Allego or Second Nature: which should you choose?
Allego vs Second Nature compares a learning-first enablement suite with an AI role-play specialist; neither lists prices. Choose Allego for training, AI video role play, content and sales rooms. Choose Second Nature for avatar, pitch and demo simulations in its own LMS or yours.
Choose Allego if…
- You want training, AI role play, conversation intelligence, content management and digital sales rooms from one vendor; Allego sells them as four bundles.
- You want role play in many languages: Allego says its practice supports 32 languages and 71 voices and accents, with scoring in 59 languages.
- You want practice and real-call analysis together: conversation intelligence comes in the Modern Learning bundle, and role plays use AI scorecards, shared rubrics and manager review.
- You want AI and support inside the price: Allego says it never charges extra for AI or customer support, and includes success services in every deployment.
Choose Second Nature if…
- You want more than conversation practice: video-avatar calls, multi-persona meetings, webcam pitch recordings, slide presentations and screen-share demos.
- You want practice inside your current LMS, or a built-in one: Second Nature names SCORM and Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors and Adobe Learning Manager.
- You train customer support, call-centre or HR teams as well as sellers, including scripted calls for regulated industries.
- You want scoring you can tune: knowledge and style weighted 70% and 30% by default, editable criteria, manager evaluations and rep score reviews.

What is the difference between Allego and Second Nature?
Scope is the main difference. Allego calls itself a revenue enablement platform that combines training, coaching, content management and digital selling. Its homepage lists Sales Content Management, Modern Learning, AI Role Play & Coaching, Digital Sales Rooms and Conversation Intelligence (Allego), and its pricing page sells them as four bundles: Modern Learning with conversation intelligence, AI Role Play, Content Management, and Digital Rooms with Deal Navigator. Allego says it has been in business for more than 12 years with minimal outside venture funding, and it targets financial services, life sciences, technology, manufacturing, medical devices, insurance and professional services.
Second Nature sells AI role play and coaching. Its homepage leads with "AI Role Plays and Coaching that Turn Training into Go-To-Market Execution" (Second Nature), and its product page lists practice with an AI coach called Jenny, video call, slide presentation and screen-share demo simulations, pitch recording, sales certifications, gamification, reports and a built-in LMS. Deal Coach adds AI coaching on live deals. It has use-case pages for customer support, human resources, call centres and learning and development as well as sales, and industry pages for insurance, technology, telco, financial services and education. We found no content library, sales plays or digital sales rooms on its product pages.
Analysts place them differently. Allego was a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms and in the Forrester Wave for revenue enablement (Q3 2024). We found no Magic Quadrant, Wave or MarketScape placement for Second Nature; the Gartner recognition it lists is a 2021 Cool Vendor report in conversation intelligence for B2B sales, and it also cites the Info-Tech 2022 Sales Coaching Data Quadrant.
Allego treats Second Nature as a direct competitor. Its comparison page, modified on 15 July 2026, names Second Nature with FullyRamped, Hyperbound and Quantified.ai as "niche platforms that focus only on simulated role-plays" and marks each "No CMS". That is a rival's description, though Second Nature's own pages also describe no content management. Second Nature is venture-backed and raised a $22 million Series B led by Sienna VC, with Zoom among the investors, on 16 October 2025 (IT Brief). We found no merger or acquisition announced for either company as of 19 October 2026.
Allego vs Second Nature for AI role play and scoring
Both sell scored AI practice with certification, but they describe it differently. Allego's AI Role Play bundle offers practice against AI video avatars with real-time feedback on talk track, objections and messaging; manager scoring, rubrics and side-by-side review; and custom badges, certifications and readiness dashboards, with pre-built scenarios added in Allego 9 (Allego pricing). Its AI Role Play and Coaching page, modified on 12 June 2026, describes unscripted simulations that adapt as reps respond, for messaging rollouts, objection handling, interviews and hot seat drills, scored with AI-driven scorecards against shared rubrics and tracked on skills dashboards.
Second Nature lists four formats: live two-way conversations with AI personas, which its homepage shows as video avatars and multi-persona meetings; webcam pitch recordings; slide presentations where the AI asks questions; and product demos with screen sharing (FAQ). Role plays are built in a Course Editor from uploaded PDFs, PowerPoint, Word or audio files, or from templates aligned with MEDDPICC, BANT and SPIN, and its AI drafts evaluation criteria that you can edit. It scores knowledge (accuracy and topic coverage) and style (pace, clarity, energy and filler words), weighted 70% and 30% by default, in 45 to 90 seconds. Managers can change criteria, add manual evaluations for certification or use a custom scorecard, and reps can ask for a score review.
Language claims differ. Allego says its practice supports 32 languages and 71 voices and accents, with scoring in 59 languages. Second Nature's FAQ says more than 25 languages, including English with 12+ accents, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, French, Hebrew and Japanese, while its homepage says 30+. These are each vendor's own counts. Second Nature publishes more about how scenarios are built and weighted; Allego publishes more about how practice connects to its learning bundle and skills dashboards. Pilot both with the same scenario, rubric and managers before you decide.
Do Allego and Second Nature work with your LMS, CRM and calls?
They take opposite views of the LMS. Allego's pricing page counts LMS/LXP among the seven tools it says its platform can consolidate, and its Modern Learning bundle covers onboarding, mobile-first and offline-ready training, coaching and reinforcement. It still connects to other learning systems: its integrations page names LMS, LXP, LTI, LRS and SCORM standards, Salesforce, Salesforce Einstein, Microsoft Copilot and an MCP API server for MCP-compatible AI copilots, and claims more than 120 integrations. Its integrations directory shows logos including HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cornerstone, Degreed, Workday, Okta and Ping Identity.
Second Nature is built to sit beside your systems or to stand in for a light LMS. Its product page offers a "Built-in LMS or Integrate with Yours", and its FAQ names SCORM, API-based data exchange, SCIM and SAML SSO, with Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors and Adobe Learning Manager as LMSs and Salesforce and HubSpot as CRMs. Its Enterprise page adds Zoom, and SSO and SCIM through Okta, Azure, AD and Ping Identity. Cornerstone, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom, Okta and Ping Identity appear on both vendors' lists.
On real calls, Allego publishes more. It acquired Refract, a UK conversation-analytics company, in December 2020 (Business Wire), and now sells conversation intelligence inside Modern Learning. Second Nature builds role plays from recorded calls and uploaded audio, and its why-us page says "immediate call analysis frees managers from the burden of evaluating recorded calls", but we found no separate call-recording or conversation-intelligence product on its pages; Allego's comparison grid says it has "No real CI". If you need real-call scoring, ask Second Nature to show it in a demo. Neither vendor names the other as an integration on the pages we checked, so running both means two practice tools and two sets of scores.
For security reviews, Second Nature's Enterprise page lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certification and GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA compliance, and its FAQ says data is stored in a Google Cloud data centre in the Netherlands with AES-256 encryption, its language models run on Microsoft Azure, and customer data is not used to train models. Allego's homepage links a Security & Trust page that we did not review for this comparison, so ask both vendors for their trust documents.
How does Allego pricing compare to Second Nature pricing?
Neither lists prices on its own site, but Allego publishes more of its model. Its pricing page, modified on 7 June 2026 and re-checked on 19 October 2026, prices per user per month, billed annually upfront, based on seats and contract length. Three-year terms are typical, with two- and one-year terms available; channel and partner users get a lower list price, and non-revenue roles substantially reduced pricing. Allego says it never charges extra for AI or customer support, has no usage-based costs, and includes Premium Success Services (implementation, key integrations, training and enhanced support) in every deployment. Managed services for hands-on integration or content work cost extra, and its FAQ asks about minimum deal sizes but answers only on contract terms.
Second Nature routes pricing to a demo, and its homepage offers free role plays to try. Its G2 listing, with pricing information last updated on 12 November 2025, carries the vendor notes "Flexible pricing for Medium sized companies and enterprises. Minimum average deal starts at 20K USD" and lists a free trial. Its FAQ says the enterprise package includes five training sessions and quarterly business reviews.
We found no dated third-party benchmark with a sample size for either vendor. Vendr shows contract figures for both, but with no sample size or update date, so we do not repeat them. Scopes also differ: an Allego quote can cover learning, content and sales rooms as well as practice, while Second Nature quotes practice, certification and coaching. Ask Allego for the per-user rate of the AI Role Play bundle on its own and with Modern Learning; ask Second Nature what its free trial includes and whether LMS integration, extra languages and certification are in the base price. Allego also runs a buyout program for teams leaving Seismic or Highspot mid-contract, with no cap or end date published. The Allego pricing guide lists more questions to ask.
