Spekit vs SalesHood in 2026: in-flow enablement against training

Two quote-only revenue enablement platforms compared on knowledge delivery, training and role play, deal rooms, AI agents, integrations, security and pricing.

Spekit or SalesHood: which should you choose?

Spekit vs SalesHood compares two revenue enablement platforms that publish no prices. Spekit delivers governed knowledge in the flow of work through a Chrome extension, with deal rooms and an MCP server. SalesHood sells editions covering training, AI role play and buyer sites.

Choose Spekit if…

  • Reps will not open another portal: Spekit's Embedded Enablement places no-code "Speks" and Spotlights notifications inside the CRM or any web app through a Chrome extension, and documents Salesforce objects, fields and picklist values in place.
  • You run on Salesforce and want the data dictionary too: Spekit calls its Salesforce integration "two-way and purpose-built", syncing fields into a data dictionary, and puts Salesforce-linked views of which content correlates with closed-won deals in its analytics.
  • You want governed knowledge your AI assistants can read: the GTM Knowledge Engine stores content as Speks with owners, version history and conflict and decay detection, and Spekit MCP exposes it to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Glean.
  • You already have an LMS: Spekit's Learning Paths are role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications, and it says many teams use them in place of a separate LMS - but it describes no native AI role play or call scoring at all.

Choose SalesHood if…

  • Certification and practice are the point: SalesHood lists AI Role Play with live voice AI buyers, configurable persona, demeanour and objections, scoring against a scorecard of up to 10 criteria with an 80% default pass mark, and live talking avatars in beta.
  • You want onboarding programmes built from your own content: its AI Program Builder turns existing content into onboarding, learning and certification programmes with learning paths, assessments, peer feedback and readiness analytics.
  • You sell in many languages: SalesHood announced native support for 19 languages in July 2026 across interface, content, learning, AI coaching, role play and buyer engagement, though its pricing table caps languages at 2 and 6 on its lower editions.
  • Analyst placement matters to your committee: SalesHood says it was named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, where Spekit says it was placed as a Visionary in the same report.

What is the difference between Spekit and SalesHood?

Both call themselves revenue enablement platforms and both sell content, learning and buyer-facing rooms, but they start from opposite assumptions about where a seller does their work. Spekit assumes the seller never leaves the CRM: it calls itself the Rep Acceleration Platform, "AI-first revenue enablement for every rep and every agent", delivered in the flow of work (Spekit), and its central idea is the "Spek", a governed piece of knowledge surfaced in context. SalesHood assumes the seller comes to a programme: its homepage headline is "Revenue enablement at AI speed" and it describes itself as "the AI-powered revenue enablement platform for sales enablement, onboarding, coaching, and buyer engagement", with its platform page listing six applications - Content Management, Training & Onboarding, AI Coaching, AI Role Play, Guided Selling and Digital Sales Rooms.

That difference shows up most clearly in what each one does not build. Spekit describes no native AI role play and no call scoring anywhere on its pages; its Learning Paths are role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications, and the page says paths can embed role-play tools - meaning someone else's. It also lists no conversation intelligence of its own, taking call data from Gong and Chorus integrations instead. SalesHood, conversely, has no in-browser overlay: its Guided Selling product lists interactive playbooks, AI Answers & Guidance, dynamic pages, playbook templates, leaderboards and playbook insights, but its page names no CRM or collaboration tool it runs inside, and the marketing site has no integrations page at all.

Both ship buyer-facing rooms, and both put them above their entry tier. Spekit's AI Deal Rooms track engagement per named stakeholder with real-time Slack alerts and pull Gong transcripts and Salesforce opportunity data into room creation; it relaunched them on 10 September 2026 with buyer-branded microsites, Dynamic Deal Content that flags outdated content after each Gong call, Spekit Slides, a Deals Dashboard and AI Content Builder outputs including mutual action plans (release). SalesHood's Digital Sales Rooms, also called Client Sites, are no-code branded microsites with mutual action plans, GenAI call recaps, personalised video messages, content templates and real-time engagement tracking synced with CRM data; a December 2025 release added AI call recaps from Zoom and Gong meetings, mutual action plan templates and an enhanced HubSpot integration. Neither lists e-signature.

On scale and stage they are closer than the positioning suggests. Spekit, Inc. was founded in 2018 by Melanie Fellay (CEO) and Zari Zahra, is headquartered in Denver, says it has "raised over $60M", and acquired the AI start-up Cquence on 18 December 2024 with terms undisclosed. SalesHood was bootstrapped in May 2013 by former Salesforce enablement leader Elay Cohen and Arthur Do, announced a Series A led by TeleSoft Partners on 3 May 2017 without stating the amount, and has announced no later round or acquisition from a primary source we found. Both are independent, venture-scale rather than enterprise-scale companies, and neither is part of a larger group.

How do Spekit and SalesHood deliver content and knowledge?

Spekit's answer is governance plus context. Its GTM Knowledge Engine stores content as Speks with owners, version history and conflict and decay detection, syncing from Google Drive, SharePoint and Confluence, and AI answers cite approved Speks. Its Embedded Enablement places those Speks and Spotlights notifications inside the CRM or any web app through the Chrome extension, documenting Salesforce objects, fields and picklist values in place, and naming HubSpot, Gong and Salesloft. The June 2026 GTM Knowledge Engine 2.0 release added Brand Studio, AI Content Builder, a Dashboard Agent and Spekit MCP in beta (release). The constraint to note is delivery: only a Chrome extension is named on its integrations page, with no mobile app and no public API described.

SalesHood's answer is a library with AI on top. Its Content Management product lists AI Content Search, a centralised sales library, dynamic content pages, contextual content recommendations, AI Content Publisher, content performance insights and AI Content Audit, with content available in Salesforce, Microsoft and Gmail. That is a narrower delivery surface than an any-web-app overlay but a broader one than a portal alone. Integrations named across SalesHood's own pages are Google Drive, Microsoft, Salesforce and Slack on the homepage, Box, Dropbox and SharePoint file sync on the pricing page, Gmail on the content page, and HubSpot, Zoom and Gong in a December 2025 release. Neither vendor lists a public integrations directory we could verify in full.

Analytics is where the two diverge again. Spekit's Revenue Analytics includes a conversational Dashboard Agent, a Governance Dashboard for content freshness and ownership, Salesforce-linked views of which content correlates with closed-won deals, and scheduled report delivery - so the reporting is pointed at content governance and pipeline correlation. SalesHood's Impact Insights offers embedded analytics, dynamic leaderboards, performance heat maps, content, learning and search insights, content audit, and reporting on buyer engagement and pipeline influenced by sales content - so it reports on programmes and people as well as content. If your enablement team is measured on certification and ramp, SalesHood reports on that natively; if it is measured on content freshness and attribution, Spekit does.

How do Spekit and SalesHood compare on AI and role play?

This is the sharpest split on the page, and for many buyers it will settle the decision. SalesHood ships AI role play as a product. Its AI Role Play page describes live voice conversations with an AI buyer built from a scenario, with configurable persona, demeanour and objections, scoring each attempt against a scorecard of up to 10 criteria with an 80% default pass mark for certification, drafting role plays from SalesHood content, and listing live talking avatars as in beta. AI Coaching adds pitch practice, scorecards and recommendations, just-in-time skills assessments, manager coaching insights, an AI Training and Role-Play Builder, coaching huddles, peer feedback and gamified challenges. Spekit describes none of this: no native AI role play, no call scoring, no practice product.

Spekit's AI goes the other way, into agents and interoperability. AI Sidekick is its coach with Agentic Actions, alongside an AI Content Builder and a Dashboard Agent for analytics, and Spekit MCP exposes governed knowledge to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Glean, listing search of governed knowledge inside an LLM, product launch kits, bulk content updates and creating Deal Rooms from a prompt. Amplitude is named as an MCP beta customer. Two caveats: the MCP page does not say whether MCP is included in a package or sold separately, and we could not establish whether it has moved out of the beta it launched in during June 2026. SalesHood presents its AI as one assistant rather than agents - AI Teammate is "One AI assistant for every revenue workflow" in three parts, Ask SalesHood AI, AI Coaching and Create With AI - and no MCP server appears on its pages.

The practical read: if you want practice and certification in the platform, SalesHood is the one that ships it, and Spekit expects you to buy a role-play specialist and embed it in a Learning Path. If you want governed knowledge that your own AI assistants and agents can query, Spekit is the one that publishes an MCP server, and SalesHood keeps its AI inside its own product. Neither position is wrong; they are different bets about where the AI sits.

On what each says about data, both are thin, and it is a fair question for both. None of the SalesHood pages we checked states whether customer content or role-play recordings are used to train models, and none of the Spekit pages states its AI data-handling terms either. Ask both in writing.

How does Spekit pricing compare to SalesHood pricing?

Neither publishes a price, so the comparison is between two quoting models rather than two rate cards - and the shapes differ in a way that matters. Spekit's pricing page showed no dollar amount, currency symbol, per-user rate, billing unit, seat minimum, contract length or discount on 22 October 2026, and no free plan or trial wording appeared anywhere on it. Its meta description says "Pricing and packages are completely customizable based on your organization size, needs, and use case". What it does publish is a three-package comparison: Adoption (Chrome Extension, Embedded Speks, Content Templates, Spotlights), JIT Knowledge (adding file upload and management, content integrations, Outlook and Slack extensions, Knowledge Checks, AI Sidekick and trackable link sharing) and GTM Content (adding Deal Rooms and Revenue Insights). The page is also set to noindex and was not linked from the homepage navigation when checked, which tells you how much Spekit expects you to use it.

SalesHood publishes no figures either but publishes harder limits, which is more useful. Its pricing page shows three editions - Essential ("Build your enablement foundation."), Pro ("Accelerate revenue execution.", labelled "Popular") and Unlimited ("Scale enablement across your enterprise.") - and asks buyers to "Talk with our team to build the right package." Its comparison table caps AI Pitch Practice and AI Role Play at 10 "Submissions/license" on Essential and 80 on Pro, unlimited on Unlimited; languages at 2, 6 and unlimited; Customizable Pages at 10 and 30; and Learning Paths at 10 on Essential. MEDDPICC content is marked as an add-on on all three editions. Those numbers let you work out which edition you need before a price exists, which Spekit's packages do not.

The tier at which each one gives you rooms is the other thing to compare. Deal Rooms sit on Spekit's top GTM Content package and digital sales rooms sit on SalesHood's middle Pro edition, so on both platforms a room is an upgrade from the entry tier rather than a standard feature. On Spekit, the entry Adoption package is in-app guidance only - extension, Speks, templates and Spotlights - with file management and AI Sidekick arriving on JIT Knowledge. On SalesHood, Essential covers content, training, readiness and capped AI practice, and Pro is where rooms, mutual action plans, guided selling and AI coaching begin.

Third-party data exists for one of the two. Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, last updated February 2026, with a range of $8,749 to $60,227, and describes pricing as per user per month with tiers tied to features, integrations and support; its separate buyer guide estimates $15-$25 per user per month at 25-50 users, $12-$20 at 50-500 and $10-$18 at 500-1,000, with onboarding estimated at $5,000-$25,000 or more - Vendr's own estimates and tier names, not Spekit's. Vendr's SalesHood page carries figures but states no purchase count behind them, so there is no sample size to judge them by and we do not repeat them; it does describe per-user, per-month subscriptions with annual contracts standard and two- or three-year terms offered, and it uses tier names that do not match SalesHood's own. Neither Vendr page could be re-opened on 22 October 2026, so February 2026 stands as the last date we confirmed.

What do Spekit and SalesHood say about security?

Spekit says more, and both leave gaps. Spekit announced a completed SOC 2 Type II audit by Dansa D'Arata Soucia LLP on a security page dated 1 March 2021, with the report available from Customer Success and external penetration testing completed; its current site says "SOC 2 compliant", and no ISO certification is named on the pages we checked. Its Trust Center could not be opened in our sessions, so the current report period and any ISO 27001 or GDPR attestations are unverified. On identity, its integrations page lists SSO and provisioning through Okta, PingOne, Azure and OneLogin with 2FA. SalesHood names no security certification at all on its product or pricing pages, and its Trust Center could not be opened either, so we can confirm no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or other attestation from a page we have read - which is not a claim that it holds none. Its pricing page does list custom SAML SSO, user provisioning, and Google and Salesforce OAuth.

For both, the practical step is the same: ask for the report, its period and its scope in writing, and ask specifically whether role-play recordings (SalesHood) and in-browser capture through the extension (Spekit) fall inside it. Neither vendor's public pages answer those questions, and both handle content that would be in scope for most security reviews.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better, Spekit or SalesHood?

Neither in general; they solve different halves of enablement. Spekit suits teams whose reps will not open a separate portal, delivering governed Speks and Spotlights inside the CRM through a Chrome extension, with deal rooms and an MCP server for your own AI assistants. SalesHood suits teams whose priority is onboarding, certification and AI role-play practice, with buyer-facing sales rooms from its Pro edition. Spekit describes no native role play at all.

How much do Spekit and SalesHood cost?

Neither publishes a figure. On 22 October 2026 both pricing pages showed no price, currency, billing unit, seat minimum, contract length or discount. Spekit compares three packages - Adoption, JIT Knowledge and GTM Content - and SalesHood three editions, Essential, Pro and Unlimited. Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, last updated February 2026; its SalesHood page states no purchase count, so we do not quote its figures.

Does Spekit have AI role play like SalesHood?

No. Nothing on Spekit's pages describes native AI role play or call scoring. Its Learning Paths are role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications, and the page says paths can embed separate role-play tools. SalesHood ships AI Role Play with live voice AI buyers, configurable persona, demeanour and objections, and scoring against a scorecard of up to 10 criteria with an 80% default pass mark, capped per licence below its top edition.

Do Spekit and SalesHood both have deal rooms?

Yes, and both put them above the entry tier. Spekit's AI Deal Rooms sit on its top GTM Content package, tracking engagement per named stakeholder with Slack alerts and pulling Gong transcripts and Salesforce opportunity data into room creation. SalesHood's Digital Sales Rooms, also called Client Sites, start on its middle Pro edition, with mutual action plans, GenAI call recaps and personalised video messages. Neither lists e-signature.

Which one works better inside Salesforce?

Spekit, on the evidence of its own pages. It calls its Salesforce integration "two-way and purpose-built", syncs fields into a data dictionary, documents objects, fields and picklist values in place through a Chrome extension, and links content to closed-won deals in its analytics. SalesHood makes content available in Salesforce, Microsoft and Gmail and lists a Salesforce Correlation Engine as "Request" on its Pro edition, but names no tool its guided selling runs inside.

Are Spekit and SalesHood recognised by Gartner?

Both say they appear in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Revenue Enablement Platforms, in different positions. SalesHood says it was named a Leader in the report dated 10 November 2025, and a published Leaders list for it names seven vendors including SalesHood. Spekit says it was recognised as a Visionary in the same report. Both statements come from the vendors' own pages; we did not open Gartner's report.
