Does Trumpet publish its prices?

Trumpet pricing is per user: Pro costs $45 a month or $450 a year, Scale $100 or $1,000, and Elite $160 or $1,600. Pro is capped at five users. A free forever plan gives 10 Pods per account with unlimited users.

Yes, in US dollars and per user. Trumpet's pricing page carries a Monthly and Annual toggle. With Monthly selected on 21 October 2026, Pro reads "$45 user/month", Scale "$100 user/month" and Elite "$160 user/month", each labelled "Per user, billed monthly"; with Annual selected they read "$450 user/year", "$1000 user/year" and "$1600 user/year", "Per user, billed annually". Free is "$0" and "Free forever". Elite is tagged "MOST POPULAR".

Two conditions sit on the cards themselves. Pro is "For small companies or solo-riders. Only up to 5 users.", so a sixth seller moves the team to Scale, which Trumpet describes as "For early-stage growth startups or organisations with smaller sales and success teams" and lists with unlimited users. Elite, "For fast-growth companies and organisations with established sales and success teams", has "Book a demo" as its button rather than a sign-up, so expect a sales conversation for the top tier. The page names no discount, no contract length, no renewal terms and no trial length for the paid plans.

What do Trumpet's Free, Pro, Scale and Elite plans include?

Each card builds on the one below it: Pro says "Free features, plus:", Scale "Pro features, plus:" and Elite "Scale features, plus:". The table shows the plans with both billing views:

PlanPrice per userUsersWhat the card adds
Free"$0", "Free forever""Unlimited""10 free Pods (per account)", mutual action plans, live collaboration, version control, voice notes, password protection, basic analytics
Pro"$45 user/month" or "$450 user/year""Only up to 5 users"Unlimited Pods, unlimited templates, content management system, Pro analytics, AI engagement score, CRM integrations
Scale"$100 user/month" or "$1000 user/year"UnlimitedAI search in the CMS, AI content writer, AI documents, Coach Casey deal health, e-signature, "Proposals & Quotes", advanced analytics, management dashboard, DocuSign and PandaDoc, Gong, Zapier, synced widgets, template analytics
Elite"$160 user/month" or "$1600 user/year" ("MOST POPULAR")UnlimitedAI Copilot, Ask AI deal assistant, MCP Client, AI org charts, SSO, SCIM, security questionnaires, multi-team Workspaces, white labelling, full custom domain, global Pod analytics, dedicated customer success

Trumpet puts the buyer-facing basics on Free, including mutual action plans, live collaboration, version control, voice notes, password protection and basic analytics, and keeps engagement scores, the content management system and unlimited Pods for Pro. Scale is where the commercial features start: it adds "Proposals & Quotes", e-signature, DocuSign and PandaDoc, the Gong integration, Zapier, AI search and an AI content writer in the CMS, AutoBrand, AI summaries, surveys and forms, synced widgets, global content updates, template analytics and a management dashboard. If quoting and signing is the main job rather than the room around it, compare PandaDoc pricing; for tracked document sharing on its own, see DocSend pricing.

Elite is the AI and governance tier: Copilot, the Ask AI deal assistant, the MCP Client, AI-mapped org charts and AI-recommended stakeholders, SSO and SCIM, security questionnaires, Enablement Pods, white labelling, global Pod analytics and "White glove customer success & account management". Its Workspaces matter for structure as much as features: Trumpet's FAQ says Workspaces "separate teams, regions or brands under one account, each with their own templates, content and analytics", so a company running several brands or regions is pushed to the top tier. The comparison table also shows a custom domain as "pod.acme.com" on the lower plans and a "Full domain" on Elite.

On security, the pricing page shows SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR badges and links a trust centre, and its FAQ answers "Is trumpet secure?" with "Password protection on every Pod, SSO and SCIM on Elite, and we complete security questionnaires as part of procurement." Those are Trumpet's own statements. Because single sign-on, SCIM and security questionnaires are Elite features, a procurement review that requires SSO sets the plan before the feature list does.

Monthly or annual billing, and the five-user cap on Pro

Annual billing is about a sixth cheaper on every paid plan, although Trumpet never calls it a discount. Pro at "$450 user/year" compares with $540 for twelve months at $45, Scale at "$1000 user/year" with $1,200 and Elite at "$1600 user/year" with $1,920: in each case the annual rate is roughly 17% below the monthly one. The page does not say whether the annual amount is paid upfront, or whether a twelve-month commitment is required to get it, so ask for both in writing.

The five-user cap on Pro is the other number that moves a bill. Five users on Pro cost $2,250 a year billed annually; a sixth user means Scale, where five users cost $5,000 and six cost $6,000. There is no platform fee or minimum on the page beyond that cap, so the bill tracks head count directly, and a customer success manager or partner manager on the account costs the same as a seller. Free sets no user limit at all, listing "Unlimited users" against its 10-Pod cap, so a large team can trial Trumpet before anyone pays.

What does Trumpet's free plan include?

Trumpet's Free plan is built around a Pod allowance rather than a seat count: "10 free Pods (per account)" with "Unlimited users", described on the card as a way to "Get 10 free sales rooms to get to grips with the impact of trumpet." Its FAQ confirms it, saying "The Free plan is free forever and includes 10 Pods per account with unlimited users." On reaching the limit, the FAQ says "Nothing breaks. Existing Pods stay live, and you will be prompted to move to Pro or Scale for unlimited Pods."

What the free plan includes beyond the Pods is the one place the page contradicts itself. When we checked on 21 October 2026, the Free card listed "40+ Integrations" and "Scale Plan features (10 Pod limit)", while the integrations section on the same page says there are "40+ integrations" and "Every one of them included from Scale upwards." The FAQ gives a third version: "two-way sync with Salesforce and HubSpot from Pro, plus Gong, Slack, DocuSign and PandaDoc higher up the plans." Its integrations page, checked on 16 October 2026, counted "55+ integrations" (integrations). If CRM sync, Gong or e-signature on a free or Pro plan matters to your evaluation, get the tier confirmed in writing.

Which Trumpet AI features need which plan?

Trumpet tiers its AI rather than metering it. Scale carries the content AI and the deal coach: AI search in the CMS, an AI content writer, AI documents, AI summaries and Coach Casey, which Trumpet launched on 2 October 2025 as an AI deal and engagement coach giving red, amber and green deal health, stall-risk detection and stakeholder-coverage gaps. Pro below it offers an "AI engagement score" and no more.

Elite carries the agents. Copilot, with a read-only Ask Mode and an Agent Mode that builds and edits Pods, launched on Elite on 23 July 2026 alongside Canvas, a vibe-coding widget builder, and the MCP Client, and AI-mapped org charts, AI-recommended stakeholders and the buyer-facing Ask AI assistant are Elite features too. Trumpet's MCP server, announced on 14 July 2026, lets Claude, ChatGPT, Glean and Gong build Pods from templates, link them to CRM deals and pull engagement and deal-health data. The pricing page prices only by user and plan: it shows no AI credit allowance, token pack or usage meter, so the question to ask is which plan a feature needs, not how much of it you get.

How much does Trumpet cost per year?

At list price with annual billing, five users on Pro come to $2,250 a year, ten on Scale to $10,000 and twenty on Elite to $32,000; billed monthly, the same three teams cost $2,700, $12,000 and $38,400. Because every paid plan is priced per user, the only levers are head count, plan and billing term, and the step from Scale to Elite costs $600 per user a year billed annually.

We found no dated third-party benchmark with a stated sample size for Trumpet. Vendr has a Trumpet page, but when we checked it on 21 October 2026 it showed no contract values, no range, no purchase count and no update date. Trumpet's own information page, checked on 16 October 2026, still listed older prices in pounds that conflict with the dollar prices on its pricing page; the pricing page is the one to quote.

For a comparison with a tool that charges per team rather than per user, see our Dock pricing guide, where Standard is $350 a month for 5 users and Premium $1,000 a month billed annually for 10, and our Trumpet vs Dock head-to-head.

What drives the cost of a Trumpet plan?

Trumpet's pricing page names the inputs to the bill; it states no contract or renewal terms:

  • Users. Every paid plan is "Per user", so the bill grows with head count. Pro is "Only up to 5 users"; Free, Scale and Elite list unlimited users.
  • Plan. Pro, Scale and Elite are $45, $100 and $160 per user a month, or $450, $1,000 and $1,600 per user a year.
  • Billing term. The annual rate is about 17% below twelve monthly payments on all three paid plans; the page does not say whether it is paid upfront.
  • Commercial features. "Proposals & Quotes", e-signature and the DocuSign and PandaDoc integrations start at Scale, so a quoting workflow rules Pro out.
  • Integrations. The page says every integration is "included from Scale upwards", while its FAQ puts two-way Salesforce and HubSpot sync on Pro.
  • Security and identity. SSO, SCIM and security questionnaires are Elite features, so an IT review that requires single sign-on sets the tier.
  • Multi-team structure. Workspaces, which separate teams, regions or brands under one account, white labelling and a full custom domain are Elite-only.
  • Pods. Pods are unlimited from Pro upwards; only the Free plan caps them, at 10 per account, counted per account rather than per user.

What should you ask Trumpet before buying?

  • Is the annual rate paid upfront, and does it require a twelve-month commitment? The page shows only "Per user, billed annually".
  • Who needs a licence: does a customer success manager, partner or implementation consultant count as a user, and do buyers?
  • Which plan does your CRM sync need? The Pro card, the integrations section and the FAQ give three different answers.
  • Does the free plan really include Scale features and 40+ integrations at the 10-Pod limit, as its card states?
  • What happens to Pods, content and analytics if you downgrade or leave, given that Pods stay live at the free plan's limit?
  • Can you mix plans across teams, or must every user be on the same tier if only one team needs Elite?
  • Will Trumpet cap the renewal increase, and what notice period applies? Its pricing page states no contract terms.
