Trumpet or Aligned: which should you choose?

Trumpet vs Aligned compares two digital sales room vendors with per-seat prices and free plans. Choose Trumpet for Pods with proposals, e-signature and Coach Casey deal coaching. Choose Aligned for lower list prices, unlimited rooms from Basic and a beta Seller Agent on every plan.

Choose Trumpet if…

  • You want quotes and signatures inside the room: proposals and e-signature come with Trumpet Scale and Elite, alongside DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations.
  • You want an AI deal coach: Coach Casey flags deal risks and suggests next steps from Scale, and Elite adds Copilot, buyer-facing AskAI and AI-mapped org charts.
  • Your security review asks for ISO 27001: Trumpet shows SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR badges; Aligned names SOC 2 Type II and GDPR.
  • You want a free plan with unlimited users: Trumpet Free allows 10 Pods and unlimited users, where Aligned Starter allows 4 active rooms per seat.

Choose Aligned if…

  • List price matters: Aligned Pro is 49 per seat a month billed annually against Trumpet Scale at $100, and Basic (29 annual) already has unlimited rooms.
  • You want an agent on every plan: Aligned says its Seller Agent is "available now, in beta, across all Aligned plans", with long-term packaging not yet set.
  • You run several call recorders: Aligned lists Gong, Chorus, Fathom, Fireflies and Sybill, plus Highspot and Seismic among its integrations.
  • You want post-sale workspaces as well: Aligned sells a Customer Success Hub and Customer Onboarding next to its Digital Sales Room.

What is the difference between Trumpet and Aligned?

They sell the same core: a shared buyer-facing space with a mutual action plan, engagement analytics and alerts. They describe it differently. Trumpet says it is "the AI buyer-facing execution layer for revenue teams", and its rooms are branded workspaces called Pods that hold "every asset, update and conversation for the deal", with real-time alerts and AI engagement scoring that separates "genuine buying intent from a quick, curious click" (Trumpet Pods). Aligned calls itself "the AI deal workspace where 50,000+ sales teams run their deals" (Aligned), and its Digital Sales Room page promises collaborative mutual action plans with your champion and analysis of "activity, views, comments & more".

The product lists diverge after the room. Trumpet adds proposals and quotes, e-signature, surveys and forms, video and micro demos, content management, Nerve Centre and AI org charts. Aligned adds a Customer Success Hub, Customer Onboarding and a Revenue Intelligence view that surfaces buying signals and deals "cooling off" between meetings; that page does not say Aligned records calls itself. We found no e-signature on Aligned's room page, which lists PandaDoc and, as "coming soon", DocuSign among its integrations.

How does Trumpet pricing compare to Aligned pricing?

Both price per seat and both start free. Trumpet: Free at $0 with 10 Pods and unlimited users; Pro at $45 per user a month for up to 5 users; Scale at $100 and Elite at $160 per user a month; or $450, $1,000 and $1,600 per user a year billed annually (Trumpet pricing). Aligned: Starter at 0 with 4 active rooms per seat; Basic at 35 per seat a month or 29 billed annually; Pro at 60 or 49; Enterprise by quote (Aligned pricing). Aligned's page shows no currency symbol, and its monthly and annual figures are not labelled one by one; the annual toggle reads "Save 18%".

For a ten-person team at list price, billed annually: Trumpet Scale is $10,000 a year and Elite $16,000; Aligned Pro is 5,880 a year (10 x 49 x 12) and Basic 3,480, in whatever currency Aligned bills. Trumpet Pro does not fit, because it stops at 5 users. The tiers are not equal. Trumpet Scale adds proposals, e-signature, Coach Casey and the Gong, DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations. Aligned Pro adds Gong and PandaDoc integrations and AI Client Assist, AI Content Generator and AI Deal Builder, and lists Salesforce and HubSpot as "Limited" on every plan below Enterprise, which has full bi-directional sync.

That CRM row is the one to check. Trumpet's FAQ says two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync starts at Pro, while Aligned keeps full bi-directional sync for Enterprise. If your reps live in the CRM, price Aligned Enterprise, not Pro, against Trumpet Scale. Neither vendor has a dated third-party price benchmark with a stated sample size.

How do Trumpet and Aligned compare on AI agents?

Trumpet tiers its AI. Coach Casey, "a built-in AI sales coach, available inside every Pod", comes with Scale; Copilot, which turns call recordings, CRM data and engagement into a Pod, AskAI for buyers, an MCP Client and AI-mapped org charts come with Elite. Its MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Gong "and more" access Pods, engagement data and deal signals (Trumpet AI).

Aligned puts one agent on every plan, for now. The Seller Agent reads "every call, email, and CRM update tied to a deal", has Consult, Execute, Automate and Create modes, and proposes every change for approval before applying it. Aligned says it is in beta on all plans and that "long-term pricing and packaging haven't been finalized yet", so a feature that is free today may be priced later. Its MCP server connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Glean. Budget for that uncertainty if the agent is the reason you are buying.

Which integrations and security do Trumpet and Aligned offer?

Trumpet lists 45 native integrations, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive, Close and ActiveCampaign as CRMs, Gong, Modjo and Zoom for calls, Salesloft and Outreach for engagement, and DocuSign and PandaDoc for signatures (Trumpet integrations). Aligned's integrations page names Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Close and Pipedrive, Gong, Chorus, Fathom, Fireflies and Sybill for calls, Outreach, PandaDoc, Highspot and Seismic, with SugarCRM, Salesloft, DocuSign, SharePoint and ActiveCampaign marked "coming soon".

On security, Trumpet shows SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR badges and keeps SSO and SCIM for Elite. Aligned states "SOC2 Type II, GDPR compliance, SSO, SCIM" and lists SSO and SCIM on Enterprise only. Both are venture-backed. Trumpet was founded in 2021 and raised a $6.35m seed round led by AlbionVC in August 2024 (Tech.eu); Aligned raised a $60 million Series B led by PeakSpan Capital on 1 July 2026, bringing its total to $73.8 million (SiliconANGLE).
