Does PandaDoc publish its prices?
PandaDoc pricing has four plans: Free at $0, Starter at $19 and Business at $49 per seat per month billed annually ($35 and $65 billed monthly), and Enterprise, quoted per seat or per document. Vendr's February 2026 median is $14,868 a year (91 purchases).
Yes, for three of its four plans. PandaDoc's pricing page lists Free at "$0 USD", Starter at "$19 per month, billed annually" (its plan card calls the figure a "Seat cost per month") and Business, marked "Most popular", at "$49 per seat per month, billed annually". Enterprise shows "Let's talk" and "Per-seat or per-document pricing". Switch the toggle to Monthly and the cards show Starter at $35 and Business at $65 per seat per month. The page adds that "Prices exclude any applicable taxes."
Annual billing is the cheaper way to pay. The toggle says "Save up to 46%", which matches Starter ($19 against $35 a seat a month); on Business the saving is about 25% ($49 against $65). Plan names also vary: PandaDoc's AI information page and Vendr call the entry paid plan Essentials, while the pricing page calls it Starter.
What do PandaDoc's Free, Starter, Business and Enterprise plans include?
Each paid plan includes everything in the plan below it. PandaDoc's pricing page describes them as follows:
| Plan | How PandaDoc describes it | Price on its pricing page | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | "For small businesses who need professional eSign without the price tag." | $0; "No credit card required." | Five documents a month, up to 5 templates, limited API access, AI assistants via MCP |
| Starter | "For quickly creating and signing forms and agreements." | $19 per month, billed annually (a seat cost); $35 billed monthly | "Unlimited document uploads and e-Signatures", API access with usage credits, AI Assistant and AI search |
| Business | "For sales proposals and integrated agreement workflows." | $49 per seat per month, billed annually; $65 billed monthly | "Custom quotes and sales agreements", CRM integrations, content library, up to 3 deal rooms, approval workflows, web forms, bulk send |
| Enterprise | "For end-to-end document workflows and advanced automations." | "Let's talk"; per seat or per document | CPQ, workflow automation, smart content, SSO, team workspaces, Notary, unlimited deal rooms |
An asterisk marks API access, CRM integrations, web forms, bulk send, CPQ, workflow automation and Notary, and the footnote reads "*Requires usage credits or is a paid add-on". The Salesforce integration is listed on Business and Enterprise as "optional, requires paid add-on", and the page gives no add-on prices. HubSpot and Pipedrive are not named on the pricing page, which lists "CRM integrations"; PandaDoc's homepage names Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, Pipedrive, monday.com and Zapier among its integrations, plus payment tools such as Stripe, Square and PayPal.
Deal rooms, which PandaDoc introduced in May 2024 as "Rooms, an integrated digital space" (release), are capped at "up to 3 rooms" on Business and listed as "unlimited" on Enterprise.
How do PandaDoc document limits and usage credits work?
The Free plan lets you "Create 5 documents per month", a "5/month shared limit" that also covers documents created through the API and automations ("Included in 5/month — No separate limit"). PandaDoc's AI information page puts the free plan at "60 uploaded documents per calendar year". Starter, and so Business, include "Unlimited document uploads and e-Signatures".
Documents created by integrations are counted separately. "A Usage Credit is used when you create a new document through an integration or automated workflow, like the API, Zapier, Make, Forms, or bulk send," the pricing page says. "Starter and Business plans include trial credits for first-time customers. After that, you can purchase a recurring usage credit pack." The page gives no price for a credit pack.
What happens when credits run out depends on the route. "API is usage credit-pack only and does not support pay-as-you-go", and "When your credits are used up, API document creation pauses." Automations, bulk send, forms, Zapier and Make keep running, and anything beyond your credits "is billed as overage at the per-unit price on your current order form"; "If your order form has no per-unit price, you will be charged up to $5 per document created." Unused documents "don't roll over between billing periods", though annual plans can use "your full yearly allocation at any time during the year". Enterprise and per-document customers agree usage credits with their account team.
Which PandaDoc plan includes quotes and CPQ?
Quotes start on Business, which lists "Custom quotes and sales agreements". Full CPQ sits on Enterprise: the pricing page lists "CPQ (configure, price, quote)" there, marks it "optional" and places it under the footnote "*Requires usage credits or is a paid add-on".
PandaDoc launched CPQ built inside Salesforce on 19 February 2025 as a "paid add-on for PandaDoc Enterprise and App Volume customers", saying it helps teams "generate quotes accurately the first time" (release). The same release refers to an existing "embedded CPQ solution for HubSpot". No CPQ price is published, so ask for it as a separate line in an Enterprise quote.
Which PandaDoc AI features does each plan get?
The pricing page spreads AI across the plans. AI Assistant and AI search start on Starter; AI document digest and AI data extraction start on Business; AI renewal alerts are "optional" on Business and included on Enterprise. All four plans, Free included, list "AI & Agents (Claude, ChatGPT & MCP)".
Those connectors carry conditions. A footnote says "This functionality is currently in beta, beta terms apply" and "For a limited time, enjoy access to the PandaDoc Claude connector/ChatGPT app in all PandaDoc plans at no additional cost", adding that "PandaDoc reserves the right to introduce usage limits at any time." PandaDoc's AI information page names an "AI Document Assistant" and a "native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server" with a "Claude connector (Anthropic)" and a "ChatGPT connector (OpenAI)". Ask whether AI features draw on usage credits, and what the connectors will cost when the offer ends.
How much does PandaDoc cost per year?
Vendr reports a median PandaDoc contract of $14,868 a year from 91 purchases (last updated February 2026), with a low of $3,662 and a high of $37,580. The page header shows 82 deals handled rather than 91 and labels the same figure "Avg Contract Value", without explaining either difference, so treat the figures as directional. They are Vendr estimates from purchase data, not PandaDoc prices.
Vendr says "Pricing is based on user seats, feature tier, and contract term", with "published list prices serving as a starting point for negotiation", and that for Enterprise "Quoted rates typically start around $59+ per user per month for annual contracts". It adds that "Advanced integrations, API usage, premium support, and additional storage may carry separate fees". Those are Vendr's observations, not PandaDoc terms.
At list price, ten Business seats billed annually come to $5,880 a year (10 × $49 × 12) before add-ons, usage credits and tax, and ten Starter seats to $2,280. On monthly billing the same ten seats cost $7,800 a year on Business (10 × $65 × 12) and $4,200 on Starter. What does PandaDoc say about security and its company?
On compliance, PandaDoc's homepage says "PandaDoc is E-SIGN, UETA, HIPAA compliant, and SOC 2 certified". That is PandaDoc's statement; ask for the current SOC 2 report during your security review.
PandaDoc is venture-backed. Its about page says it "Reached $1B valuation and unicorn status with Series C funding" in 2021. On 27 August 2024 it said it had "achieved a significant milestone of $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)", had "empowered over 56,000 customers" and had "more than 700 employees globally", naming Altos Ventures, Rembrandt Venture Partners, One Peak Partners and OMERS among its venture partners (release). Its AI information page, last updated August 2026, says "PandaDoc serves over 60,000 organizations globally" and that "In December 2025, PandaDoc was valued at $1 billion following investment from Indico Capital Partners"; we found no press release for that investment.
What drives the cost of a PandaDoc plan?
PandaDoc's pricing page names most of the inputs to the bill; the contract observations are Vendr's, not PandaDoc terms:
- Plan. Starter is $19 and Business $49 per seat per month billed annually, or $35 and $65 billed monthly; Enterprise, where CPQ, SSO and workflow automation sit, is quoted.
- Seats or documents. Starter and Business are priced per seat, so the bill grows with headcount; Enterprise can instead be a document-based package "with unlimited seats", where you "pay only for the documents you create".
- Billing term. Annual billing costs less: Starter is $19 a seat a month rather than $35, and Business $49 rather than $65; the toggle says "Save up to 46%".
- Usage credits. Documents created through the API, Zapier, Make, Forms or bulk send use credits; API creation pauses when they run out, and other overage can cost up to $5 per document if your order form sets no unit price.
- Add-ons. The Salesforce integration needs a paid add-on on Business and Enterprise, and CPQ, Notary and workflow automation are marked as needing credits or a paid add-on; no add-on prices are published.
- Contract term. Vendr says "annual and multi-year terms typically unlock lower per-seat rates".
What should you ask PandaDoc before buying?
- Is annual billing paid upfront, and can you move from monthly to annual billing mid-term and keep the lower rate?
- How many usage credits come with your plan after the trial credits, what does a recurring credit pack cost, and what per-document overage rate will your order form show?
- What does the Salesforce integration add-on cost, and is HubSpot covered by "CRM integrations" on Business?
- Is Enterprise CPQ priced per seat, per document or as a flat add-on?
- Will the Claude and ChatGPT connectors stay free after the beta, and do AI features use usage credits?
- Would a per-document Enterprise package with unlimited seats cost less than per-seat pricing at your document volume?
