Mindtickle or SalesHood: which should you choose?

Mindtickle vs SalesHood compares two readiness-led 2025 Gartner Leaders. Choose Mindtickle for readiness scoring tied to CRM outcomes, built-in call recording and role plays in 25+ languages. Choose SalesHood for programmes built from your content and published AI practice limits. Neither pricing page lists prices.

Choose Mindtickle if…

  • You want readiness measured against outcomes: its Readiness Index aligns rep skills with CRM data on quota, win rates, sales cycles and pipeline, with competency profiles for each selling role.
  • You want calls recorded, transcribed and scored in the same platform: Call AI scores talk time, pace and questions asked, and Behavior Intelligence builds role plays from the skill gaps it finds.
  • Your reps practise in many languages: Mindtickle says role plays run in 25+ languages, with dozens of preset personas and custom ones written in plain language.
  • You want AI assistants to reach enablement data: its MCP server brings Deal Guides, content, call insights and sales rooms into Claude and other MCP clients.

Choose SalesHood if…

  • You want AI practice limits in writing before you buy: AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice allow 10 submissions per licence on Essential, 80 on Pro and unlimited on Unlimited.
  • You want programmes built from content you already have: its AI Program Builder turns existing material into onboarding, learning and certification programmes, and its AI Assistant drafts role plays from it.
  • You need content, learning, coaching and role plays in the rep's own language: SalesHood added native support for 19 languages in July 2026, with 2, 6 or unlimited languages by edition.
  • You want certification on a simple rubric: scorecards of up to 10 criteria with an 80% default pass mark, with managers adding their own coaching.

What is the difference between Mindtickle and SalesHood?

On paper they cover the same ground. Mindtickle's homepage lists sales training, AI role play, an AI tutor, coaching, a Readiness Index, content management, deal guides, digital sales rooms and conversation intelligence, run on ElevateOS, which it calls "the first agentic operating system for revenue enablement" (Mindtickle). SalesHood's platform page lists six applications (Content Management, Training & Onboarding, AI Coaching, AI Role Play, Guided Selling and Digital Sales Rooms) under an AI Teammate and Impact Insights analytics.

They differ in how they measure readiness. Mindtickle's Readiness Index scores each rep's skills, knowledge and behaviours, offers pre-built competency frameworks for common selling roles, competency profiles for each role and Ideal Rep Profiles that benchmark reps against top performers, and aligns skills with CRM data on quota achievement, win rates, sales cycles and pipeline. Its Call AI records and transcribes sales calls and scores them against behaviours such as talk time, pace and questions asked. SalesHood measures readiness through assessments, certifications and analytics that track "adoption, certification progress, skill development, and business impact" (SalesHood), and its edition table lists a Salesforce Correlation Engine as "Request" on Pro without describing it. On the pages we checked, SalesHood names no call recorder of its own; its sales rooms add AI call recaps from Zoom and Gong meetings (SalesHood).

Both were Leaders in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, dated 10 November 2025, alongside Allego, Bigtincan, Highspot, Seismic and Showpad. Mindtickle was also a Leader in the Forrester Wave Q3 2024; we found no Forrester placement on SalesHood's site, which cites a Leader position in the 2025 Aragon Research Globe for sales enablement platforms.

SalesHood was bootstrapped in 2013 by Elay Cohen, a former Salesforce senior vice president of sales productivity who is still its CEO, and Arthur Do, and announced a Series A led by TeleSoft Partners in May 2017 (SalesHood). Mindtickle added digital sales rooms by acquiring Enable Us in May 2023 (Inc42). We found no announcement that either has merged or been acquired as of October 2026, while two other Leaders, Highspot and Seismic, merged in August 2026.

How do Mindtickle and SalesHood limit and score AI role play?

Only SalesHood lists limits on its pricing page. Its edition table caps AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice at 10 submissions per licence on Essential and 80 per licence on Pro; only Unlimited removes the cap. AI Coaching & Guidance starts on Pro, and Unlimited lists "Unlimited AI Coaching & Guidance". The table does not say over what period the caps apply, so ask how a submission is counted, whether the cap resets each year, and whether unused submissions can be shared across the team.

Mindtickle's pricing page lists no plans, so it states no caps either way. Its role-play page says reps can "practice as many times as you like with always-on AI". Ask whether your contract limits role-play sessions, languages or AI scoring before you compare it with a SalesHood edition.

Both run voice conversations with an AI buyer. Mindtickle offers dozens of preset buyer personas and voices, custom personas written as plain-language prompts, uploaded objections of which the AI asks a subset each session, and screen sharing for demo and presentation practice; the page does not mention video avatars. Its Behavior Intelligence analyses calls, assessments and past role plays to find each rep's skill gaps, then builds role plays to close them, and reps are certified on scores you set.

SalesHood's AI Role Play lets managers set the buyer's persona, demeanour, questions and objections. Its AI Assistant drafts a role play from your goals and SalesHood content, and the AI grades each attempt against a scorecard of up to 10 criteria, with an 80% default pass mark for certification and written feedback after every attempt. Managers review results and add their own coaching, and live talking avatars are in beta. Run the same scenario and rubric in both before you decide.

Which supports more languages, Mindtickle or SalesHood?

Mindtickle says reps can practise role plays in 25+ languages, and its FAQ says the platform supports training and feedback in multiple languages without giving a count (Mindtickle). SalesHood launched native support for 19 languages on 9 July 2026, saying the platform is "fully accessible" in them across content management, learning, coaching, AI role plays and buyer engagement; pitch submissions, role plays, coaching exercises and AI feedback are delivered in the user's selected language (SalesHood). Its list counts Brazilian and European Portuguese separately and includes Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Thai and Turkish.

On SalesHood, language support depends on the edition: the table allows 2 languages on Essential, 6 on Pro and unlimited on Unlimited, whose card lists "Global Languages Support". The Mindtickle pages we checked state no edition limits on languages. If your reps sell in more than six languages, compare SalesHood's Unlimited edition with a Mindtickle quote that names every language you need, and ask Mindtickle whether its 25+ languages cover the interface and courses as well as role play and feedback.

How does Mindtickle pricing compare to SalesHood pricing?

Neither lists prices on its pricing page, but SalesHood shows more of its packaging. Its pricing page, modified on 4 September 2026, shows three editions: Essential (content and knowledge, training and onboarding, seller readiness, AI practice and standard integrations), Pro (adding digital sales rooms, mutual action plans, guided selling, AI coaching and advanced reporting) and Unlimited (adding unlimited AI coaching, unlimited page personalisation, global language support and premium customer success). It shows no price, billing unit, minimum seats or free trial, and asks buyers to talk to its team. Mindtickle's role-play page says pricing depends on company size and team structure and that there is no self-serve free version, though a free demo is available. G2 lists its Enable and Readiness packages as "Contact Us".

Third-party data is uneven. Vendr reports a median Mindtickle contract of $44,356 a year (65 purchases, February 2026), ranging from $11,157 to $138,726, and says Call AI is typically an add-on to the core readiness platform, while Digital Sales Rooms and Revenue Intelligence add an estimated 20–40% to contract value when bundled with it. Vendr also has a SalesHood page, last updated February 2026, but it states no purchase count behind its figures, so we do not repeat them and have no like-for-like benchmark to set against the Mindtickle figure. Vendr describes SalesHood pricing as per user per month, with annual contracts standard. G2 shows a per-user starting price for SalesHood with no update date and an edition list ("Pro, Essential, Tranform") that does not match SalesHood's current editions, so we do not repeat it.

To compare quotes, price the same users, languages and practice volume. With SalesHood, check which edition your role-play volume and language count require; with Mindtickle, check whether Call AI, sales rooms and multilingual role play are in the quote or sold as add-ons. The Mindtickle pricing guide lists its cost drivers and the questions to ask.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better, Mindtickle or SalesHood?

Neither is better in general. Mindtickle suits readiness teams that want skills scored against CRM outcomes, call recording and scoring, and role play in 25+ languages. SalesHood suits teams that build programmes from their own content and want AI practice and language limits published by edition. How much do Mindtickle and SalesHood cost?

Neither lists prices on its pricing page. Vendr reports a median Mindtickle contract of $44,356 a year (65 purchases, February 2026). Its SalesHood page gives no purchase count, so we do not quote its figures. SalesHood's pricing page lists Essential, Pro and Unlimited editions without prices; Mindtickle's role-play page says pricing depends on company size and team structure.

Does SalesHood limit AI role play?

Yes, by edition. AI Role Play and AI Pitch Practice are capped at 10 submissions per licence on Essential and 80 on Pro, and are unlimited on Unlimited. Mindtickle's pricing page lists no plans or caps, and its role-play page says reps can practise as many times as they like; ask either vendor to confirm limits in the contract.

Do Mindtickle and SalesHood support languages other than English?

Yes. Mindtickle says role plays run in 25+ languages. SalesHood added native support for 19 languages across content, learning, coaching, role plays and buyer engagement in July 2026; its editions allow 2 languages on Essential, 6 on Pro and unlimited on Unlimited.

What are the alternatives to Mindtickle and SalesHood?
