10 Best Sales Forecasting Software in 2026

A practical perspective for connecting this idea to your revenue team’s next move.

The best sales forecasting software in 2026 depends on where your pipeline lives. Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365 forecast inside the CRM; Clari Forecast (now sold by Salesloft), Gong, Aviso, Outreach and Terret (formerly BoostUp) add AI projections and deal inspection; Anaplan and Pigment model sales forecasts inside wider business plans.

Below are ten tools grouped by type, each with its published pricing, one limitation and the team it suits.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and does not sell a sales forecasting tool, so it is not included. Tools are grouped by type, with each vendor’s own published information checked on 20 October 2026. Within each group they are listed alphabetically; the order is not a ranking.

What is sales forecasting software?

Sales forecasting software rolls open pipeline up into a forecast for each rep, team and period, so leaders can call the number and see which deals it rests on. It typically handles:

  • Roll-ups through the hierarchy, territories or segments.
  • Forecast categories such as commit, best case and pipeline.
  • Submissions: reps submit a call, managers adjust it, past calls are kept.
  • AI projections to set against the reps’ call.
  • Deal inspection: which deals moved, slipped or changed amount.

Forecasting software answers one question: what will we close this period, and which deals does that depend on? Revenue intelligence software captures email, call and meeting activity to judge deal health more broadly, with the forecast as one output; our list of the best revenue intelligence software covers that category. To pick a method before a tool, see our guide to sales forecast methodology.

How to choose sales forecasting software

  • CRM fit: native to your CRM, or reads it and writes back.
  • Hierarchy and categories: roll-ups by manager, territory, segment or product line.
  • Submission workflow: deadlines, who can submit or override, and past calls kept.
  • An AI projection you can question: its data, how often it recalculates, whether it explains the number.
  • Deal inspection: changes to stage, amount and close date since the last call.
  • Forecast types: new business, renewals, consumption, multi-currency or line items.
  • Pricing and seats: which tier holds forecasting, and whether managers need paid seats.

Then ask each vendor to show what its projection would have said four weeks before last quarter closed, on your own data.

CRM-native sales forecasting

HubSpot Sales Hub

HubSpot sells forecasting inside Sales Hub and Service Hub rather than as a separate product (HubSpot forecasting software, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: customizable forecast categories; limits on who can submit, with managers able to update their reps’ forecasts; a team roll-up that follows your users-and-teams hierarchy; forecasts across multiple pipelines, including renewals; weighted pipeline and historical snapshots. The forecast tool article (updated 7 August 2026) lists it for Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or Enterprise.
  • Pricing: the Sales Hub pricing page shows Professional starting at $90/mo/seat with Pay Annually, or $100/mo/seat with Pay Monthly (commit annually), plus a required one-time $1,500 onboarding; Enterprise starts at $150/mo/seat plus $3,500 onboarding.
  • Limitation: forecasting across team hierarchies is listed only in Enterprise.
  • Choose it if: HubSpot is your CRM.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

Microsoft builds forecasting into Dynamics 365 Sales and adds AI predictions in Premium (Dynamics 365 Sales pricing, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: a forecast grid showing Quota, Committed, Best Case, Pipeline, Omitted, Won and Lost, rolled up by manager or territory (View a forecast, 29 May 2026); manager adjustments for things not yet in the system (forecasting overview, 7 May 2026). Predictive forecasting adds a Prediction column built from historical close rates and pipeline trajectory (predictive forecasting, 7 May 2026).
  • Pricing: Sales Enterprise is $105.00 and Sales Premium $150.00 user/month, paid yearly; Sales Professional ($65.00) lists no forecasting. Predictive forecasting is Premium only.
  • Limitation: predictions recalculate every seven days and cannot be refreshed manually.
  • Choose it if: Dynamics 365 is your CRM and you want an AI number in the same grid as the reps’ call.

Salesforce Sales Cloud

Salesforce spreads forecasting across its editions and a Revenue Intelligence add-on (Sales Cloud pricing; Revenue Intelligence pricing, both checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: Salesforce’s comparison page (13 March 2026) describes forecast categories mapped to sales stages, adjustments by team and product family, and combined consumption, renewal and new-business views. Revenue Intelligence lists Collaborative and Predictive Forecasting, Pipeline Inspection and Flow, and Einstein Opportunity Scoring & Deal Health Insights.
  • Pricing: Pro Suite is $100 USD/user/month (billed annually) and lists “Sales Quoting and Forecasting”; Core is $195 (billed annually) and, per the pricing FAQ, adds “advanced pipeline management and forecasting”. The comparison table also lists Predictive Forecasting, marked “Available for purchase” for one edition; confirm with Salesforce which edition includes it. Revenue Intelligence is $220 USD/user/month (billed annually), or included in Max ($550, billed annually).
  • Limitation: Salesforce does not currently offer trial licenses for Revenue Intelligence.
  • Choose it if: Salesforce is your system of record.

Dedicated forecasting and revenue platforms

Aviso

Aviso sells revenue forecasting as one of its core products (Aviso Revenue Forecasting, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: roll-ups across every rep, category and team, with best-case and most-likely views and pacing against target; an AI Forecast with an explanation view; Winscore deal scores, which reps use to move deals in or out of commit; Aviso Mobile for running forecast calls and deal reviews away from the office; consumption forecasting that turns product usage into ARR or MRR.
  • Pricing: the Aviso pricing page shows no prices and offers a tailored proposal.
  • Limitation: the forecasting page names only Salesforce while saying it works with any CRM, so confirm yours.
  • Choose it if: you want one forecast covering new business and usage-based revenue.

Clari Forecast (Salesloft)

Clari and Salesloft completed their merger on 3 December 2025 (Salesloft newsroom). Since 2 September 2026 Salesloft has been the company and platform brand, and Clari Forecast keeps the Clari name (Salesloft brand release). On 20 October 2026, Clari’s Forecast page redirected to Salesloft’s.

  • Standout capabilities: an AI Forecast Agent that analyzes historical deal data and live rep activity; forecasts by bookings, renewals, region, segment or period, with commit, best case, pipeline and coverage; flags for slipping deals and stalled buying activity; tasks created from the forecast (Salesloft sales forecasting, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: the Salesloft pricing page lists no plans or prices.
  • Limitation: the Clari is now Salesloft page still shows separate log-ins for Salesloft, Clari Forecast, Conversations, Drift and Groove, so confirm which products a quote covers.
  • Choose it if: the forecast call is the main job, you run Clari today, or reps work in Salesloft.

Gong Forecast

Gong sells forecasting in two versions, Gong Forecast Essentials and Gong Forecast, which it says turn real customer interactions and activity into forecasts (Gong Forecast, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: Gong Forecast Essentials covers pipeline inspection, with unlimited deal boards, AI Deal Reviewer and win/loss insights. Gong Forecast adds forecast submission, AI Deal Predictor, forecast analytics and AI Revenue Predictor.
  • Pricing: the Gong pricing page prices licenses per user plus a platform fee based on the number of users, with no amounts.
  • Limitation: forecast submission and AI Deal Predictor need full Gong Forecast, not Essentials.
  • Choose it if: you already record calls in Gong.

Outreach

Outreach sells forecasting on the same AI platform as its sales engagement tools, and its pricing page lists the forecasting features in the Amplify Pro plan (Outreach forecasting, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: an AI Projection of where the period might finish, including intraquarter and pulled-in deals; automated roll-ups from rep to top-line call; a scenario planner; parallel forecasts with submission history; multi-currency and line-item forecasting by product or SKU.
  • Pricing: the Outreach pricing page shows “Request pricing” for all four Amplify plans and states per-user pricing with no platform fees.
  • Limitation: AI Forecast Projection, Scenario Planner and Forecast Rollups are listed only in Amplify Pro.
  • Choose it if: reps already sequence in Outreach.

Terret (formerly BoostUp)

On 20 October 2026, boostup.ai redirected to terret.ai, and a Terret page states “BoostUp is now Terret” (Welcome to Terret, last modified 27 April 2026). Its products include Terret Forecast (Terret homepage).

  • Standout capabilities: a roll-up of Booked, Commit, Best case and Pipeline; an AI forecast set against each rep’s commit; deal health scores; early warning on deals likely to slip or stall. It lists Salesforce and HubSpot as CRM sources (Terret Forecast, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: no prices shown; the homepage offers a free 48-hour proof of concept on last quarter’s closed-lost deals.
  • Limitation: the forecasting page describes no submission workflow, and the login still runs on app.boostup.ai.
  • Choose it if: you want a second, AI-built number beside your reps’ commits.

Planning tools used for sales forecasts

These forecast at plan level: expected sales and revenue under different scenarios, tied to quota, capacity and finance plans. Neither vendor’s sales forecasting page describes rep-by-rep submissions.

Anaplan

Anaplan’s Sales Forecasting application rolls forecasts into a single view for the CRO and links scenario-based forecasts to revenue, demand and workforce planning (Anaplan Sales Forecasting app, checked 20 October 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: AI that combines GTM team forecasts and revenue models into one figure; best-case, probable-case and worst-case scenarios; seller account planning and analytics for coaching.
  • Pricing: no prices on the page, which offers a demo request.
  • Limitation: Anaplan Data Orchestrator’s Salesforce connector needs a connected app configured in Salesforce, plus a client ID, client secret and refresh token (Anapedia, 31 January 2026).
  • Choose it if: finance and sales need one forecast tied to quota and the operating plan.

Pigment

Pigment calls itself AI business planning and EPM software for mid-market and large enterprises, with sales forecasting among its use cases (Pigment information page, May 2026).

  • Standout capabilities: data imported from CRM, ERP, HRIS and ATS systems; best case, baseline and other scenarios with variance analysis; pipeline drill-down; rep performance by stage, region or deal type (Pigment sales forecasting, checked 20 October 2026).
  • Pricing: no prices shown; it offers a free trial and a demo.
  • Limitation: the Salesforce connector imports a report of up to 2,000 rows; larger datasets need a SOQL query (Pigment knowledge base, 9 January 2026).
  • Choose it if: RevOps and finance want forecasts, quotas and capacity in one model.

How do you run a forecast call with these tools?

  • Set a submission deadline. HubSpot lets you limit who submits; Outreach keeps submission history.
  • Let managers adjust the call, as Dynamics 365 allows, and note why.
  • Put the AI number beside the call: Dynamics 365’s Prediction column, Outreach’s AI Projection, Clari’s AI Forecast Agent or Gong’s AI Deal Predictor.
  • Inspect the gap, then slipped close dates and stalled deals.
  • Score the call against actuals at period end.

Our guide to forecast cadence covers the weekly rhythm. One caution: Microsoft’s documentation says its forecasting should not be used to make decisions that affect employment, including compensation. Check each vendor’s terms and your own policies before forecast data feeds performance or pay decisions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best sales forecasting software?

It depends on your CRM. Test your CRM’s own forecasting first, then the forecasting in any call-recording or engagement tool you already pay for; Clari Forecast, Aviso and Terret suit teams that want a dedicated layer. Ask each to replay last quarter on your data.

What is AI sales forecasting?

A model estimates what the period will close from history and current pipeline, separately from the reps’ call. Dynamics 365’s predictive forecasting, for example, uses historical close rates and pipeline trajectory. Use the AI number to decide which deals to inspect, not to replace the call.

How much does sales forecasting software cost?

Of these ten, only the three CRMs show prices on the pages we checked: HubSpot Sales Hub Professional starts at $90/mo/seat with Pay Annually ($100/mo/seat with Pay Monthly, commit annually), Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise is $105 and Premium $150 user/month paid yearly, and Salesforce Pro Suite is $100 and Core $195 per user per month billed annually (checked 20 October 2026). As a worked example, for 30 sellers, moving Dynamics 365 from Enterprise to Premium adds $45 per user per month at list, or $16,200 a year.

Does HubSpot have sales forecasting?

Yes, in Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise: forecast categories, submissions, team roll-ups and weighted pipeline. Forecasting across team hierarchies is listed only in Enterprise.

Is Clari part of Salesloft now?

Yes. Clari and Salesloft completed their merger on 3 December 2025, and since 2 September 2026 Salesloft has been the company and platform brand, with Clari Forecast keeping the Clari name.

Can Anaplan or Pigment replace sales forecasting software?

They model sales forecasts as scenarios tied to quota, capacity and finance plans. Their sales forecasting pages do not describe rep-by-rep submissions or deal-level risk flags, so check how the weekly call would run first.

How we checked these tools

We described each tool from its own product, pricing and documentation pages on 20 October 2026, without hands-on testing or review ratings. Several vendors publish forecast-accuracy figures; we left them out because none shows a method we could check. To see deal-room buyer engagement next to your forecast, request a Revspire demo.
