Seismic or SalesHood: which should you choose?

Seismic vs SalesHood compares two quote-only revenue enablement platforms. Choose Seismic for governed content at enterprise scale, meeting intelligence, Aura AI agents and 150+ integrations, now alongside Highspot. Choose SalesHood for onboarding, certification and AI role play with per-licence caps, guided selling and buyer sites.

Choose Seismic if…

  • Content governance is the hard part: Seismic lists version control, brand compliance, LiveDocs personalisation and AI recommendations by deal stage, persona or product.
  • You want calls captured in the same platform: Seismic for Meetings automatically captures and transcribes meetings and drafts follow-ups from AI insights.
  • You want agents your other AI tools can reach: in October 2026 Seismic showed Deal Agent, Library Agent and an MCP server for assistants from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Meta.
  • You need a long integration list: Seismic claims 150+ integrations and names Salesforce, Oracle, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Gong.

Choose SalesHood if…

  • Practice and certification are the point: SalesHood AI Role Play uses live voice AI buyers, scorecards of up to 10 criteria and an 80% default pass mark for certification.
  • You want to size the edition before you see a price: SalesHood publishes caps of 10 and 80 AI practice and role-play submissions per licence on Essential and Pro, and unlimited on Unlimited.
  • You want buyer sites from your middle tier: Digital Sales Rooms are listed on the Pro edition, with mutual action plans, call recaps, video messages and CRM sync.
  • You prefer an independent vendor: SalesHood was bootstrapped in 2013 and shows no merger on its site, while Seismic is integrating Highspot.

What is the difference between Seismic and SalesHood?

Seismic is built around content. Its homepage reads "The AI platform for revenue execution", and its Enablement Cloud lists content management and library, learning and coaching, program strategy and execution, meeting intelligence and digital sales rooms (Seismic). Its content product promises "full version control, governance, and brand compliance", LiveDocs that tailor documents without manual edits, AI search, and usage data "tied directly to pipeline and revenue" (Seismic content).

SalesHood is built around programmes. It calls itself "the AI-powered revenue enablement platform for sales enablement, onboarding, coaching, and buyer engagement" and lists six applications: Content Management, Training & Onboarding, AI Coaching, AI Role Play, Guided Selling and Digital Sales Rooms (SalesHood). Its homepage names Google Drive, Microsoft, Salesforce and Slack as integrations, a much shorter list than Seismic's claimed 150+ (Seismic integrations).

Both have buyer rooms. SalesHood's Digital Sales Rooms list mutual action plans, automatic call recaps, tailored video messages, content templates, real-time engagement tracking, CRM sync of engagement signals and branded account microsites. Seismic's rooms page describes a secure space where buying teams can tag, comment and post questions, with alerts on what buyers engage with; it does not mention mutual action plans. Neither page mentions e-signature.

How do Seismic and SalesHood compare on AI role play and coaching?

SalesHood publishes the more specific role-play product. AI Role Play lets reps hold live voice conversations with an AI buyer built from a scenario; managers set the persona, demeanour, questions and objections; AI grades each criterion on a scorecard of up to 10 criteria and explains every score, with an 80% default pass mark for certification. Live talking avatars are in beta. Seismic's learning page lists AI-powered role-plays, AI feedback, AI-driven assessments and AI-guided coaching programmes, but gives no detail on voices, languages or scoring.

Seismic is further ahead on agents and calls. Aura AI describes "a unified system of agents" for enablement execution, buyer engagement and coaching, with generative AI opt-in by default and no customer data sent to third parties to train their models. At Shift on 13 October 2026 Seismic showed Deal Agent, which flags deal risks and missing stakeholders, Library Agent, which proposes content fixes for approval, and an MCP server for outside assistants (DestinationCRM). Seismic for Meetings records and transcribes meetings (Seismic meetings). SalesHood's AI Teammate covers questions, coaching and content creation; we found no MCP server or call recorder on its pages, though its rooms generate call recaps.

How does Seismic pricing compare to SalesHood pricing?

Neither publishes a price. Seismic links no pricing page from its site, and seismic.com/pricing/ did not load on 27 October 2026. Vendr reports a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year from 415 purchases (range $8,993 to $179,008), last updated February 2026; treat it as directional, since it comes from Vendr's own transactions.

SalesHood publishes structure without figures. Its pricing page shows Essential ("Build your enablement foundation."), Pro ("Accelerate revenue execution.", marked Popular) and Unlimited ("Scale enablement across your enterprise.") and says "Talk with our team to build the right package." AI Pitch Practice and AI Role Play are capped at 10 submissions per licence on Essential and 80 on Pro, and unlimited on Unlimited; languages are 2 and 6 on the first two editions, although the Unlimited card mentions 18 languages; Digital Sales Rooms and Guided Selling are on the Pro card; MEDDPICC content is an add-on on all three. We found no dated SalesHood price benchmark with a stated sample size.

Those caps are useful. If each rep will do more than 10 scored practice runs a year, Essential will not fit, and if your team needs buyer rooms you are buying Pro at least. Seismic gives no comparable structure, so ask for the modules, seats and services on the quote, and which product line, Seismic or Highspot, the contract covers.

How does the Highspot merger affect Seismic vs SalesHood?

Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026 and operates under the Seismic name, led by CEO Rob Tarkoff; it says customers of both companies "will benefit from continued investment" (Highspot blog). Its merger page says product changes will be shared "as decisions are finalized" (merger page). SalesHood was bootstrapped in May 2013 by Elay Cohen and Arthur Do and announced a Series A led by TeleSoft Partners in May 2017 (SalesHood).

Both were evaluated in The Forrester Wave: Revenue Enablement Platforms, Q4 2026 (Forrester); Forrester's blog does not give the placements. SalesHood says it was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms (SalesHood), and Seismic cites a Leader placement in the 2025 IDC MarketScape (Seismic).
