Spekit vs Seismic in 2026: in-app knowledge vs enterprise content

Two quote-only enablement platforms compared on content governance, in-app delivery, training, rooms, AI agents and MCP, integrations and Vendr price data.

Spekit or Seismic: which should you choose?

Spekit vs Seismic compares two ways to govern sales knowledge. Choose Spekit for governed guidance inside Salesforce and other web apps via a Chrome extension, with MCP. Choose Seismic for a governed enterprise content library with LiveDocs, meeting intelligence, Aura agents and 150+ integrations.

Choose Spekit if…

  • The problem is adoption, not storage: Spekit puts Speks and Spotlights inside web apps through its Chrome extension and documents Salesforce fields and picklist values beside the record.
  • You want enablement content in your AI assistants without the top tier: Spekit lists MCP access in its entry Just-in-Time Enablement package, naming Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Glean and Gemini.
  • You want onboarding without a separate LMS: Spekit says many teams use its Learning Paths, with AI-generated Knowledge Checks, in place of one for sales onboarding.
  • Budget is tighter: Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, against $31,950 for Seismic from 415.

Choose Seismic if…

  • You govern a large, regulated or multi-region library: Seismic lists version control, brand compliance, LiveDocs document automation and content usage tied to pipeline and revenue.
  • You want calls captured too: Seismic for Meetings records and transcribes meetings and drafts AI follow-ups; Spekit takes call data from Gong.
  • You need many integrations: Seismic claims 150+, naming Salesforce, Oracle, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Gong, where Spekit names one CRM, Salesforce.
  • You want AI role play in the same platform: Seismic's learning product lists AI-powered role-plays and assessments; Spekit sells AI roleplay only as a separately priced add-on.

What is the difference between Spekit and Seismic?

Both promise governed content. They govern different units. Seismic governs documents: its content product offers "full version control, governance, and brand compliance" in one system, LiveDocs that tailor documents without manual edits, AI search and recommendations by deal stage, persona or product, and analytics tying usage to pipeline. Spekit governs knowledge: its homepage calls it "a governed content library powered by an AI-first knowledge engine" (Spekit), and its Embedded Enablement breaks guidance into short Speks delivered inside Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, HubSpot and other web apps through a Chrome extension.

The delivery model follows. Seismic integrates widely, claiming 150+ integrations and naming Salesforce, Oracle, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Gong (Seismic integrations). Spekit's integrations page names Salesforce as its CRM, Google Drive, SharePoint and Confluence for content, Slack, Gmail and Outlook, Gong, and Okta, PingOne, Azure and OneLogin for SSO; it mentions no mobile app and no public API beyond MCP.

Both have rooms. Spekit's AI Deal Rooms track stakeholder engagement, alert Slack channels and draw on Gong and Salesforce data, and come with its GTM Acceleration package. Seismic's rooms give buying teams a space to tag, comment and post questions, with engagement alerts.

How do Spekit and Seismic compare on AI, training and calls?

Spekit's AI is a coach in the browser. AI Sidekick is grounded in your governed content, runs as a Chrome extension "in any browser tab", surfaces in Salesforce, Gmail, Gong and Slack, and offers one-click Agentic Actions. Learning Paths add role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications; paths can embed role-play tools, and AI roleplay is a white-labelled add-on outside both packages (Spekit pricing).

Seismic's AI is a set of agents across the platform. Aura AI describes agents for enablement, buyer engagement and coaching, opt-in generative AI and no customer data sent to third parties for training. At Shift on 13 October 2026 Seismic showed Deal Agent, Library Agent, which finds outdated or conflicting messaging and proposes fixes for approval, and an MCP server for assistants from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Meta (DestinationCRM). Its learning product lists courses, AI-powered role-plays and AI-driven assessments, and Seismic for Meetings records and transcribes meetings.

Both now reach outside AI tools. Spekit MCP names Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Glean and Gemini and works in both directions, so content made in those tools can return to Spekit. Seismic's MCP server was shown in October 2026; ask which product line and package include it.

How does Spekit pricing compare to Seismic pricing?

Neither publishes figures. Spekit prices per seat, "quoted based on your requirements", across two packages: Just-in-Time Enablement and GTM Acceleration, which adds AI Deal Rooms, deal agents and buyer engagement analytics (Spekit pricing). Seismic links no pricing page from its site, and seismic.com/pricing/ did not load when we checked on 27 October 2026.

Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases (range $8,749 to $60,227) and a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year from 415 purchases (range $8,993 to $179,008), both last updated February 2026 (Vendr Spekit, Vendr Seismic). The Spekit sample is small. Use both as directional ranges, not quotes.

Ownership is the last check. Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026 and operates as Seismic (Highspot blog). Spekit, based in Denver, says it "has raised over $60M" and shows no merger on its site (Spekit). On security, Spekit announced a SOC 2 Type 2 audit by Dansa D'Arata Soucia LLP on a page dated 1 March 2021 and links a trust centre (Spekit security); ask for the current report period.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better, Spekit or Seismic?

Neither for every team. Spekit suits teams whose problem is getting reps to use approved knowledge inside Salesforce and the browser. Seismic suits enterprises whose problem is governing and personalising a large content library across many teams, with meeting intelligence and many integrations.

How much do Spekit and Seismic cost?

Neither publishes prices. Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year (36 purchases) and a median Seismic contract of $31,950 a year (415 purchases), both last updated February 2026. Spekit quotes per seat by package and team size.

Does Spekit replace Seismic?

For some teams. Spekit says many teams use its Learning Paths in place of an LMS for sales onboarding, and it governs content as Speks. It does not describe document automation like Seismic's LiveDocs or meeting recording, and sells AI roleplay only as an add-on, so teams that rely on those would need other tools or the add-on.

Do Spekit and Seismic have MCP servers?

Yes. Spekit MCP names Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Glean and Gemini and is listed in Spekit's entry package. Seismic showed an MCP server under "Seismic Everywhere" at its Shift event in October 2026.
