9 Best Revenue Intelligence Software in 2026

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

The best revenue intelligence software in 2026 depends on where your deal data already lives. Aviso, Backstory (formerly People.ai) and Terret (formerly BoostUp) are standalone revenue intelligence platforms; Gong, Outreach and Salesloft, which now sells Clari Forecast, add forecasting to conversation or engagement data; Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft build it into the CRM.

Below are nine tools grouped by type, each with its published pricing model, one limitation and the team it suits.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and does not sell a revenue intelligence tool, so it is not included. Tools are grouped by type, with each vendor’s own published information checked on 20 October 2026. Within each group they are listed alphabetically; the order is not a ranking.

What is revenue intelligence software?

Revenue intelligence software captures sales activity and deal data automatically, connects it to accounts and opportunities, and uses it to inspect pipeline, forecast the period and flag deals at risk. It relies less on what sellers type into the CRM and more on a record of what buyers actually did. Our guide to how revenue intelligence works covers the signals worth acting on and a 90-day rollout. The software does four jobs:

  • Capture email, calendar, call and CRM activity without manual logging.
  • Inspect pipeline: which deals moved, slipped or went quiet.
  • Forecast with roll-ups by team and category, often with an AI projection to set against the reps’ call.
  • Flag risk : stalled deals, missing stakeholders, pushed close dates, competitor activity.

Revenue intelligence vs conversation intelligence: what is the difference?

Conversation intelligence records and analyzes calls and meetings to show how reps sell and what buyers say. Revenue intelligence uses those conversations as one input, alongside CRM history and email and calendar activity, to judge which deals will close and what the forecast should be. Several vendors here sell both; for the call-analysis side, see our list of the best conversation intelligence software.

How to choose revenue intelligence software

  • CRM fit: which CRMs it reads and writes back to, and whether it can combine several.
  • Capture coverage: which of email, calendar, calls and content views it captures automatically.
  • Forecast method: roll-ups that match your hierarchy, plus an AI projection to compare with the reps’ commit.
  • Explainable risk: sellers can see which signals produced a risk flag or score.
  • Where findings appear: the CRM, Slack, Teams or an AI assistant, or only the vendor’s app.
  • Data governance: recording consent, retention, access roles, and whether your data trains the vendor’s models.
  • Pricing model: per user, platform fee, AI credits or consumption, and who needs a paid seat.

Then run a backtest. Export 20 to 30 deals that closed last quarter, won and lost, and ask each vendor to show what its risk flags and forecast would have said a month before close. A tool that would have flagged your slipped deals early earns its place. Ask whether it can rebuild history from your CRM’s field history or only from the day it connects, and check those fields first with our guide to CRM data quality for forecasting.

Standalone revenue intelligence platforms

Aviso

Aviso describes itself as an end-to-end AI revenue platform combining agentic AI, forecasting, conversation intelligence and RevOps (Aviso homepage, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: revenue forecasting with an at-risk deals view; pipeline inspection for gaps and red flags; conversation intelligence that ties call behavior to win probability; relationship and marketing intelligence; task-based agents and a no-code GTM Agent Studio.
  • Pricing: the Aviso pricing page shows no prices and offers a tailored proposal; its page description mentions flexible per-user plans, and it offers free migration.
  • Limitation: the homepage does not list which CRMs or integrations Aviso supports, so confirm coverage for yours.
  • Choose it if: you want forecasting, call analysis and configurable AI agents from one vendor.

Backstory (formerly People.ai)

People.ai announced its new name, Backstory, in a press release dated 21 April 2026 (republished by CMSWire). On 20 October 2026, people.ai redirected to backstory.ai, whose FAQ says “People.ai is now Backstory” and describes it as the same product and data infrastructure (Backstory homepage).

  • Standout capabilities: automatic activity capture; pipeline health and deal risk (forecasting, waterfall charts, risk headlines); MEDDPICC opportunity scoring; automated account plans; answers delivered into Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Slack or Gemini, including through an MCP server. It names Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle as CRMs and can connect several at once.
  • Pricing: the Backstory pricing page shows no prices or feature tiers: customer-facing people whose activity feeds it carry a platform fee, each with a pooled consumption allotment for answers. Managers and finance viewers need no paid seat.
  • Limitation: heavier use is not back-billed but resizes the contract at renewal, so ask for usage reporting.
  • Choose it if: you run more than one CRM, or want deal answers inside the AI assistants your team already uses.

Terret (formerly BoostUp)

On 20 October 2026, boostup.ai redirected to terret.ai, and a Terret page states “BoostUp is now Terret” (Welcome to Terret, last modified 27 April 2026). Its products are Terret Nexus, Terret Forecast and Terret Conversation Intelligence (Terret homepage).

  • Standout capabilities: the Terret Forecast page shows AI forecasts set against rep commits; deal health scores (its example covers engagement, stage velocity, stakeholders and activity recency); early warning on deals likely to slip or stall; and mitigation guidance for pipeline risks. It lists Salesforce and HubSpot as CRM sources, plus Gong, Chorus, Gmail, Outlook, Outreach and Apollo among integrations (Terret Forecast, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: no prices or pricing link on the homepage; it offers a free 48-hour proof of concept.
  • Limitation: the name is new and the login still runs on app.boostup.ai, so expect reviews and documentation under the BoostUp name.
  • Choose it if: you want a forecast-first platform tested on your own data before a long evaluation.

Revenue intelligence built on conversation or engagement data

Gong

Gong Forecast is Gong’s AI forecasting product, “powered by the Gong Revenue AI OS” (Gong Forecast, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: Gong Forecast Essentials covers pipeline inspection and lists unlimited deal boards, account boards, AI Deal Reviewer, win/loss insights and deal drivers; Gong Forecast adds forecast submission, AI Deal Predictor, forecast analytics and AI Revenue Predictor.
  • Pricing: the Gong pricing page prices licenses per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users, with no amounts; integrations are free.
  • Limitation: forecast submission and AI Deal Predictor need full Gong Forecast rather than Essentials, so check which tier a proposal includes.
  • Choose it if: your team already records calls in Gong and you want deal inspection and the forecast in one system.

Outreach

Outreach sells forecasting, deal management and pipeline management inside its Amplify plans, next to sequences and AI agents (Outreach forecasting, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: automated forecast roll-ups; a scenario planner; an AI projection of where the period might finish; parallel and line-item forecasts; and, in the Essentials, Plus and Pro plans, deal management, a Deal Agent, deal health and alerts, and pipeline management.
  • Pricing: the Outreach pricing page shows “Request pricing” for all four Amplify plans, states per-user pricing with no platform fees, and includes consumption-based AI credits in each plan.
  • Limitation: forecasting features (AI Forecast Projection, Scenario Planner, Forecast Rollups) are listed only in Amplify Pro.
  • Choose it if: reps already sequence in Outreach and you want deal health and forecasting in the same tool.

Salesloft (Clari Forecast)

Clari and Salesloft completed their merger on 3 December 2025 (Salesloft newsroom). Since 2 September 2026, Salesloft has been the company and platform brand, and Clari Forecast keeps the Clari name (Salesloft brand release). On 20 October 2026, Clari’s Forecast page redirected to Salesloft’s.

  • Standout capabilities: Clari Forecast with commit, best case and pipeline views by region, segment or renewals; an AI Forecast Agent using historical deal data and live rep activity; at-risk deals with tasks created from the forecast (Salesloft sales forecasting). The platform also lists Inspect, Signals, Cadence, Conversation Intelligence, Deals and Rhythm (Clari is now Salesloft).
  • Pricing: the Salesloft pricing page (checked 20 October 2026) lists no plans or prices and routes buyers to sales.
  • Limitation: the merger page says Clari capabilities “will continue under the Salesloft name” and still shows separate log-ins for Drift, Groove and Conversations, so confirm which products a quote covers.
  • Choose it if: forecasting comes first, you run Clari today, or your reps work in Salesloft cadences.

Revenue intelligence built into the CRM

HubSpot Sales Hub

HubSpot sells forecasting inside Sales Hub rather than as a separate revenue intelligence product (HubSpot forecasting software, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: customizable forecast categories; team roll-ups with submission permissions; forecasts across multiple pipelines; weighted-pipeline reporting with historical snapshots; deal inspection. Enterprise adds forecasting across team hierarchies and conversation intelligence with tracked terms.
  • Pricing: the Sales Hub pricing page lists forecasting from Professional, shown at $90 and $100 per seat per month with monthly and annual billing, plus a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee; Enterprise starts at $150 per seat per month plus $3,500 onboarding.
  • Limitation: conversation intelligence is listed only in Enterprise, so a Professional forecast runs on CRM data without call analysis.
  • Choose it if: HubSpot is your CRM and you want forecasting without another vendor.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

Microsoft packages these features into its higher Dynamics 365 Sales plans (Dynamics 365 Sales pricing, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: conversation intelligence with pipeline analysis, relationship analytics, predictive opportunity scoring and pipeline intelligence in Sales Enterprise (as included capacity) and Premium; predictive forecasting in Premium only; Copilot, with Premium adding 1,000 Copilot Credits per user per month.
  • Pricing: Sales Enterprise is $105 and Sales Premium $150 per user per month, paid yearly.
  • Limitation: predictive forecasting is listed only in Premium. For 50 sellers, moving from Enterprise to Premium adds $45 per user per month at list, or $27,000 a year.
  • Choose it if: Dynamics 365 is your CRM and you want forecasting and call analysis from Microsoft.

Salesforce (Pipeline Inspection and Revenue Intelligence)

Salesforce splits this in two. Pipeline Inspection is “included for all customers on Enterprise Edition and above” (Salesforce Admins blog, 7 August 2024). Revenue Intelligence is a paid product with Revenue Insights dashboards and AI-powered insights (Revenue Intelligence pricing; product page, both checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: Pipeline Inspection tracks changes to amount, stage, close date and next steps, shows deal risks such as repeated close-date slips, and rates deals with Einstein Opportunity Scoring. The Revenue Intelligence feature tables also list Deal Health Insights and collaborative and predictive forecasting.
  • Pricing: Revenue Intelligence is $220 per user per month billed annually, or $250 with Tableau; it is included in Max Edition or sold separately.
  • Limitation: Salesforce does not currently offer trial licenses for Revenue Intelligence, so ask how to evaluate it on your own pipeline.
  • Choose it if: Salesforce is your system of record and you want inspection and forecasting native to it.

A digital sales room adds that evidence: Revspire Digital Sales Rooms give each deal a branded room with a mutual action plan, stakeholder mapping, shared content and real-time buyer engagement analytics, one more input when you judge deal risk. Frequently asked questions

What is the best revenue intelligence software?

It depends on your CRM and where your activity data sits. Test your CRM’s own forecasting first, then the forecasting of any engagement or call-recording vendor you already use; Aviso, Backstory and Terret suit teams wanting a dedicated layer. Backtest any shortlist on last quarter’s closed deals.

How much does revenue intelligence software cost?

CRM-native options publish list prices: Salesforce Revenue Intelligence is $220 per user per month billed annually, Dynamics 365 Sales Premium $150 per user per month paid yearly, and HubSpot Sales Hub Professional $90 to $100 per seat per month (checked 20 October 2026). The other six quote through sales, on models ranging from per user plus a platform fee (Gong) to a platform fee with pooled consumption (Backstory).

Which tools provide deal risk alerts?

Terret flags deals likely to slip or stall, Outreach lists Deal Health and Alerts, Backstory shows risk headlines, Clari Forecast and Aviso highlight at-risk deals, and Salesforce Pipeline Inspection shows deal risks such as close-date slips. Which signals deserve an alert matters more; our guide to AI deal risk signals covers that.

Is Clari part of Salesloft now?

Yes. Clari and Salesloft completed their merger on 3 December 2025, and since 2 September 2026 Salesloft has been the company and platform brand, with Clari Forecast keeping the Clari name. Clari customers should ask how product changes affect their contract.

What happened to People.ai and BoostUp?

People.ai became Backstory (press release dated 21 April 2026), which says it is the same product and data infrastructure. A Terret page announces that BoostUp is now Terret, and boostup.ai now redirects to terret.ai.

Does HubSpot have revenue intelligence?

Not under that name: HubSpot’s Sales Hub pricing page does not use the term. Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise include forecasting, and Enterprise adds conversation intelligence, which together cover much of the job for HubSpot teams. HubSpot’s Revenue Hub is a different product, for quoting, billing and payments.

How we checked these tools

We described each tool from its own product and pricing pages on 20 October 2026, without hands-on testing, review ratings or vendor accuracy claims. Name changes and mergers are stated as the companies stated them. InsightSquared is not listed: its site (last modified March 2023) sends demo and pricing links to Mediafly, whose homepage lists no forecasting or revenue intelligence product (InsightSquared; Mediafly).
