Spekit or Showpad: which should you choose?
Spekit vs Showpad compares in-app knowledge with field-sales enablement; neither publishes prices. Choose Spekit to guide reps inside Salesforce and web apps through a Chrome extension, with AI Sidekick and deal rooms. Choose Showpad for offline mobile content, 3D and AR assets and Roleplay AI.
Choose Spekit if…
- Reps work in Salesforce and the browser: Spekit places Speks and Spotlights inside web apps through its Chrome extension and documents Salesforce objects, fields and picklist values in place.
- You want MCP without buying the top tier: Spekit lists MCP access in its entry Just-in-Time Enablement package, while Showpad's remote MCP server is on its Expert plan.
- You want deal rooms fed by Gong and Salesforce: Spekit's AI Deal Rooms pull Gong transcripts and Salesforce opportunity data and generate mutual action plans, in its GTM Acceleration package.
- Budget is tight: Vendr reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases, against $34,875 for Showpad from 50, both last updated February 2026.
Choose Showpad if…
- Reps sell in person and often offline: every Showpad plan includes mobile, offline and browser access, and its Fall '26 release says Genie Assistant now works offline on iOS.
- You present physical or technical products: Shared Spaces with 3D and AR asset hosting come with the entry Professional plan.
- You want scored practice in the same platform: Roleplay AI, knowledge checks and certifications start on Advanced, with feedback in 35+ languages since Summer '26 and new custom personas and voices in Fall '26.
- You already run Brainshark or Bigtincan Hub, which now sit in the Showpad product family under Vector Capital ownership.

What is the difference between Spekit and Showpad?
Spekit is built for the rep at a desk. It sells "AI-first revenue enablement for every rep and every agent" (Spekit) and delivers it through Embedded Enablement: short Speks and Spotlights notifications inside web apps via a Chrome extension, with deeper triggers in Salesforce, where it syncs objects, fields and picklist values and places documentation beside them. Its AI Sidekick coach, AI Deal Rooms and Learning Paths draw on the same governed content library.
Showpad is built for the rep in front of a customer. Its homepage headline is "The world relies on what you sell. You can rely on Showpad.", it describes products such as medical devices and infrastructure equipment, and it lists healthcare and medical devices, manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, chemicals, technology and financial services as its industries (Showpad). Its products are Sales Readiness, Content Management, Buyer Engagement, Analytics & Insights and Revenue Execution, on an AI core called Showpad Genie.
Showpad is also the larger product estate. Vector Capital completed its acquisition of Showpad on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan under the Showpad brand, with Apratim Purakayastha as chief executive (Business Wire), and the homepage now lists Showpad Brainshark, Showpad Bigtincan Hub, Showpad Zunos and Showpad ClearSlide in its product family. Spekit shows no merger or sale on its site.
Which is better for field sales and offline use, Spekit or Showpad?
Showpad, on the vendors' own descriptions. Every Showpad plan includes "Access on mobile, offline, and browser", and the entry Professional plan includes Shared Spaces with 3D and AR asset hosting, a training library and courses, and CRM, email, Chrome and marketing-automation integrations (Showpad pricing). Its Fall '26 release, dated 28 October 2026, says Genie Assistant "now works offline on iOS" (Showpad Fall '26).
The Field Seller Agent, on the Expert plan, goes further. The Summer '26 release says it prepares pre-meeting briefings with open commitments, captures audio, images and text offline on iOS, and syncs structured meeting summaries to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Sales Cloud and HubSpot (Showpad Summer '26). Fall '26 added Account Insights, which pulls meetings, content shares, Shared Space activity and CRM history into one brief.
Spekit has no equivalent, because it is not trying to. Its pricing page names Chrome, Slack and Outlook integration in the entry package, and neither its homepage nor its pricing page mentions a mobile app (Spekit pricing). For reps who present on a tablet in a customer's office or on a trade stand, that is decisive; for reps who spend the day in Salesforce, Gmail and Slack, Spekit's in-app guidance is the closer fit.
How do Spekit and Showpad compare on AI, role play and MCP?
Showpad tiers its AI by plan. Genie Assistant and Agents are on every plan; Roleplay AI, knowledge checks, certifications and AI-powered content governance start on Advanced; Genie Agent Studio, custom agents, Authoring AI, the Field Seller Agent, Salesforce and MCP connectors and a remote MCP server need Expert. Roleplay AI gained feedback in 35+ languages from a single scenario in Summer '26, and Fall '26 added custom personas and voices. Showpad notes that "Feature availability varies by tier", so confirm which plan carries each feature you need.
Spekit sells role play only as an add-on: its pricing page lists white-labelled AI roleplay for practice and certification outside both packages, priced through sales. Its Learning Paths package content into role-based programmes with AI-generated Knowledge Checks and certifications, and can include embedded role-play tools. Its AI Sidekick coach works in any browser tab and surfaces in Salesforce, Gmail, Gong and Slack, and the GTM Acceleration package adds deal, email, opportunity, account and call-review agents.
Both connect to outside AI and to Gong. Spekit MCP names Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Glean and Gemini and sits in Spekit's entry package, and Spekit's AI Deal Rooms pull Gong transcripts and Salesforce opportunity data. Showpad's Summer '26 release lists MCP integrations with Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot and Glean, and Fall '26 added MCP Connectors for Gong, Map My Customer, Badger and Databricks that feed live deal data to Genie Agents.
How does Spekit pricing compare to Showpad pricing?
Both sell per seat and neither shows a price. Spekit says it "uses a per-seat pricing model, quoted based on your requirements" and that pricing is based on package and team size, across Just-in-Time Enablement and GTM Acceleration, with AI roleplay as an add-on (Spekit pricing). Showpad says it "is licensed on a per-user basis" across Professional, Advanced and Expert, each with a "Request a quote" button, and lists Empower +, Learn + and Collaborate + add-on bundles and professional services without prices.
Vendr has dated data for both. It reports a median Spekit contract of $16,308 a year from 36 purchases (range $8,749 to $60,227) and a median Showpad contract of $34,875 a year from 50 purchases (range $13,690 to $129,240), both last updated February 2026 (Vendr Spekit, Vendr Showpad). Both samples are small, and Vendr's Showpad header shows 33 deals handled rather than 50 purchases, so treat the figures as directional. Part of the gap is scope: a Showpad contract can include training and Roleplay AI, which Spekit prices separately.
Get quotes for the same seats, roles and term. With Showpad, ask which plan carries the features you need, since Roleplay AI starts on Advanced and the MCP server and Field Seller Agent on Expert, and, if you run Brainshark or Bigtincan Hub, which product your renewal covers. With Spekit, ask which package each user group needs and what the AI roleplay add-on costs.
