Who Showpad fits, and who should look elsewhere

Is Showpad worth it? For field sales teams selling physical or technical products, who need content, training and buyer engagement on the road, it often is. Inside-sales teams, and buyers who want a published price or a short product family, should compare alternatives first.

Showpad is built for field teams and now carries a family of acquired products. G2 reviewers rate it 4.6 out of 5 from 1,909 reviews, read on 31 October 2026.

  • Fits: field sales teams selling products such as medical devices and infrastructure equipment, which is the buyer Showpad's homepage addresses.
  • Fits: teams that want AI agents and role play in plan tiers they can read: Roleplay AI arrives in Advanced, and Genie Agent Studio, a Field Seller Agent and a remote MCP server in Expert.
  • Look elsewhere: if you need a published price. Every Showpad plan is "Request a quote".
  • Look elsewhere: if you are a Bigtincan or Brainshark customer who wants certainty about which product your renewal covers; ask Showpad to map it to the current plans in writing first.

What does Showpad do?

Showpad's homepage headline is "The world relies on what you sell. You can rely on Showpad." (Showpad). Its platform covers Sales Readiness, Content Management, Buyer Engagement, Analytics & Insights and Revenue Execution on its Showpad Genie AI core, and Showpad Brainshark, Bigtincan Hub, Zunos and ClearSlide sit in the product family.

Genie Assistant and Agents come with every plan. The Fall '26 release of 28 October 2026 added MCP Connectors for Gong, Map My Customer, Badger and Databricks. Showpad is owned by Vector Capital, which completed its acquisition on 30 October 2025 and combined it with Bigtincan under the Showpad brand (Business Wire).

How much does Showpad cost?

Showpad does not publish a price. Its pricing page, checked on 31 October 2026, lists Professional, Advanced and Expert plans, each with a "Request a quote" button, and its FAQ says "Showpad is licensed on a per-user basis." Add-on bundles are listed without prices.
