Trumpet or Seismic: which should you choose?
Trumpet vs Seismic compares a sales room specialist with an enterprise enablement suite. Choose Trumpet for Pods, mutual action plans, proposals and e-signature at published per-user prices. Choose Seismic for governed content, meeting intelligence and AI agents, with rooms as one quoted module.
Choose Trumpet if…
- The room is the product you are buying: Trumpet Pods combine mutual action plans, proposals and quotes, e-signature, video and AI engagement scoring.
- You want published prices and a free start: Free allows 10 Pods with unlimited users, and paid plans run from $45 to $160 per user per month.
- You want shared plans with owners and dates: Trumpet's mutual action plans set next steps, owners and timelines, which Seismic's rooms page does not mention.
- You want deal coaching on the room itself: Coach Casey flags risks inside every Pod from the Scale plan.
Choose Seismic if…
- Content is the bigger problem than the room: Seismic lists version control, brand compliance, LiveDocs personalisation and content usage tied to pipeline and revenue.
- You want calls recorded in the same platform: Seismic for Meetings captures and transcribes meetings and drafts AI follow-ups, while Trumpet lists Gong, Modjo and Zoom among its call integrations.
- You need enterprise breadth: Seismic claims 150+ integrations and showed Deal Agent, Library Agent and an MCP server at Shift in October 2026.
- You also run Highspot: Seismic and Highspot have been one company since 18 August 2026.

What is the difference between Trumpet and Seismic?
Trumpet is a sales room company. It says it is "the AI buyer-facing execution layer for revenue teams" (Trumpet), and its Pods hold "every asset, update and conversation for the deal", with real-time alerts, AI engagement scoring and mutual action plans "with clear next steps, owners and timelines" (Trumpet Pods).
Seismic is a content and enablement company with rooms. Its homepage reads "The AI platform for revenue execution", and its Enablement Cloud lists content management and library, learning and coaching, program strategy and execution, meeting intelligence and digital sales rooms (Seismic). Its rooms page offers a secure, central space where buying teams tag, comment and post questions, alerts on what buyers engage with, and marketing control over branding and content. It does not mention mutual action plans, proposals or e-signature.
Content is where Seismic is far deeper. Its content product describes version control, governance and brand compliance, LiveDocs that tailor documents automatically, AI search and recommendations by deal stage, persona or product. Trumpet offers content management, templates and content analytics for what goes into a Pod, not a governed enterprise library.
How does Trumpet pricing compare to Seismic pricing?
Trumpet publishes its prices: Free at $0 with 10 Pods; Pro at $45 per user a month for up to 5 users; Scale at $100 and Elite at $160 per user a month, or $450, $1,000 and $1,600 per user a year billed annually (Trumpet pricing). Proposals, e-signature, Coach Casey and the Gong, DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations start at Scale; Copilot, SSO and SCIM at Elite.
Seismic does not. Its site links no pricing page and seismic.com/pricing/ did not load on 27 October 2026. Vendr reports a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year from 415 purchases (range $8,993 to $179,008), last updated February 2026. That figure covers whatever modules each buyer took, usually content and more, so it is not a price for rooms.
A worked example at list price: 25 sellers on Trumpet Scale cost $25,000 a year, and on Elite $40,000. That buys the room layer only. If you also need governed content and training, compare the Seismic quote against Trumpet plus the tools you would keep for those jobs.
How do Trumpet and Seismic compare on AI and integrations?
Trumpet's AI works on the deal in the room: Coach Casey from Scale; Copilot, AskAI for buyers, an MCP Client and AI-mapped org charts on Elite; and an MCP server through which Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Gong can reach Pods, engagement data and deal signals (Trumpet AI). Its 45 native integrations include Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive, Gong, Zoom, Salesloft, Outreach, DocuSign and PandaDoc (Trumpet integrations).
Seismic's AI works across content, meetings and deals. Aura AI describes "specialized AI agents for revenue execution", opt-in generative AI and no customer data sent to third parties for model training. At Shift on 13 October 2026 it showed Deal Agent, Library Agent and an MCP server under "Seismic Everywhere" (DestinationCRM). Seismic for Meetings records and transcribes meetings, and Seismic claims 150+ integrations, naming Salesforce, Oracle, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Gong.
On ownership, Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026 and operates as Seismic under CEO Rob Tarkoff (Highspot blog). Trumpet is a venture-backed company founded in 2021 that raised a $6.35m seed round in August 2024 (Tech.eu), and shows SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR badges.
Frequently asked questions
Is Trumpet or Seismic cheaper?
For rooms alone, Trumpet is the one you can price: Free for 10 Pods, then $45 to $160 per user a month. Seismic is quoted, and Vendr reports a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year (415 purchases, February 2026), which usually covers content and other modules as well as rooms.
Does Seismic have digital sales rooms?
Yes. Seismic lists digital sales rooms in its Enablement Cloud: a secure space where buying teams tag, comment and post questions, with alerts on buyer engagement and marketing control over branding. Its rooms page does not mention mutual action plans or e-signature.
Does Trumpet replace a content management platform?
Not for a large library. Trumpet offers content management, templates and content analytics for what goes into Pods. Seismic is built for governed enterprise content, with version control, brand compliance and LiveDocs personalisation.
Can Trumpet and Seismic work together?
Neither vendor's pages list the other as an integration. Teams that keep Seismic for content and add a dedicated sales room should ask both how content reaches the room and how engagement data returns to the CRM.
