Second Nature or Yoodli: which should you choose?
Second Nature vs Yoodli compares two AI role-play specialists. Yoodli publishes individual prices and quotes team plans; Second Nature's site lists none. Choose Second Nature for video-avatar, presentation and demo simulations. Choose Yoodli for AI tutors, coaching on real Gong calls and a Highspot integration.
Choose Second Nature if…
- You want reps to practise with video avatars, multi-persona meetings, webcam pitch recordings, slide presentations and screen-share product demos.
- You want a built-in LMS, or role plays delivered into Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors or Adobe Learning Manager through SCORM or LTI.
- Your security review asks for more than SOC 2: its Enterprise page lists SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001, plus GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA compliance.
- You want scoring you can tune: knowledge and style weighted 70% and 30% by default, editable criteria, and manager evaluations for certification.
Choose Yoodli if…
- You want to see prices before a demo: Starter is free with five lifetime roleplays, Pro is $8 a month and Advanced $20 a month, billed annually.
- You want AI tutors that teach the material before reps practise, and learning journeys that Yoodli Create drafts from a prompt and your own sources.
- You want coaching on real calls: Yoodli Coach scores calls from Gong and Kaia against your rubric and sends nudges in Slack, Teams or email.
- You run Highspot and want roleplays launched inside it, or you want Yoodli available in Claude and ChatGPT through MCP.

What is the difference between Second Nature and Yoodli?
Both sell AI role play and coaching rather than a full enablement suite, but they package it differently. Second Nature's homepage leads with "AI Role Plays and Coaching that Turn Training into Go-To-Market Execution" and shows video-avatar role plays and multi-persona avatar meetings for B2B and B2C (Second Nature). Its product page adds an AI coach called Jenny, sales certifications, gamified challenges and a built-in LMS, and its FAQ lists four simulation formats: live conversations with AI personas, webcam pitch recordings, slide presentations where the AI asks questions, and product demos with screen sharing. Its homepage also describes Deal Coach, which gives reps AI coaching on live deals.
Yoodli began as an AI public speaking coach and built its business on AI roleplays; on 7 October 2026 it expanded into "the AI Platform for Human Skills", with five products: Roleplays, Personas, Create, Coach and Measure (release). Roleplays adds AI tutors that teach the material before practice, multi-persona scenarios such as a whole buying committee, and video, chat or AI-avatar formats with two-way screen share. Personas are AI counterparts that can be embedded on a partner portal, an LMS or a website, and Create drafts a learning journey of roleplays, tutoring sessions and knowledge checks from a written prompt; its page says "No slide-heavy courses".
Their markets overlap but are not the same. Second Nature has use-case pages for sales, customer support, call centres, human resources and learning and development, and industry pages for insurance, technology, telco, financial services and education. Yoodli's use cases cover sales training, customer support, onboarding and certification, partner enablement and public speaking (Yoodli), and it runs a partner programme for coaching and training firms that names Sandler, Korn Ferry and FranklinCovey. Second Nature's partner page names no partners. Neither describes a sales content library, sales plays or digital sales rooms on its product pages, and we found no integration between the two.
Both are venture-backed, and we found no acquisition or merger for either as of October 2026. Second Nature, with offices in Tel Aviv and New York, raised a $12.5 million Series A in January 2022 (PR Newswire) and a $22 million Series B led by Sienna VC on 16 October 2025, with Zoom among the investors (IT Brief). Yoodli launched at the AI2 incubator in Seattle in 2021 and raised $13.7 million in May 2025 (GeekWire), then a $40 million Series B led by WestBridge Capital in December 2025 (Yoodli); TechCrunch reported a valuation of more than $300 million (TechCrunch), and GeekWire reported about 100 employees in October 2026 (GeekWire).
Neither has a Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave or IDC MarketScape placement that we found. Yoodli says it is named among the point solutions in Gartner's Market Overview for B2B Sales AI Role-Play Applications (7 August 2026), whose public abstract names no vendors, and that it was included in Forrester's Revenue Enablement Platforms Landscape, Q1 2026, a list of vendors rather than an evaluation. Second Nature lists a 2021 Gartner Cool Vendor report in conversation intelligence for B2B sales.
How do Second Nature and Yoodli score and coach reps?
Second Nature builds its scoring around practice. Role plays are built in a Course Editor from uploaded files, sales-methodology templates or a blank start, and its AI drafts evaluation criteria that you can edit. Its FAQ says the AI scores knowledge (accuracy and topic coverage) and style (pace, clarity, energy and filler words), weighted 70% and 30% by default, in about 45 to 90 seconds. Managers can change the criteria and add manual evaluations for certification, reps can ask for a score review, and reports include proficiency heatmaps. Coverage of its Series B says it models each client's sales and service methods from call recordings, marketing materials and scripts, but on the pages we checked it does not describe scoring real customer calls, so ask in a demo if you need that.
Yoodli scores roleplays against the organisation's own rubric and certifies completed roleplays. Its Coach product adds weekly coaching on real calls pulled from Gong and Kaia, scored against the customer's rubric, with nudges and a weekly digest in Slack, Teams and email. Measure reports readiness and certification status by programme, completion by cohort and skill trends by individual, team, role and region, with exportable executive reports; Yoodli says it can tie skill gains to ramp, win rate and CSAT, which is its own description. Its sales page lists uploads of scripts, battlecards and GTM materials, custom personas and rubrics, and AI certification in place of manual roleplays.
Languages are close: Second Nature says it supports more than 25 languages, including 12+ English accents, though its homepage says 30+, and Yoodli's Roleplays page lists 28+. Pilot both with the same scenario, rubric and managers, and compare how each handles your hardest objection.
How do Second Nature and Yoodli compare on integrations and security?
Both connect to an LMS through SCORM or LTI. Second Nature also offers its own LMS, and its FAQ names Cornerstone, Docebo, SuccessFactors and Adobe Learning Manager, plus API-based data exchange. Its Enterprise page says it works with HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoom out of the box, and Capterra lists 14 integrations, including Docebo, SCORM Cloud, Workday Learning, Slack and Okta. Yoodli supports SCORM 1.2 and LTI 1.1 and 1.3 and names Docebo and Moodle, but its help centre says "LMS integrations are only available for organizations on an Enterprise plan" (Yoodli).
Only Yoodli describes an integration with a sales enablement platform on its own pages. Since 15 May 2025, Highspot users can launch Yoodli roleplays inside Highspot, for enterprise customers through a Yoodli or Highspot representative (Yoodli). Its homepage integrations section also shows Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach and Gong; Zoom, Google Meet, Teams and Slack; Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot; and Docebo, Intellum, Seismic, Showpad and Workday. Its Coach page also names Gong, Salesforce, HubSpot and MCP, but Seismic, Showpad, Intellum, Workday and Outreach appear only as logos on the pages we opened, so ask for documentation on the ones you need. Second Nature names no Highspot, Seismic or Mindtickle integration on its own pages.
Second Nature states more security detail. Its Enterprise page lists SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certification, GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA compliance, and SSO and SCIM through Okta, Azure, AD and Ping Identity; its FAQ says data is stored in a Google Cloud data centre in the Netherlands, its language models run on Azure, and customer data is not used to train AI models. Yoodli announced SOC 2 Type 2 certification on 8 August 2024 (Yoodli) and states GDPR compliance, SSO, SCIM and role-based access. Its trust centre did not open for us, so other certifications and its hosting region are unverified. On Yoodli's individual Starter and Pro plans, session data may be used to improve the platform; Advanced excludes roleplay data from AI training, and Team and Enterprise exclude it by default.
How does Second Nature pricing compare to Yoodli pricing?
Only Yoodli lists prices on its site, and only for individuals. Its pricing page lists Starter, with five lifetime roleplays, which the site presents as free ("Try Yoodli Free"); Pro at "$8/month billed annually", with up to 10 roleplays a week and feedback on uploaded recordings; and Advanced at "$20/month billed annually", with unlimited roleplays, roleplay data excluded from AI training and support for employer reimbursement as a professional development benefit. Individual plans can also be billed monthly, and the annual toggle reads "SAVE 40%"; we could not read the monthly figures. A roleplay is any practice session over 30 seconds, and Yoodli offers no refunds on cancellation.
Team features sit in Yoodli's Team and Enterprise plans, "For organizations and coaching companies", which are priced by team size and use case through a demo. They add unlimited custom roleplays built around your rubric, ICP and methodology, team dashboards and roleplay assignment, SSO, SCIM and data retention, and LMS, CMS and HRIS integrations. Its demo form shows no prices, seat minimums or trial terms, so the individual prices do not show what a team plan costs.
Second Nature routes pricing questions to a demo, and its homepage offers free role plays to try. Its G2 listing, with pricing information last updated on 12 November 2025, says "Minimum average deal starts at 20K USD". Its FAQ says the enterprise package includes five training sessions and mentions quarterly business reviews. Vendr shows a figure for Second Nature but no sample size or update date, so we do not repeat it, and we could not open Vendr's or G2's pricing pages for Yoodli. When you compare quotes, ask each vendor to price the same users, languages, LMS and CRM integrations, real-call coaching and onboarding, and to state in writing whether your data is used for AI training.
