% and style 30% by default and arrive within 45 to 90 seconds; Deal Coach adds AI coaching on live deals (Second Nature FAQ; Second Nature).
- Best for: enablement teams certifying large or multilingual sales forces that want results in their LMS (Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors, Adobe Learning Manager or SCORM) and CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Pricing: not published; the site directs buyers to book a demo or contact sales.
- Limitation: no free plan or trial is listed; the homepage offers free demo role-plays instead.
AI sales enablement and digital sales rooms
Enablement platforms use AI to find, recommend and generate approved content, and digital sales rooms give each buying group one shared page for content, stakeholders and next steps. Use one when deals involve several buyers and reps keep asking where the latest deck is.
11. Revspire
Revspire publishes this list. It is an AI sales enablement platform that connects a governed Content Hub, an AI Playbook Engine, AI sales training and coaching, and digital sales rooms in one revenue workflow.
- What the AI does: searches approved content by meaning and context; recommends content by deal stage and stakeholder role in deal rooms; drafts battlecards and objection plays from approved knowledge, with approval routing; and scores AI video role-plays for clarity, confidence and objection handling. An MCP integration lets assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude use Revspire search, content, deal rooms, playbooks and analytics.
- Best for: mid-market and enterprise B2B teams with multi-stakeholder deals that want content, practice and buyer engagement in one workflow.
- Pricing: priced by module, not per seat: Content Hub is the base platform and Deal Room, Academy (training and certification), Partner Portal and CPQ are added to it, each at a fixed annual price quoted by sales. Every plan includes unlimited user licenses, and the average customer pays about $25,000 USD a year. Native E-Signer and Advanced CPQ add-ons are quoted with the modules (Revspire pricing).
- Limitation: prices come only through a sales quote, and no free plan or trial is offered.
- Choose something else if: you only need deal rooms and want a free start (Dock’s Free plan, though it excludes Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, per Dock pricing), or your company has already standardised on Seismic or Highspot.
12. Seismic (including Highspot)
An enterprise enablement platform for content, learning, coaching and buyer engagement. Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026; the company operates under the Seismic name, and Highspot is sold as Highspot by Seismic (Highspot, 18 August 2026).
- What the AI does: Aura Chat, generally available since the Fall 2025 release, answers reps from approved, current content and can draft an email or add content to a digital sales room; the release also announced a PowerPoint Presentation Agent (pilot) and a Role-play Agent (Seismic, 21 October 2025). Highspot’s packages list AI search and answers, content autogeneration and Highspot Agents, with AI role-play in the Better and Best packages (Highspot pricing).
- Best for: large enterprises that want governed content, training and buyer engagement from one vendor.
- Pricing: quote-based. Highspot by Seismic lists Good, Better and Best packages with “Contact sales” and no figures; seismic.com/pricing did not load when we checked on 16 October 2026.
- Limitation: two product lines now sit under one company, and the merger page pointed customers to Shift 2026 for the first in-depth roadmap look (Seismic merger page), so confirm which product and package a quote covers.
How much do AI sales tools cost?
Published prices run from free plans to quote-only contracts, and three pricing models sit side by side:
- Per seat: Fathom, HubSpot, Apollo.io and Salesforce publish per-user monthly prices. Revspire does the opposite: it prices by module with unlimited user licenses (average about $25,000 USD a year).
- Usage on top of seats or instead of them: HubSpot Credits, Salesforce Flex Credits, Outreach AI credits and Apollo credits meter AI or data use; Clay prices on actions and data credits with unlimited seats.
- Quote-based: Gong, Outreach, Seismic, Second Nature, Hyperbound’s paid plans and Amplemarket’s Growth and Elite plans.
Worked example: a 20-rep team
This is an illustrative calculation from the published prices above, on annual billing. Meeting notes on Fathom Team cost 20 × $15 = $300 a month; Fathom Business costs 20 × $25 = $500 a month, so the extra $200 buys CRM field sync, Deal View and AI scorecards. For research, Apollo.io Basic for every rep is 20 × $49 = $980 a month, while Clay Growth starts at $446 a month for unlimited seats, with spend set by actions and data credits instead of headcount. Ask each vendor what happens when an allowance runs out mid-month.
How to choose an AI sales tool
Start from the task that costs your reps the most time, then pick the category that removes it. Buying an “AI platform” first and looking for uses later is how teams end up with overlapping tools and the technology overload Gartner describes.
Checklist before you buy
- Data access: what the AI reads (CRM, email, calls, content), and whether admins can restrict it to approved sources.
- Write-back: which CRM fields it changes, and whether a rep confirms before it saves.
- Metering: whether AI is in the seat price or charged in credits, and whether unused credits roll over (Apollo’s do not).
- Overlap: whether a tool you already pay for now includes the feature, such as HubSpot’s Prospecting Agent from Starter or role-play in Highspot’s Better package.
- Security: SSO and SCIM, data residency, and the audit report itself rather than a badge on the website.
- Proof: a pilot with a comparison group, measured on time saved and stage conversion, not logins.
Suggested starting points by team
- Under 20 reps, outbound-led: HubSpot or Apollo.io for data and sequences, Fathom for notes, and Hyperbound’s free plan to try role-play.
- Mid-market, multi-stakeholder deals: your CRM’s agents, Gong or Fathom Business for calls, an AI role-play tool, and an enablement platform with digital sales rooms (Seismic or Revspire).
- Enterprise on Salesforce: Agentforce where it fits your data model, Outreach or Gong for execution and forecasting, and Seismic or Highspot for content at scale.

Frequently asked questions
What are AI sales tools?
AI sales tools are software products that use machine learning or large language models to perform sales tasks: researching accounts, drafting outreach, summarising calls, updating the CRM, scoring practice conversations and recommending content. Some are standalone, such as Clay or Fathom; others are agents inside a CRM or engagement platform, such as Agentforce or HubSpot’s Prospecting Agent.
What is the best AI tool for sales?
There is no single best tool; it depends on the job. Start with the task that costs your reps the most time: research (Apollo.io, Clay), outreach (Amplemarket, Outreach), call notes (Fathom, Gong) or practice (Hyperbound, Second Nature). If your CRM already offers agents, test those first.
What is an AI sales assistant?
An AI sales assistant is a conversational or agent-style feature that answers a seller’s questions and takes actions on their behalf, such as preparing for a meeting, drafting a follow-up or finding an approved asset. Examples in this list include Outreach’s Omni, Seismic’s Aura Chat, Gong Assistant and HubSpot’s Breeze Assistant. The useful ones are grounded in your CRM and approved content, not only the open web.
Are there free AI sales tools?
Yes. HubSpot Sales Hub, Apollo.io, Clay, Fathom and Hyperbound all list free plans, as of 16 October 2026. Free plans are capped: Clay’s includes 500 actions and 100 data credits a month, and HubSpot’s covers up to two users, so test the paid limits before rolling out to a team.
Can AI replace sales reps?
The evidence so far points to AI taking over tasks, not roles. The Bridge Group’s 2026 study found AI use concentrated in post-call summaries, account research and email personalisation, and a plurality of respondents rated 10 of 11 use cases “hit or miss”. AI handles research, drafting and admin; people still run discovery, build consensus across a buying group and negotiate.
How we chose these tools
We grouped tools by the sales task their AI performs and picked two widely used products per task, listed alphabetically within each group. Every tool needed a vendor-published pricing page, plan guide or clearly described quote process that we could open on 16 October 2026; prices are USD list prices as shown, before tax or discounts. Amplemarket’s figures come from its own pricing article, and Apollo.io’s from its plan guide because its pricing page showed no figures. We used no user reviews or ratings. This page replaces our June 2024 list of ten AI sales tools and our list of AI tools for automating sales busy work; earlier picks we could not verify against a current vendor page were dropped.
