Hyperbound or Mindtickle: which should you choose?
Hyperbound vs Mindtickle pits a role-play specialist against a readiness suite. Choose Hyperbound for AI role-play plus automated scoring of real calls imported from tools such as Gong. Choose Mindtickle for role-play inside one platform with training, certification, content and sales rooms. Neither publishes prices.
Choose Hyperbound if…
- You want AI buyer bots built from a job title, a scenario and a company name, for cold, warm, discovery and customer check-in calls.
- You want real calls scored automatically against your scorecards, imported from recorders and dialers such as Gong, Chorus, Salesloft and Outreach.
- You already run an LMS: Hyperbound exports role-plays as SCORM packages and documents a Workday Learning connection.
- You run call-centre or outsourced sales teams, or want AI role-play assessments in hiring, both use cases Hyperbound lists.
Choose Mindtickle if…
- You want onboarding, training, certification, coaching, content and digital sales rooms in one platform.
- You need role-play and feedback in 25+ languages, dozens of preset buyer personas and screen-share practice for demos.
- You want a Readiness Index that Mindtickle says correlates role-play performance with quota attainment, deal size and ramp time.
- Procurement wants a 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader that states SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.

What is the difference between Hyperbound and Mindtickle?
Scope. Hyperbound titles its site "AI Sales Roleplay & Coaching Platform" and sells three products: Hyperbound Practice for AI role-play, Hyperbound Perform for scoring real calls, and Kota Activate, agents that use call data, scorecards and CRM inputs to generate reports and coaching scenarios (Hyperbound, Kota). Learning Modules and Call Blitz package practice for teams, and Live Call Coaching shows battlecards and playbook steps during live calls (help centre). Its product pages do not list a content library or digital sales rooms.
Mindtickle is a revenue enablement platform that calls ElevateOS its agentic operating system. Role-play is one module beside sales training, an AI tutor, coaching, a Readiness Index, content management, deal guides, conversation intelligence and digital sales rooms (Mindtickle).
The two overlap most on practice built from real calls. Hyperbound's AI Coach listens to real calls first and then sends sellers to targeted role-plays based on their gaps (help centre). Mindtickle's Behavior Intelligence analyses calls, assessments and past role plays to find each rep's skill gaps and creates role plays from them (Mindtickle). Hyperbound's integrations collection names no Mindtickle integration, and Mindtickle's role-play page names no Hyperbound one.
Which has better AI role-play, Hyperbound or Mindtickle?
Neither in general; they build practice differently. A Hyperbound cold call bot starts from a job title, a pre-built scenario such as "time-constrained" or "using a competitor", a company name the AI researches and your product description. Admins then set the buyer's mood from "Kind (easy) to Rude (hard)", priorities, objections and a scorecard (help centre). Guides cover cold, warm, discovery and customer check-in calls, and a separate page covers renewal and upsell practice for account managers (Hyperbound). Bots can run in several languages, but voice selection is English only (help centre).
Mindtickle's AI role play offers dozens of preset buyer personas and voices, custom personas described in plain language, uploaded objections, and screen sharing to practise demos. It scores soft skills such as talk ratio, pace and filler words, certifies reps automatically against score thresholds you set, and runs role plays and feedback in 25+ languages. It says a typical session lasts 2 to 4 minutes.
On real calls, Hyperbound Perform scores calls against your playbook. Its Gong integration picks up calls on the next sync after Gong processes a recording and scores them within a few minutes (help centre). It also lists Chorus, Salesloft, Outreach, Clari Copilot, RingCentral, Modjo and Salesfinity (help centre), plus its own Meeting Recorder (integrations). Mindtickle analyses calls with its own Call AI, which feeds coaching and role-play recommendations. If your calls already sit in another recorder, ask Mindtickle how Call AI would ingest them, and pilot both tools with the same scenario, scorecard and managers.
How does Hyperbound pricing compare to Mindtickle pricing?
Neither publishes prices. Hyperbound's pricing page names Free, Practice and Perform plans and asks visitors to book a demo; no prices, limits or plan contents appeared in the page text on 16 October 2026. Vendr's Hyperbound page shows a contract figure but states neither a sample size nor an update date, so we do not repeat it, and we found no other dated benchmark.
Mindtickle's pricing page shows no plans or figures, and G2 lists Enable and Readiness packages as "Contact Us". Vendr reports a median Mindtickle contract of $44,356 a year (65 purchases, February 2026), ranging $11,157 to $138,726. Mindtickle says it does not offer a self-serve free version of AI role play, but points visitors to a free demo.
Compare like with like. A Mindtickle contract can cover training, content, sales rooms and Call AI, while a Hyperbound quote covers practice, call scoring and agents. Price Hyperbound together with the content and sales-room tools you would keep, against only the Mindtickle modules you would use. The Mindtickle pricing guide lists cost drivers and questions to ask.
Hyperbound vs Mindtickle for enterprise buyers: company, analysts and security
Hyperbound was founded in 2023. It went through Y Combinator in Summer 2023, is based in San Francisco and lists a team of 30 on its Y Combinator profile. It raised a $15M Series A led by Peak XV Partners in September 2025 (YourStory). On 1 September 2026 Richardson Sales Performance introduced "AI Roleplay Built on Hyperbound" inside its own training (Training Industry).
Analyst coverage differs in kind. Hyperbound says it was named an Example Vendor in Gartner's Market Overview for B2B Sales AI Role-Play Applications (7 August 2026), a market overview rather than a ranked Magic Quadrant (press release). Mindtickle was a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms and the Forrester Wave Q3 2024. We found no announced sale or merger for either company as of October 2026.
On security, Mindtickle's role-play page says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, with a programme aligned with ISO 27001 and GDPR, and that rep conversation data is not sent to public AI models or used for training. Hyperbound's enterprise page calls it a SOC 2 compliant platform and shows a GDPR badge, but its public pages do not state the report type, so ask for the report.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hyperbound a Mindtickle alternative?
For AI role-play and coaching, yes: both offer AI buyer role-play, scoring and practice built from real-call gaps. Hyperbound's product pages do not list content management or digital sales rooms, which Mindtickle includes, so it replaces part of Mindtickle's scope rather than all of it.
Which is better for AI sales role-play, Hyperbound or Mindtickle?
Neither is better in general. Hyperbound builds bots from a job title, scenario and company and scores real calls imported from recorders such as Gong. Mindtickle offers dozens of preset personas, screen-share practice, automated certification and 25+ languages. Pilot both with your own scenarios.
How much do Hyperbound and Mindtickle cost?
Neither publishes prices. Hyperbound names Free, Practice and Perform plans and asks you to book a demo; we found no dated benchmark with a sample size for it. Vendr reports a median Mindtickle contract of $44,356 a year (65 purchases, February 2026).
Does Hyperbound or Mindtickle have a free plan?
Hyperbound's pricing page names a Free plan but does not publish its limits. Mindtickle says it does not offer a self-serve free version of AI role play but points visitors to a free demo, and G2 says Mindtickle has no free plan or free trial.
Does Hyperbound integrate with Mindtickle?
We found no named integration between them. Hyperbound exports role-plays as SCORM packages for any SCORM-compliant LMS and documents a Workday Learning connection, so ask both vendors before planning to run them side by side.
