Highspot or Seismic: which should you choose?
Highspot vs Seismic is a choice between two product lines of one company, merged on 18 August 2026. Choose Highspot for plays, AI deal agents and packages that build from content to coaching. Choose Seismic for governed content at scale, financial-services depth and 150+ integrations.
Choose Highspot if…
- You want sales plays and AI agents (Deal Agent, GTM Agent) at the centre of execution.
- You prefer packages that build up from content to training to coaching (Good, Better and Best).
- Your teams work in ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot: Highspot lists an MCP Server and integrations with all three.
- You sell across SMB, mid-market and enterprise rather than one regulated industry.
Choose Seismic if…
- You run a large content operation that needs versioning, permissions and audit trails.
- You sell in financial services: Seismic's homepage features a financial-services section aimed at advisors, wholesalers and relationship managers.
- You need the widest integration catalogue: Seismic lists 150+ integrations.
- You want AI under formal governance: Aura is opt-in by default and Seismic lists ISO 42001.

Did Seismic buy Highspot? What the merger changed
Seismic and Highspot signed a definitive merger agreement on 12 February 2026 without disclosing terms; Permira stays the controlling shareholder, and Highspot founder Robert Wahbe was to join the board. At announcement, both platforms were to remain supported after closing (Seismic press release).
The deal completed on 18 August 2026. The company operates as Seismic under CEO Rob Tarkoff and reports 2,500 customers, 3.5 million users and planned R&D spending above $100 million a year (Highspot blog).
Seismic said it would present its first in-depth roadmap at Seismic Shift, 12 to 15 October 2026. As of 15 October 2026 we found no published product, packaging or pricing decisions. Highspot's merger page names your existing account or customer success contact as the first point of contact and does not address contracts or renewals.
What is the difference between Highspot and Seismic today?
The positioning has converged: Seismic's homepage now uses the same "AI platform for revenue execution" line that Highspot uses, but the products still differ. Highspot organises enablement around sales plays, digital sales rooms with mutual action plans, and agents that flag deal risk and keep content governed (Highspot).
Seismic organises around a governed content library, program execution and Seismic Learning, with Aura agents that prepare meeting briefs, tailor content to buyers and coach on messaging (Seismic).
How does Highspot pricing compare to Seismic pricing?
Neither vendor publishes prices. Vendr reports a median Highspot contract of $60,005 a year (351 purchases, February 2026), and Vendr reports a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year (415 purchases, February 2026). The ranges overlap almost completely ($16,163 to $177,366 for Highspot, $8,993 to $179,008 for Seismic), and both pages show lower "deals handled" counts in their headers, so the medians are directional. See the Highspot pricing and Seismic pricing guides for packaging and cost drivers.
Highspot vs Seismic for enterprise: what to ask at renewal
- Will the product you license stay supported, unchanged, for your full next term?
- Which capabilities will converge between the two product lines, and on what timeline?
- Will your modules be repackaged, and what does that do to price at renewal?
