Spekit or Showell: which should you choose?
Spekit vs Showell compares in-flow enablement with field sales. Spekit surfaces governed knowledge inside the CRM through a Chrome extension and publishes no prices. Showell runs a branded, offline-capable sales app and publishes Professional from $715 per workspace a month, users included.
Choose Spekit if…
- Your sellers live in the CRM: Spekit's Embedded Enablement places no-code "Speks" and Spotlights notifications inside Salesforce or any web app through a Chrome extension, documenting objects, fields and picklist values in place.
- You need content governance, not just a library: the GTM Knowledge Engine stores content as Speks with owners, version history and conflict and decay detection, syncing from Google Drive, SharePoint and Confluence, with AI answers that cite approved Speks.
- You want buyer rooms with deal data in them: AI Deal Rooms track engagement per named stakeholder with real-time Slack alerts and pull Gong transcripts and Salesforce opportunity data into room creation; Showell's rooms describe no mutual action plans or stakeholder maps.
- You want your own AI assistants to read approved content: Spekit MCP works with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Glean, and no MCP server or AI agent appears on Showell's AI page.
Choose Showell if…
- Your sellers are in the field or at a trade stand: Showell ships web, iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac apps, with the mobile and desktop apps listing "Offline access & presenting", and Smart Tools that "run entirely offline".
- You sell through dealers and distributors: Showell describes itself as a platform for companies that sell through field sales teams and dealer networks, with Manufacturing and MedTech solution pages and a dealer enablement use case.
- You want a published price and users included: Professional is "Starting at $715" "Per workspace (including users) per month." for 10-200 users, where Spekit publishes no figure, no billing unit and no seat count.
- Your data must stay in the EU: Showell says it holds an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system and hosts data in AWS data centres in the EU; Spekit names SOC 2 but no ISO certification on the pages we checked.

What is the difference between Spekit and Showell?
These two are rarely on the same shortlist by accident: they are built for different sellers. Spekit calls itself the Rep Acceleration Platform, "AI-first revenue enablement for every rep and every agent", delivered in the flow of work (Spekit). Its unit is the "Spek", a governed piece of knowledge surfaced in context, and its delivery mechanism is a browser. Showell says it is "the only native field sales enablement platform on the market", for companies selling through field sales teams and dealer networks (Showell). Its unit is a presentable asset and its delivery mechanism is an app on a device that may have no signal.
Offline capability is the clearest dividing line, and it is not a feature either side can bolt on quickly. Showell's sales app ships as a web app, an iPad and iPhone app, an Android app for tablets and phones, and Windows and Mac laptop apps, with the mobile and desktop versions listing "Offline access & presenting"; its Smart Sales Tools "run entirely offline", holding data bound for CRM, ERP or PIM on the device until it reconnects, while tools needing real-time data cannot run offline. Spekit names only a Chrome extension on its integrations page, with no mobile app and no public API described. A rep in a factory, a hospital or an exhibition hall is Showell's buyer; a rep in a Salesforce tab is Spekit's.
What each wraps around that core differs too. Showell's platform is content-shaped: a content library with rule-based smart folders, permissions for who can access, present and share, "smart push" content updates, language filters by market and support for PowerPoint, Word, PDF, images, video and 3D models; sales presentations with a presentation creator, content collections, Office and Google editing, drawing and annotating, kiosk mode, auto-play and interactive 3D and augmented reality content; analytics down to page or slide level; and digital sales rooms that are branded and personalised with page- and slide-level view tracking, buyer messaging, video greetings, expiry dates, access restrictions and download controls. Spekit's platform is knowledge- and workflow-shaped: knowledge engine, embedded guidance, AI Sidekick, Deal Rooms, Learning Paths, Spekit Slides, Brand Studio and Revenue Analytics.
On company profile the two are a study in contrast. Spekit, Inc. was founded in 2018 by Melanie Fellay (CEO) and Zari Zahra, is headquartered in Denver, says it has "raised over $60M" and acquired the AI start-up Cquence on 18 December 2024. Showell was founded in 2012 by brothers Sami Suni (CEO) and Juha Suni, with its headquarters in Finland (Jyväskylä and Helsinki) and offices in London and Chicago (contact page); the last funding we could date was a EUR 1m investment in late July 2019 led by Trind Ventures, and no later round, ownership change, merger or acquisition appears on its site. Neither is part of a larger group. On analyst evaluation, Spekit says it was recognised as a Visionary in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, while we found no Gartner, Forrester or IDC evaluation of Showell on its site - only a review-based GetApp Category Leaders 2022 badge.
How do Spekit and Showell handle content and CRM?
Spekit's content model is governance-first. Its GTM Knowledge Engine stores content as Speks with owners, version history and conflict and decay detection, syncing from Google Drive, SharePoint and Confluence, and its AI answers cite approved Speks; Revenue Analytics adds a Governance Dashboard for content freshness and ownership and Salesforce-linked views of which content correlates with closed-won deals. Embedded Enablement is how it reaches the seller, documenting Salesforce objects, fields and picklist values in place and naming HubSpot, Gong and Salesloft. Its Salesforce integration is described as "two-way and purpose-built", with fields syncing into a data dictionary, and SSO and provisioning run through Okta, PingOne, Azure and OneLogin with 2FA.
Showell's content model is distribution-first, and its CRM story carries a commercial catch worth catching early. Its integrations page says Salesforce users can "access, share and track content without leaving Salesforce", that Showell is integrated within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and supports HubSpot sharing and engagement tracking, with Pipedrive and SAP C4C marked as custom implementations, plus Outlook, Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and SMS for sharing, Pimcore, inriver and Akeneo for PIM, and Okta, MS Entra ID and Microsoft AD FS for SSO. But on its pricing page the Salesforce, HubSpot and MS Dynamics CRM integrations, "Sync shares and tracking to CRM" and Salesforce Dashboards support are all listed as add-ons, as are Salesforce SSO and identity management (SSO). Included instead are Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive, MS SharePoint and Teams, an API and custom integrations as a service. So on Showell the CRM connection is a line item; on Spekit it is the product.
The other asymmetry is digital asset management. Showell ships connectors for Adobe Experience Cloud, Aprimo, Asset Media Bank, Bynder and Uptempo as paid add-ons and lists Canto, Brandfolder and Dropbox among its storage tools, which suits a marketing team that already governs assets in a DAM and wants Showell as the field-facing layer on top. Spekit syncs from Google Drive, SharePoint and Confluence and expects to be the governance layer itself. If you already own a DAM, that difference decides which product duplicates your existing stack.
Training is thin on both sides, in different ways. Showell's LMS offers learning paths, courses and lessons, quizzes, progress tracking and restricted course access, and it is an unpriced add-on on the pricing page; no role play, video coaching, AI practice or scoring is described on its LMS or training pages. Spekit's Learning Paths are role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications, with Spekit saying many teams use them in place of a separate LMS, but SCORM is not mentioned and no native AI role play or call scoring is described either. Neither of these is the platform to buy if practice and certification are the reason you are buying.
How do Spekit and Showell compare on AI?
Spekit is further along and more open about it. AI Sidekick is its coach with Agentic Actions, and its June 2026 GTM Knowledge Engine 2.0 release added Brand Studio, a generally available AI Content Builder, a Dashboard Agent for analytics and Spekit MCP in beta, working with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Glean, Gemini and custom agents, with Amplitude named as an MCP beta customer (release). The MCP page lists search of governed knowledge inside an LLM, product launch kits, bulk content updates and creating Deal Rooms from a prompt. It does not say whether MCP is included in a package or sold separately, and we could not establish whether it has left beta, so both belong in a quote conversation.
Showell AI is narrower and more conservative. It answers questions and drafts product comparisons, email drafts and summaries from the customer's own content, gives answers "in the language that fits their market", and Showell states that it "does not use your content for model training" - a clearer data commitment than Spekit publishes anywhere we checked. AI search and AI content recommendations are ticked on the pricing page, and Professional includes "Unlimited Showell AI", which is unusually generous phrasing for an AI feature. What it does not have is agents: no AI agents and no MCP server are described on its AI page, and no AI role play, scoring or practice appears anywhere on its product pages.
Neither vendor lists conversation intelligence or meeting recording of its own. Spekit takes call data from its Gong and Chorus integrations - it expanded the Gong integration on 24 November 2025 so Gong call recaps and next steps appear inside AI Sidekick, and its Deal Rooms flag outdated content after each Gong call - while Showell names no Microsoft Teams, calendar or video integrations at all on its integrations page. If recorded-call insight is part of your requirement, Spekit reaches it through Gong and Showell does not reach it.
How does Spekit pricing compare to Showell pricing?
They publish opposite amounts, and the billing unit is the real difference rather than the figure. Showell publishes a starting price per workspace: Professional reads "Starting at $715" and "Per workspace (including users) per month." for "10-200 users", with the card listing a sales app with your brand, unlimited storage, unlimited digital sales rooms and unlimited Showell AI. Enterprise, for "200+ users", is "Request a Quote" with all Professional features plus custom pricing, volume discounts and tailored payment and contract terms, and a cost calculator estimates Professional pricing up to 200 users. Because users are included in the workspace fee, the cost per seat falls as the team grows: $715 a month is $8,580 a year, which is about $71 per user per year at 10 users and about $43 at 200 - our arithmetic from the published starting rate, not a Showell quote, and "Starting at" does not promise the floor rate holds at 200 users.
One qualification on that figure, and it matters if you are buying from Europe. The page shows only a dollar sign and names no currency code anywhere, and Showell is a Finnish company that repeats the same "$715" on its own Showpad-alternative landing page served under a /eur/ path. We could not resolve from the pages themselves whether a euro-zone visitor is quoted euros, so treat $715 as the US-facing list figure as served on 22 October 2026 and get the currency confirmed in a quote. No discount badge, "was/now" pair or countdown appeared beside it, so it is a standing rate rather than a promotion.
Spekit publishes nothing. On 22 October 2026 its pricing page showed no dollar amount, currency symbol, per-user rate, billing unit, seat minimum, contract length or discount, and no free plan or trial wording appeared; its meta description says "Pricing and packages are completely customizable based on your organization size, needs, and use case". The page is set to noindex and was not linked from the homepage navigation when checked. What it does publish is a three-package comparison: Adoption (Chrome Extension, Embedded Speks, Content Templates, Spotlights), JIT Knowledge (adding file upload and management, content integrations, Outlook and Slack extensions, Knowledge Checks, AI Sidekick and trackable link sharing) and GTM Content (adding Deal Rooms and Revenue Insights). Learning Paths, MCP, Spekit Slides, Brand Studio and AI Content Builder are not listed against any package, so ask where they sit.
For third-party data, only Spekit has a usable benchmark. Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, last updated February 2026, with a range of $8,749 to $60,227, and describes pricing as per user per month with tiers tied to features, integrations and support; its buyer guide estimates $15-$25 per user per month at 25-50 users, $12-$20 at 50-500 and $10-$18 at 500-1,000, with onboarding estimated at $5,000-$25,000 or more. Those are Vendr's own estimates and tier names, not Spekit's. Vendr's Showell page could not be opened in our sessions and G2 lists Showell's plans as "Contact Us", so there is no dated benchmark with a sample size for Showell. Set against Vendr's Spekit figure of $16,308 from 36 purchases, Showell's published $8,580 a year at the starting rate looks cheaper on paper - but Spekit's figure is a contract that includes whatever packages and seat counts those 36 buyers took, and Showell's is a floor before the CRM integrations and LMS add-ons that many buyers will need.
| Question | Spekit | Showell |
|---|---|---|
| Published price | None: no figure, currency, billing unit or rate | "Starting at $715" for Professional; Enterprise "Request a Quote" |
| Billing unit | Not published; Vendr describes per user per month | "Per workspace (including users) per month." for 10-200 users |
| Currency | Not applicable - no figure shown | Only a "$" symbol; no currency code named on the page |
| Tiers | Adoption, JIT Knowledge, GTM Content | Professional (10-200 users), Enterprise (200+ users) |
| Free plan or trial | None described on its pages | None in the body; the page title says "Free Plan Available!" but the service terms list the Free and Essential plans as legacy |
| Contract term | Not published | 12-month minimum with automatic renewal; at least 90 days' notice to cancel; no refunds for prepaid periods |
| Discounts | Not published | FAQ says yes for annual plans, larger teams and commitments beyond 12 months, without amounts |
| Notable add-ons | Not stated per package; services, CSM and QBRs listed without saying whether they are included | LMS, Salesforce, HubSpot and MS Dynamics CRM integrations, CRM share and tracking sync, Salesforce Dashboards, Slide Designer, multiple workspaces, custom domain, DAM connectors - none priced |
The contract terms are where Showell asks for more than its price suggests. A 12-month minimum with automatic renewal, at least 90 days' notice before the renewal date and no refunds for prepaid periods is a tighter commitment than many published-price tools, and it is published rather than hidden - which is to Showell's credit, but it means a 15-month decision window in practice. Setup and onboarding are included on both Showell plans, with Showell saying the total cost depends on the number of business units or countries, required integrations and the level of training needed. On Spekit, Vendr estimates onboarding separately at $5,000-$25,000 or more, which is a Vendr estimate rather than a Spekit price, and Spekit's own page lists a content services team, a dedicated CSM, technical support and strategic sessions and QBRs without saying whether any of it is included.
What do Spekit and Showell say about security?
Showell makes the stronger published claim, particularly for European buyers. Its security and privacy page states an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system, claims "100% GDPR/CCPA compliance", says data is hosted in AWS data centres in the EU, and names end-to-end encryption, role-based access and multi-factor authentication. Two caveats: the certifying body and certificate date are not stated, and while its security page does not mention SOC 2 at all, its pricing page lists a "SOC2 compliant cloud service" without saying whose report that refers to. On identity, its pricing page ticks Microsoft, Google and OpenID Connect SSO and multi-factor authentication as included, with Salesforce SSO and identity management (SSO) as add-ons - so SSO is partly a paid item.
Spekit names SOC 2 and no ISO. It announced a completed SOC 2 Type II audit by Dansa D'Arata Soucia LLP on a security page dated 1 March 2021, with the report available from Customer Success and external penetration testing completed; its current site says "SOC 2 compliant", and no ISO certification appears on the pages we checked. Its Trust Center could not be opened in our sessions, so the current report period and any ISO 27001 or GDPR attestations are unverified. Both vendors' claims are their own statements; ask each for the certificate or report, its date and its scope, and for Spekit ask specifically whether the Chrome extension's in-browser access sits inside that scope.
Frequently asked questions
Which is better, Spekit or Showell?
They are built for different sellers. Showell suits field and dealer-facing teams that need a branded app able to present and share content offline on iPad, Android, Windows or Mac, with a published starting price and users included. Spekit suits inside sellers who live in the CRM, surfacing governed Speks and Spotlights through a Chrome extension, with deal rooms and an MCP server. Offline presenting is the dividing line.
How much do Spekit and Showell cost?
Showell publishes Professional as "Starting at $715" and "Per workspace (including users) per month." for 10-200 users, with Enterprise at 200+ users quoted; the page names no currency code beyond the "$". Spekit publishes nothing: no figure, currency, billing unit, seat minimum, contract length or discount appeared on 22 October 2026. Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, last updated February 2026.
Does Spekit or Showell work offline?
Showell does. It ships web, iPad, iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac apps, with the mobile and desktop apps listing "Offline access & presenting", and its Smart Sales Tools "run entirely offline", holding CRM, ERP or PIM data on the device until it reconnects; tools needing real-time data cannot run offline. Spekit names only a Chrome extension, with no mobile app and no public API described, so it needs a connected browser.
Are Showell's CRM integrations included in the price?
No. Showell's pricing page lists the Salesforce, HubSpot and MS Dynamics CRM integrations, "Sync shares and tracking to CRM" and Salesforce Dashboards support as add-ons, along with Salesforce SSO and identity management (SSO), the LMS, Slide Designer, multiple workspaces, a custom domain and the DAM connectors. None of those add-ons carries a published price. Spekit, by contrast, builds its product around a two-way Salesforce integration.
Does either Spekit or Showell include AI role play?
Neither does. Spekit describes no native AI role play or call scoring; its Learning Paths can embed separate role-play tools. Showell's LMS add-on offers learning paths, courses, quizzes and progress tracking, with no role play, video coaching, AI practice or scoring described. If practice and certification are your reason for buying, both would need a specialist alongside them.
What are Showell's contract terms?
Published, and tighter than its price suggests. Its pricing FAQ states a 12-month minimum commitment with automatic renewal, at least 90 days' notice to cancel before the renewal date and no refunds for prepaid periods; seats can be added at any time and downgrades apply from the next billing cycle. It says discounts are available for annual plans, larger teams and commitments beyond 12 months, without naming amounts. Spekit publishes no contract terms at all.
