Does Gong publish its pricing?

Gong pricing is quote-based. Gong prices licences per user plus a platform fee, with applications such as Engage and Forecast added to a core licence. Vendr's March 2026 data (1,145 purchases) puts the median contract at $55,359 a year, ranging $11,497 to $203,683.

Not on its pricing page. Gong's pricing page shows no plans, prices or FAQ when we checked on 20 October 2026. It says the price "depends on a few factors specific to your team": licences are priced per user, there is a platform fee based on the number of users supported, and you can integrate your existing tech stack for free. A form asks how big your team is, in bands of 1–50, 51–1,000, 1,001–9,999 and 10,000+, before Gong prepares a customised proposal.

Gong's Buying Gong FAQ explains the rest. Gong "determines pricing through a consultative approach" and builds each proposal around the buyer instead of offering standardised packages, factoring in the number of users, the modules selected (forecasting, engagement and enablement) and the integrations required. The price covers access to the platform, product updates, customer support and enterprise security and compliance features, and customers scale by adding features or user licences.

G2 lists no Gong editions or prices either. It masks its own estimate, says its Gong pricing information was last updated on 13 September 2024, and states that Gong does not offer a free trial.

How is Gong packaged? Foundation, applications and seats

Gong's help-centre article on plans and seats, last modified on 8 January 2026, says a plan is a core licence for the Gong Foundation platform, any applications added to it, and a number of seats for each. It names five applications: Enable Essentials, Forecast Essentials, Gong Forecast, Gong Engage and Data Cloud. The article was last modified before VentureBeat reported on 25 February 2026 that Gong Enable is a new product with its own pricing tier, and it does not name Gong Enable. Here is what each part covers and what Gong or Vendr says about its price:

Gong EngageEngage Flows, email with AI Composer, AI Tasker, a dialer, dashboards, Gong Enrich and Gong Anywhere for flows, emails and calls inside Salesforce (Gong Engage). Not listed by Gong. Vendr says Engage and Forecast are commonly quoted at 20–40% of the base platform cost per seat.
Forecast EssentialsUnlimited Deal Boards, Account Boards, AI Deal Reviewer, Win/Loss Insights and Deal Drivers. Not listed by Gong.
Gong ForecastEverything in Forecast Essentials plus forecast submission, AI Deal Predictor, Forecast Analytics and AI Revenue Predictor (Gong Forecast). Not listed by Gong; Vendr's 20–40% estimate covers Forecast too.
Enable Essentials and Gong EnableAI-based coaching; the help centre lists AI Trainer voice role play on the Enable plan only (help centre). Not listed by Gong. Our Gong Enable pricing guide covers the plans and the one estimate we found.
Data CloudInfrastructure to export Gong-enriched data to external data platforms. Not listed by Gong.
CollaboratorsTeam members without a seat, with limited access to Gong capabilities.Free of charge.

The same article says that, if your company is eligible, extra seats bought in the admin centre can be used straight away and are prorated to the end of your subscription term, with an invoice usually sent within two to three days. We found no Gong page that prices any application or offers one without the Foundation licence.

Older contracts use older plan names. If your last renewal was before March 2025, the help centre says you stay on a previous plan: Gong Core Professional, Gong Forecast and Gong Engage for companies that onboarded between 2022 and 2025, or Coaching, Professional and Enterprise for those that onboarded before 2022. Ask how your plan maps to Foundation and its applications before your next renewal.

What are Gong credits, and when do AI features cost extra?

Gong now adds a usage-based layer on top of seats. Its help article About Gong credits, updated on 20 October 2026, says each paid core seat includes 2,000 credits a year. Credits are shared across the company rather than given to individuals, and the allocation resets at the start of each contract year, so 100 paid core seats would share a pool of 200,000 credits a year. Gong's Credits FAQ adds that application seats such as Gong Forecast, Gong Engage and Gong Enable get no credit allocation of their own.

Credits apply to "select features that process data automatically or at scale": question-based AI Trackers, the AI Ask Anything and AI Briefer APIs, the MCP server, Deep Mode in Gong Assistant and Gong Enrich. Gong's Credits FAQ also lists Automated Briefs, with AI Data Extractor coming soon. Pre-trained AI Trackers, manual actions and single-use AI actions such as call summaries, AI Composer and AI Builder use no credits, and neither does Enrich run through your own data provider's key.

Extra credits are bought through the Gong account team in predefined bundles, invoiced in full upfront; Gong says self-serve purchase and automatic top-ups are planned. Neither the Credits FAQ nor the help article lists a price per credit or per bundle. Default credits expire at the end of each contract year without rolling over, purchased credits at the end of the full contract term, and promotional credits 90 days after they are issued. Gong MCP is listed as available on any Gong plan, but its server is one of the features that draws on the pool, so estimate how much your team and its AI tools will use it before you sign.

How much does Gong cost per user and per year?

Vendr has the largest dated sample. It reports a median Gong contract of $55,359 a year from 1,145 purchases (last updated March 2026), ranging from $11,497 to $203,683. The page header shows 593 deals handled rather than 1,145 and does not explain the gap, so treat the figures as directional. Vendr describes a per-seat, per-year model with tiered packaging by feature access and team size, and says Gong offers no free tier or self-serve pricing.

Vendr's observed per-seat prices run from $1,200 to $2,400 a year for mid-market and enterprise buyers. It breaks that down further: roughly $1,400 to $2,000 per seat for 25 to 75 seats on what it calls a standard tier, $1,800 to $2,600 for 50 to 150 seats on an advanced tier, and $1,200 to $1,800 per seat for enterprise deals of 100 seats or more. Those tier labels are Vendr's, not plan names from Gong's help centre, so ask Gong to show the platform fee and each application separately before you compare a quote with them.

Gong-wide figures say little about a single application. For Gong Enable, the only figure we found is a spoken estimate from Gong's chief product officer, reported by VentureBeat in February 2026, of "in the tens of dollars per seat per month"; the Gong Enable pricing guide covers it in detail.

What drives the cost of a Gong contract?

Gong's pricing page, buying FAQ and help centre name the inputs to a quote; the percentages are Vendr's observations, not Gong terms:

  • Users. Licences are priced per user, and seats are assigned per person for the core licence and for each application. People without a seat are free Collaborators with limited access.
  • The platform fee. Gong adds a platform fee based on the number of users supported and does not give the amount on its pricing page. Vendr says some contracts include a base platform or onboarding fee.
  • Applications. Gong's proposals factor in the modules selected. Vendr says Engage and Forecast are commonly quoted at 20–40% of the base platform cost per seat, and that add-ons can add 20–50% to total contract value.
  • AI credits. The shared pool of 2,000 credits per paid core seat covers automated and at-scale AI use; anything beyond it is bought in prepaid bundles.
  • Term. Vendr reports 1-, 2- and 3-year commitments and says two- and three-year terms commonly unlock 15–30% lower annual pricing than one-year deals. Gong's pricing page lists no contract length.
  • Services. Gong says integrating your existing stack is free and puts onboarding at 2 to 6 weeks. Vendr says standard onboarding and training are typically included, while custom integrations and data migrations may be billed separately.
  • Growth and renewals. Seats added mid-term are prorated to the end of the term. Vendr says Gong contracts often include auto-renewal clauses with price escalation terms, for example 5–10% annual increases.

Can you buy Gong through a cloud marketplace or start with a pilot?

Yes to both. Gong's AWS Marketplace listing, sold by Gong.io, uses contract pricing with Conversation Intelligence, Engage and Forecast dimensions, each marked "Available Through Private Offer Only", and 12-, 24- and 36-month contract options. Treat it as a purchasing route, not a price list: your terms come from the private offer. On 1 July 2026 Gong also said it is available in Microsoft Marketplace, where buyers can use Azure Consumption Commitments (MACC).

Gong's pricing page and buying FAQ mention no free plan or self-serve trial, and Vendr says Gong does not offer a self-serve free trial. The buying FAQ says you can start with a pilot group before a full rollout and that pilots typically wrap up within a few weeks; Vendr says trials are managed by Gong's sales team and typically run 14 to 30 days.

What should you ask Gong before signing?

  • What are the per-seat prices for the Foundation licence and for each application, and what is the platform fee, shown as separate lines?
  • How is the platform fee calculated, and how does it change as you add users during the term or at renewal?
  • Which people need a paid seat, and what can free Collaborators see and do?
  • How many credits will your pool hold, how many does each credit-based feature you plan to use consume, and what does an extra bundle cost?
  • If your last renewal was before March 2025, what changes when you move to the Foundation plan, and do features you use today become paid applications or credit-based?
  • What are the renewal cap, notice period and auto-renewal terms, and can you buy through an AWS or Microsoft Marketplace private offer to draw down a cloud commitment?

Frequently asked questions

How much does Gong cost per user?

Gong's pricing page lists no per-user price. Vendr reports observed prices of $1,200 to $2,400 per seat a year for mid-market and enterprise buyers, and a median contract of $55,359 a year across 1,145 purchases (March 2026). Gong also charges a platform fee based on the number of users supported.

What is the Gong platform fee?

Gong's pricing page says there is a platform fee based on the number of users supported, charged alongside per-user licences. The page does not give the amount, so ask for it as a separate line in your quote.

Do Gong's AI features cost extra?

Some draw on Gong credits. Each paid core seat includes 2,000 credits a year, pooled across the company. The MCP server, Deep Mode, Gong Enrich and question-based AI Trackers use credits; call summaries and AI Composer do not. Extra credits come in prepaid bundles, and Gong's Credits FAQ lists no bundle prices.

How much do Gong Engage and Gong Forecast cost?

Gong does not list prices for either on its pricing page or the Engage and Forecast product pages. Vendr says both are commonly quoted at 20–40% of the base platform cost per seat, and Gong's buying FAQ says proposals factor in the modules you select.

Does Gong offer a free trial?

Not a self-serve one: G2 states that Gong does not offer a free trial, and Vendr says it has no free tier or self-serve free trial. Gong supports starting with a pilot group before a full rollout, and Vendr says sales-managed trials typically run 14 to 30 days.

How long are Gong contracts?

Gong's pricing page does not say. Vendr reports 1-, 2- and 3-year commitments, with longer terms commonly 15–30% cheaper per year, and Gong's AWS Marketplace listing offers 12-, 24- and 36-month private-offer contracts.
